Description of Work: I cannot recommend Roto Rooter of St. Augustine highly enough. I have used them for many years, and Richard has always been the plumber they've sent to my home. He is always polite, clean-cut, and on time, and he works quickly and accurately and cleans up any mess left over. On his last visit, he fixed multiple issues including a clogged drain, running toilet, repaired two faucets, a drainstopper, and a showerhead; all in under two hours and at a reasonable cost. | |Another time, Roto Rooter installed a new toilet, which after a couple weeks we determined we didn't like. There was nothing wrong with it, we just didn't like it. The owner, Steve, agreed to replace it free of charge. That act of goodwill bought them a lifetime customer. | |In a crisis, Roto Rooter has generally been able to get to my house on the same day. They really are an upstanding company, and as long as they are around, they are the only plumber I will call.

Description of Work: It's going bad enough having to call a plumber on Thanksgiving weekend. The man answering calls after-hours was having a worse day than me. His attitude suggested he should avoid customer interaction altogether. I've always had success with Roto-Rooter in the past so this came as a surprise.

Description of Work: a plastic water pipe fitting broke between the water meter and my home flooding my yard. i had marked the location with a flag and had the city water dept. shut off the water. the plumber got there on time and dug down about 10 inches and replaced the fitting and did a good job replacing the fitting with a stronger one and re-aligning the pipes at the junction to take the stress off the pipes which was the cause of the problem. good work all around but i thought the price was high. but this is Florida and i do live on a canal.

Description of Work: Our rental unit had a bad leak...the first company came and left making a bigger problem. Richard with Roto- rooter came out and had to fix the first plumber's mistakes and then continue with the repairs. Our renters were extremely happy with his workmanship and professionalism. It was on Labor Day Sunday, so know he gave up time with his family to repair our problem. He then called me and explained what further repairs would be needed down the line. Was so pleased.
