R & J irrigation

On the phone he said he could locate all of the underground valves for our zones and run through the system and make recommendations if something else needed fixed for $139. He showed up, found only the zones that were not working. Said price to dig up and replace was $450, but that included the initial $139. Said it was so much because of all the digging in the roots, however, he was done in one hour! After he finished replacing the 2 valves he said his equipment to locate the underground valves no longer worked. He needed to "send in the wand". I have called and spoke with him on 10/15 and 10/30 to see if his able to complete the job. Both times he had an excuse why he had not returned yet, but says he'll be out to take care of it. It's now been 45 days. Please take him OFF your list! How do you recommend a company like this!

He located half the valves, which included the one not working. Then charged $450. to replace the valve which is about a five dollar part. Husband was very mad. Half way through he said his equipment to locate valves stopped working and could not locate the others. Called three times to have work I paid for completed, but always had an excuse or would stop by when in the area. Once work is paid for not an option to come out when it's convenient. Definetly take hime off list of subs!
