Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I spent about $100 an hour on the service. I could not tell where the water was coming from. So, I had them look at it. They came right out. I had not used a plumber in a while. So, I cannot compare their prices. They were responsive. I would use them again in the future if required.

I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter of St. Augustine, FL.

They were able to come out pretty quickly when I called. The service was excellent. Everything was great. I have nothing negative to say about them.

I was shocked by the amount charged. Mom is happy the drains are not clogged, but not happy about the amount charged agter the work was done.

We thought their price was reasonable. We will use their services again in the future.

They promptly came out, gave us an estimate to replace the exterior drain lines for our rental property, and set up an appointment for the work. We were very impressed with their responsiveness, promptness and professionalism, which was important to us because we live out-of-state and were on a tight schedule. We used them a second time to clear the washing machine drain line, and received the same fine service. We will use them again in the future.

Kitchen drain was clogged. Tried drain cleaner and plunging. No luck. Called RotoRooter. They gave me a 2 hour window. They called toward the end of the window to say they would be a little late - prior job took longer than expected. No problem there. I appreciate that they called. RotoRooter came and snaked the drain. They also flushed it with cleaner and forced air. Tech was there for about 45 min. Work was done well but awfully expensive.

The guy that came out was really professional and really nice. They took shower before they come to your houses. He was very good about knowing what happened at our house. He quickly cleared it out, took care of it. He then took care of the particular toilet that was causing problem. He cut it all and refilled it. The problem was that the water was coming out of the toilet. It was hard to know where it was leaking. He took care of everything. He was very nice and did everything that I asked him to do. He was constantly cleaning what was coming up. He was very good about making sure that he didn't leave a mess. I was pleased with his price and I have no complaints at all. He came in when he said he would come. He was very easy to deal with and expect that from a plumber that they exactly know what they are doing and he knew what was wrong.

Overall, they were very professional and courteous!

We spent the first 21 days in a rebuilt house using wal-mart's bathrooms and resorted to paper plates or take out because the builder claimed it wasn't his fault. Then, frustrated, I called Roto-Rooter. They came out and even took a video of the debris. They fixed the problem for the moment, but could not guarantee their work as they normally would. They wanted to replace all exterior lines to the city hook up. I couldn't afford it and it wasn't my fault, but the video did prove to the insurance company, the builder and the plumber it was their responsiblility.... so they fixed it. My only regret was trusting my builder. I should have called Roto-Rooter the day we moved in, ran the kitchen sink and had the mini-floods begin.

Very professional and thorough, called me first thing in the morning to let me know exactly what time he would be here, expalined every step of the process and overall I was very happy with the service.

They got back to us right away and they came out right away. The guy that came out was professional and courteous. He answered all our questions. They were good and a lot better than I expected.

They were very professional. He looked at the problem then gave me a call back to tell me what the charges would be. Once I told him to go ahead he did a very good job.

When they came back to install my toilet and sink they did so but left knowing that it wasn't working properly. He argued with me because he'd already put the sink in but the drain wasn't working properly. He wanted to charge me more than the original estimate for the installation. I'd already contracted them to do a proper installation and I wasn't about to pay them twice for a single job. I called the company when he left and complained to a professional woman at the office that was supportive in making sure the wrong was made right. They sent someone back out and took care of the installation properly and at no additional charge.. as it should have been.

Well, when my tenants called me about the water heater problem, that there was no hot water, I did not know what to do and I thought it might be something major. Then I logged on to Angie's List looked up some plumbing companies and started called them. Most of them wanted to go to the site check first and for that they asked $85-$100 whether I get my work from them or not. But when I contacted Roto Rooter they immediately got all my information and gave me all the information and got me started. They did not ask for any kind of money to go to the site. They told me someone would be at the site first thing next day morning , check what was wrong with the water heater and give me an estimate of what needed to be done. Best of all I was not obliged to go with them if I did not like the estimated figure and wanted to look around for more. It was great to hear this. Next day morning at 8.00 AM Tom from Roto Rooter was there and he informed me that he is on his way to the site. My kid was sick that day so I could not make it to the condo, but Tom and the office of Roto Rooter were in touch with me all the time. Tom checked everything and called me that the thermostat had gone bad and needed to be changed and would cost $169. Nothing else needed to be done as he made sure to check other things before giving me a call. I was satisfied and asked him to go ahead with the work. After about an hour Tom called me that he had fixed everything at the site and in fact he took the time to explain everything to our tenants. He also gave me his phone No. just in case if I needed help further. He also taped along some wires at the site as they were loose. So overall I had a very satisfying experience and I would use this Company again and recommend them to all. Thanks.

They were very professional. They ended up ordering a part they came back and installed that. I was very pleased. They are up to date on all there equipment. On time.

My complaint is not for the work they did, but for the price they charged. I believe it was exorbitant. The materials he used couldn't have cost more than $30. The labor was probably a couple of hours. The plumber was very courteous and professional. The work was good, but the price is what caused the ship to sink.

I was impressed by their professionalism. They came the same day I had contacted them and the dispatcher called ahead to let them know they were on the way. Daniel, who did the work was top rate.

Hot water heater stopped working. Called Roto-Rooter at 8:45 am they were very professional on the phone and had a service man here by 9:45 am. The service man was also professional and knowledgeable. Found shorted element within 2 minutes and recommended replacing both due to parts being relatively cheap. Work was completed within 5 minutes.

The serviceman from Roto Rooter arrived at the appointed time and was dressed neatly. He was pleasant and quick to get down to work. I don't think the whole thing took 15 minutes. I do recommend Roto Rooter.

Excellent. Company rep. came out to my house the day that I called. I own a 1940 home that had original plumbing. I had received another estimate from another plumber that this job would cost approx. $2800.00. Steve from Roto-Rooter took a lot of time inspecting the house to include crawling underneath. The job was scheduled for the next week and completed in a day. One of the plumbers on the job called me while they were working on it and stated he felt the kitchen piping was in good condition (due to a re-model) and would not require upgrading, this saved me $150.00. I felt they were complete in their service and honest.

The technician came out on a Saturday because my water tank had burst. They did not charge a premium for coming out on a Saturday.

Roto-Rooter did a superior job on my home. They were very convenient to work with and more than willing to respond to any of my "on site" needs. I was very happy with them.

I have used Roto-Rooter for a long time. I like that they get the job done right the first time. I would say that that they are friendly. All of my experiences with them have gone good.
