+ -1 moreThe build quality of the homes in this neighborhood are subpar. Much of the work is performed by unskilled workers. There is a reason they make having an inspection of the home before closing so difficult, because it wouldn’t pass. The list of problems with my home is too long to list, but here are the photos of my foundation that needed to be tore up to access the faulty plumbing that was installed. It required use jackhammers inside of my home and it was not properly contained sending dust through my entire home. My walls, floors and trim are all damaged as a result and the solution is always the same. Send out more unskilled labor to do subpar work resulting in further issues. Do your homework before buying, a new home shouldn’t have this many issues.

+ -1 moreI dealt with SEDA several months ago. They were very unpleasant and shady to say the least. The owner was the worst representation I have ever seen at a large company. Absolutely horrifying experience for a new home purchase. They cut corners throughout, hired low skilled labor and installed cheap products. Employees seem to have minimal skills in terms of the finish of the home. My inspection was denied and I was also told I could not come in the home while an inspection took place. Seda contracts only protect Seda it seems. Buyers have little to no rights, so go ahead and accept that if you want to. Their new home process lacks ETHICS Warranty appears to be a joke. If it cant be fixed with caulk or a drop of paint Seda says it's not covered. I don't see the value in their warranty at all. You would think they would want to honor their quality, but instead they run the other way when you have issues. I will never work with SEDA again and I recommend everyone find another builder too. Negative reviews get deleted by SEDA somehow so be careful out there if you want to know the truth

+ -1 moreThey were pretty good. The quality work that they did was fabulous. It went pretty smoothly, they did everything that they could. They stuck with the price. They're really nice people to work with. It was really fun to deal with these people. I would recommend them. I recommended them already to my friends and family and they like them. We haven't had any issue with the house until now.

Description of Work: SEDA Restoration estimated and installed new flooring (cork flooring in kitchen, carpet in one bedroom, laminate flooring in 7 rooms) in my formerly-carpeted and flooded home. Matt Bevis, the initial SEDA Restoration contact/Sr. Prj. Mgr., was always responsive, helpful with suggestions and alternatives, kept me informed, answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. There was a little bobble when the day-to-day project manager left the job before completion, but the project was eventually completed (delay was due to transition pieces having to be ordered and it took several weeks for them to come in). |Subcontractor did the installation. Flooring installation crew manager, Aaron, was knowledgeable, pleasant, answered all my questions, and did a good job. He and the crew were on time, worked well together and took care, particularly during the dustiest and noisiest time-grinding down hearth stones at floor so flooring would fit under-it looks great. Plus, they were accommodating and worked around me since I work from home. And, they cleaned up after themselves. Flooring issues pointed out were corrected immediately. A troublesome issue with one of the installation crew was resolved promptly. |I am enjoying my pretty floors, and get compliments on the new floors when guests come in.
