I had everything in the boxes the kitchen which is in one box everything that was in it, they put everything in the dinning room and some of it in the bedroom and they left a two hundred pound safe on my dinning room floor, not only that I have a small safe a century safe they tried to break it open and get into it and I talk to the man that owns the place and he yells at me and I said don't yell at me because I go over three D and I a going on Facebook and you would loose your business.

We had to move approximately a small storage locker's worth of heavy stuff (including a music rack, lots of books, and some metal shelving) on short notice due to lack of planning. We checked Angie's List and called a provider who wasn't available but recommended River City. They showed up early and were hard working, efficient, and polite. They completed the job faster than we hoped for in 90 degree heat despite having to carry the stuff up three (3) flights of stairs. They definitely earned their pay! Price indicated does not include tip.

I would use them again.

Customers beware! The movers were pleasant.. Even though we talked about it before they started, as can happen with wood floors, my floors were scratched in the process. The movers acknowledged the scratches and I wrote on the work order before signing and paying. I had them call their supervisor for instructions and he told me to pay and file a claim. I did that immediately and 4 and a half months later have heard nothing. I have called several times and get no call back or someone says it's "up to the insurance company". My local hospital that I owe money to would be interested for me to tell them "it's up to the insurance company". This company should have made this right a long time ago- insurance or no- we're not talking about a lot of money. I think it's a shame they don't back up their employees. My mistake was paying them before getting an estimate & deducting it from the price of the move. BEWARE! This same company also operates as All My Sons Moving & Storage. These people are masters of ducking & moving. The person you need to speak to is never "in". I filed a lawsuit against them, received a judgement against them & still they refuse to make it right. So, check Angies for more reviews, check both these companies in Jacksonville business reviews, & check with the BBB. If you do, you won't make the mistake I did.
