Working with Frank and Jim was a nightmare! They are unprofessional and there was nothing "quality" in their work. They use unlicensed contractors, any cheap materials they can find and so nothing matches and the labor was shotty! We hand to fire them after paying over $35k to have another company come in and redo and fix nearky everything for us and that cost us an additional $20k. It is SO upsetting to continue to see them on the cover of Jacksonville's Home Mag which is how I got roped in, so felt the need to write and warn others. Can't believe they are still in business and those two "A" ratings are obviously fakes just to balance out those of us who have had a real experience with this company. Here are just some of the professional's exact statements about the evaluation of "Quality Pool's" work on our pool: 1. Pool interior rough and splotchy with trowel marks and lumps present. 2. Skimmer not addressed to manufacturer recommendations with plaster and tile. 3. Equipment uses not up to energy standards. Subpanel for pool lights and pump in violation of NEC code. Salt system not able to control pump. Mechanical timer used not able to operate 2 speed pump. 4. Visble plumbing used is undersized. 8-9 foot per second is not acceptable in accordance with entanglement rules or present day energy codes. Vent not terminated properly. Dead line not capped. Plumbing at pump not straight or user friendly. Plumbing not marked. Pool circulation is poor and none effective. Skimmer placement is wrong and fountain poses a trip hazard Door alarms not installed improperly. Finally, when repairs were made the electric panel was so poorly set up both lights were fried upon turning on and on top of everything else we had to have redone, we also had to get additional lights. I highly recommend staying far away from this business for anything pool related.

It all started very promising in 2015 when I decided to built a pool with Quality pools First issue was with tiles when it was misunderstanding if they have tgem in stock or not. I was told that My first choice tiles that I had to choose from webside were not available and I had to go to pick another one from showroom which I did. Then in a few months when I was picturing in my mind how pool will look like with new tiles I received boxes with tiles and tgey started installing them already, suddenly I realized its not tiles that I picked but tgey looked familiar to me so when I read the box and looked. Loser at them I realized it was my first choice of tiles. So they screwed up everything but the goood thing was that at least it was tiles that I picked in a first place. The major problem happened with pool finish. Some areas were a little darker greyish, not blue like the rest, color and I saw a shoe print clearly seen at the deepest are of the pool. When I told them about it they said its a new pool you need to brush it hard for a month and it all will go away. First of all every other company does brushing themselves for the first month to make sure pool will look good, in this case I did it by myself. Second, there was no improvement at all, it even became worse and more and more areas with grey spots started showing up They invited an inspector from company that makes pool finish mixture who said its due to increase calcium but water check showed its all normal. They tried acid wash which did not change anything. I invited probably five different companies who deal with pool finish and all of them were shocked to know that newly built pool has those stains and looks terrible like that. Once they knew it was built by Quality pools they all said they are not surprised. They said its due to inappropriate mixture of the all ingridients that were used for pool finish I realized that usually pool companies hire professionals who deal only with pool finish to mix everything correctly and apply finish to the pool but Quality pools wanted to be smarter and did it on their own and obviously screwed it up. The only solution to this was to redo finish which was absolutely denied by Quality pool. They even started saying its all my fault because I did not provide a good care for the pool and probably those stains were due to me using a heat to warm water up which was absolutely ridiculous. I even tried to take them to a small court but based on their “smart” contract it needs to be only arbitrary court which costs a lot more and no guarantee you will win, so my case was dismissed. Instead of spending money on a court I just hired another pool finish compaby which completely refunished my pool and it still looks great after 3 years Other things like deck with pavers look ok but not perfectly even No complains to the company that built screen, it all look ok So if you want to avoid trouble while building a pool hire real professionals who know what to do and accept and fix any mistakes if they made them as well as can solve any problems that may rise

The original salesman could not produce a project plan upon multiple requests. There was no foreman assigned to the project. There was lack of communication between sales and construction crews. The crew knew nothing about our requirements and we would need to instruct them on what to do. We started the project in August. The sales man indicated it would be done by November. It wasn't completed in full until the following March. (8 months to build a pool...). They came on their own time, and did not bother to communicate to us to set expectations, even when we called. The owner did not return phone call (we left at least 20 message, and then we gave up), until he was seeking payment. The owner did not even return our phone calls when his construction crew left a very large pile of gravel blocking 40% of our street which resulted in a car accident (damage to one vehicle) and a visit from the police. The crew also left demolition debris in our backyard for 5 months resulting in a nasty letter from our home owners association, saying it had to get moved or we would be fined. Even the letter summarized it had already been more than 3 months..... The crew guys were nice and courteous, but the owner and salesman were unprofessional. I would highly NOT recommend them.
