Royal Moving and Storage

I hired them to move my things into a pod and then out of the pod and into my new home. They broke 2 very expensive pieces of furniture. They broke 2 pieces of 2 end tables and they scratched the surface of my bed frame and the surface of my Armour and there are dents all of my furniture. I asked them to use blankets when they put my things into the pod and they wouldn't do it. When I told them I would need to order new pieces for the end tables and to get the insurance to cover the cost they said they would just glue the pieces back to the furniture and return it to me. They said insurance wouldn't cover the new pieces and that they had to use glue. When I talked to the owner he was very rude and raised his voice to me. He had a very bad attitude and he challenged me saying "what are you going to do about it?" I regret using them. They were reckless with my things and had reckless customer service. They would throw my furniture and things while moving it.

Other than they also charged me a fueling surcharge on top of the Big Deal, it was fine. It was like an additional $35. I thought when I bought it on Angie’s List, I was buying it and was done. Then, they would not take a credit card so that was another thing and it was kind of a pain on the backside. I could write a check for it but no credit cards because they could not process credit cards. They need to get with the times. I do not know if I would use them again personally. They did an okay job with the actual moving of stuff, but there were some hiccups. The pricing was pretty good.

We had a 3 man crew led by Carlos. They were great! They worked fast and efficiently. They wrapped all furniture for nominal fee. We bought them lunch and they took only 20 min break or so. Nothing was damaged., and we had some heavy items that were damaged in a previous move, so we were anticipating trouble--NONE! We appreciated that they seemed to like their jobs and made a tough time for us a lot lighter.

I was not happy with them. They broke stuff and didn't reimburse me. They were professional at the time. They gave me some false quotes. They told me they were going to move my outdoor plants and furnishings, but on the day of the moving, they said they don't do outdoor stuff. One of their workers offered to do it on their time, I paid him, and he didn't do it that day. I had to wait for them to finally mover the rest of my outdoor stuff. It just was not a good experience at all. I was disappointed. They charged me $1200 to move me not even 10 miles and then I paid $400 to move my outdoor stuff, and I tipped the packers to split between the three of them. I thought it was an incentive for them to do things, but they broke the legs of my desk. I was told the price was average. The whole move was not very organized. They said they would come in on Sunday. I had broken my leg, so they had to do everything. They said they could do everything in a day. They came on Sunday, they worked for 2 or 3 hours, then they said they would come on Monday. They spent the whole Monday to pack, and then moved my stuff on the next day. It was not planned very well. They never came to see how many items I had and how many boxes they need. I asked them if they needed to come before to see the items I had and how many boxes they need. They were punctual. The guys were really good. I would never use them again.

Went great. These movers far surpassed any other mover I have ever used in the areas of expertise, professionalism, punctuality and speed. GREAT GUYS!! I have had so many bad movers through the years. It was so nice to have some professionals come in and do the job right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Follow their instructions and be ready when they show up.

Royal movers has storage move my possession from storage to my new home they where on time my window was 12-2 they showed up @ 12 they had me all moved in by 2:00 they were polite and very attune to my need I would deff use this company again and sugess it to others thank keyon & your partner for all your help

This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I purchased the deal for 2 hours with 2 guys and not a short time later I received an e-mail asking for the details and to call in. I spoke with Sonny, Operations Manager, he was very polite and made the scheduling process painless. On the day of the move, I relieved call within the window I was originally told, informing that the movers would be out in the next hour or so. Within the next half hour, I received another call from the company, this time the driver of the truck. He informed me that they would be out within the next 45 minutes to hour. Shortly after the call and within that time frame, I hear the moving truck and go outside to greet them. The truck has the company name on it, which was very reassuring. I have seen plenty of unmarked moving trucks or uhaul rentals that would make me think twice about the company. So downstate I was met by Corey and Joe. Corey was the driver and explained everything that was going to happen and about how long it will take. After I signed some paperwork, Corey and Joe got right to it with the hand truck. Corey and Joe both took care with my things and furniture. They made sure everything was wrapped and handled as if it was their own. Both Joe and Corey on separate occasions proved how honest and trusting they wore. Corey had found my passport that fell on the floor from my dresser and Joe a cashed check that had fallen out in the chaos of packing . They both came right to me immediately with the items in order to avoid them getting lost and or stolen. I also noticed late in the move that my wife had left a small coach hand bag on the floor by mistake, something that could of easily been picked up , remained on the floor after the move. These two guys have to be some of the most honest and caring movers I have ever dealt with. The total move took about 4 hours , everything was moved and nothing was broken. I would highly recommend this company for any type of moving. Be sure to ask for Corey and Joe!

