Reads Moving Systems of Florida / Atlas Van Lines

Very well before and during the move. The Relocation Consultant, James Hobby, came to our home a few days before the move to provide a free estimate. He was very pleasant and professional and we felt our move would go well with this company. We were also very happy with the discount offered by this company for AAA members. The movers themselves could not have been more professional - calling each other, "Sir" even though it was obvious some of them were pals off the clock. They were very careful with our belongings, really paying attention when packing glass or delicate items. We were impressed with the speed and cheerful nature of the crew who even turned around and returned to our home after forgetting a few items on our back porch we had not noticed until the van had pulled away. The only problem we had with this company was after the move. The day after we got moved in, we had to evacuate due to Hurricane Matthew. We were gone 5 days. It was another couple of days before we needed to do laundry and when we did, our washing machine leaked.. We double checked connections, etc., but it continued to leak. We felt perhaps the leak could have been caused by the move and placed a call to Mr. Hobby to discuss the matter with him. We left 3 messages on his voice mail and one with the office manager. No call backs from Mr. Hobby. For 3 more weeks. Then he left a message on our phone, giving us a phone number for "Claims." By then, our washer's problem was ironed out and a call from Mr. Hobby not very helpful. We "might" use this company again if needed, but hopefully with faster response to phone calls after the job was completed.

They were very quick and responsive, and communicated with me very well. They were very good.

They did a good job. The issue I had was they told me they were charging me by weight so I got rid of a lot of stuff and the final price was the exact same as the original quote before I got rid of my washer and dryer and other multiple pieces of furniture. The excuse was that they misquoted meand hellip; My things made it on time and were not damage so the job was completed.

I was really impressed with this moving company. None of my items were damaged or broken. I received awesome care and great services. The customer care was really fantastic. I would not hesitate for a minute to use this company all over again in the future. They do just what they promise to and they really care about making sure their customers are satisfied and content.

We would have to use Reads Moving Systems again in the future, because they are the only ones that travel the distance we need for our moves. However, they busted some of my pictures, ruined my cherry oak table, and scratched some furniture. I was not very happy.
