Shut Up And Work

Horrible. This company did a tile job in my condo but never completed it. I have contacted them at least 14 times and he always had an excuse and never showed up when he committed to do so. Two weeks ago his mother passed away and that was his excuse. However, since then he has committed to come and complete the job (which he was paid for) and he has not shown up. The last straw was 3/23/2012, one month since I had last seen him...he swore to me on the phone he was a 'man of his word' and he'd be here to complete the job first thing in the morning. Again, he did not show up and did not contact me. I've had it with him. He was paid in full on 2/28. He ran to MY bank to cash the check so I have no recourse. He also has some supplies which I paid for but he took when he left. Those items were to be installed in my home. So, now I need to not only purchase those items again, but I need to hire someone else to complete the job he started. To date, I've had to pay $390 ( I have the receipt) to have someone come in my home and fix what this company did not finish.