Their service exceeded my expectations! I have not moved homes in 35 years and I had heard tales of shady moving companies with low-end workers. BOY, was I surprised at the service and quality that I got from the three movers we got from Royal Company. First, talking with Wayne in the office was very pleasant- as he delineated all the charges and details of his services. Then, when the men showed up exactly within their time window yesterday morning, I was pleased. John, Val and John opened the back of the truck- and the inside was immaculate. It was as if they brought a new truck just for my furniture. The three guys were very personable, easy to work with- and very careful. In fact, when I wanted them to take a shortcut with one item, they very politely put me off to the side and told me that they have a certain way of preparing all the items so there is no damage and they can transport everything securely. All of them showed great care with my furniture- and at the end of the day (two truckloads of furniture)- there was only one item damaged ( and that was done by my wife as she was showing them her way of doing it). These guys plastic wrapped all items and padded them with multiple blankets to keep them safe. They actually worked a 10 hour day to get the job finished- and they were as careful with the furniture at the end as when they started in the morning. I picked Royal Moving from Angies List because of the recommendations- and I am happy to add my 5 star rating for them. The service and the men were all great- and I highly recommend them for any move. By the way, their final price spot on to what I was quoted. (And I actually think it should have been more based on the yards and yards of plastic protective wrap that they used).

They called 30 minutes prior to their ontime arrival. We had a job briefing on what would be done. All of my furniture was wrapped or padded as needed. Everything was moved with care and speed. My move distance was 35 miles. Nothing was damaged. The unload was very quick and efficient. My bed was set up and my boxes were placed where marked. I am very pleased with their service.

Carlos, Dan and Mike were on time, polite and ready to work. Total move took about 7 hours and they worked very hard. They were careful moving in and out of our house and we did not suffer any moving casualties.

I found this company through Angie's list. I needed my son's furniture moved from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach. I dealt with Sonny. Simply put, they were great and I would give them an A+. Punctual, priced right, workers worked hard and fast as possible and friendly, nothing damaged, and no surprises. Took two and a half days for the packing and moving but it went great. I didn't expect the cost to be as high as it was...wish I would've gotten a few estimates and really worked through what the total cost per day would be. My cost ran about $1200-$1400 per day, as that includes a fee for the truck (yes, even on packing day for supplies), plus costs for supplies. The packing supplies are good quality, but I wish there was more of a rental arrangement available vs buying them and having to sell or give them away later.

They arrived on time. They were very professional and did an excellent job of moving with no damage whatsoever. I am extremely pleased and would use them again. They are highly recommended.

Everything went exactly as they promised. Their guys were courteous, careful and hardworking. They worked together as a team and you could tell they liked working with each other.

They arrived later than the projected time and at first I had trouble negotiating price but after saying I was an Angie's List member they adjusted the price for me. My move was not a large move but they did excellent service. Everything was done smoothly and professional despite the appointment time and trouble with pricing.

Royal Movers called a half-hour prior to scheduled arrival time to let me know they were on their way. Arrived exactly on time. Three movers loaded my furniture pieces and boxes quickly and efficiently into the large, 26 foot truck, wrapping furniture in protective plastic as they went. There were a few pieces that I did not want loaded, and they took direction very well. As the move was in the same neighborhood, the drive over took less than 5 minutes and then they quickly unloaded the furniture and boxes into the various rooms as indicated. Movers were friendly and professional.

They needed to make two trips and took it in stride; we got it all done in one day. I did help a little but they were the muscle and knew what they were doing. Treated our stuff like it was their own.
