I contacted Quality Countertops and spoke with Diego (Owner). We set up a time for Diego to come to my residence and provide an estimate for new granite countertops and a new sink. Diego arrived on the scheduled date at the arranged time. Diego was very thorough, knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. I decided to go with Diego because Quality Countertops was the only company to have zero negative reviews by individuals who actually had the work performed. My Wife and I met with Diego several days later at his shop to pick out our granite. Diego had a wide selection to choose from and the process was seamless. While at his shop, we scheduled a time to have the final measurement of our countertops performed. One of Diego's workers showed up on time and completed the task very quickly. Approximately two weeks later (Due to a scheduling conflict on my end), Diego's workers showed up to install the countertops. They were professional and completed the installation in one day. The countertops were beautiful. The install was fantastic. My Wife was amazed at how great the countertops looked. Now the true testament of a quality business: Upon meticulous inspection (Because that is what I do), I noticed a few things I wanted touched up. It was nothing big, in fact nothing anyone other than I would ever notice, but I wanted them fixed none the less. I contacted Diego and very next day, two workers arrived at my residence. The workers made the fixes exactly how I wanted them. They never complained or made me feel unreasonable for wanting things exactly how I wanted them. At the end of the day, everything was done exactly how I wanted it done. My Wife and I could not be happier with the entire experience and especially the end result.

I contacted Quality Countertops (QC) via email based upon a friend's referral and the high ratings on Angie's List. I included in my initiating email specific information to base their quote. My request contained the specific granite slab I have on hold from a local granite yard, approximate square footage, I supply the sink, I would not need the services of their backplash, and I requested a price for metal (hidden) supports for the bar portion of the countertop. QC included in their quote all that stated above, the added price for plumming for the installation of the sink, and the cut out for the sink. Based upon the initial quote that was provided by QC totaling $1692, I scheduled an in-home estimate since they quoted us a competative rate on Wed. 1//21/15. My husband took the day off to meet the representative 1/23/15 between 11-12. Approximately 10 minutes before my husband should have expected a rep. from QC to be at our home, he informed me that he received a phone call saying that the quote was wrong and that the quote should be $2336. Which is a $644 difference. We are not unresounable and we understand that mistakes happen, but when discussing the numbers they were not willing to make any concessions. To give a perspective the best quote with the same perimeter and same granite slab is $2070. I hope this information is helpful to anyone.

First - as soon as we walked into location, found the exact piece of granite we wanted - Colonial White. Diego is a great person & knows the business. Installation was flawless & on time. Will definitely use again & again!!

They were very prompt about getting the products for us and doing everything. I was a little disappointed. They had to come back because the countertop didn't fit right. I would recommend them because I liked the service they provided.

Wonderful work! From estimate to job completion Diego and his team were a pleasure to work with, professional and courteous. The end result was a fantastic makeover of our tired kitchen countertops and backsplash. Amazing that this was the lowest quote of the 5 we received from various companies yet included all aspects of the job. Very nicely done. We would hire them for additional work in a minute!

Installation was great and his people were very friendly and effecent. We required three sheets of granite to do the job and they completed it in one day. We had planned on installing our own blacksplash but after finding out what Diego would charge we decided to let him install the tile we had already purchased. That job was completed in two days Diego Bianchi came through with his promises on starting date, time and installation and did every thing he could to make us happy. Would not hesitate to recommend him to others. .They also were the best price we received so we were very happy with the whole project.

Diego Bianchi was the first to arrive to give us some ideas to update our kitchen and give us an estimate. We visited the Showroom on Sunbeam Road and met his wife. Both Diego and his wife were very helpful in our decision to update our kitchen. Quality Countertops is a family owned business and everyone who came to our home was professional, courteous, and capable especially the gentleman who did the tile backsplash. He gave us several patterns to choose from and took his time installing the stone tile. We had an issue with the downdraft under the stovetop and Diego quickly sent over a team to solve the issue even though it was 7pm. The finished downdraft came out better than we expected. Of course the countertops, sink and new faucet looks amazing. We're very happy and would highly recommend them to anyone.

It went good. They were nice. The only problem was that I had to wait a week because they broke some of my tiles. Over all I was satisfied.

I hope to have him fabricate the granite I recently purchased. I plan to go to his office this week to see if he will work with me for the fabrication and installation..

I really liked all the nice reviews on this company, so I called and made an appointment for an estimate and design for my kitchen. Diego came out on 6/24/2014, took measures, listened to what I wanted and I even made sure he had pictures on his cell before he left of examples of cabinets I would like to see in my new kitchen. He advised he would work up a plan and estimate for me in a few days. I emailed him on 7/1/2014 @5:15pm asking if he had a timeline on when he would be giving me the plan and estimate. No response. I emailed again on 7/8/2014 @9:07am asking the same question and again no response. Today is 7/19/2014, still nothing from this company that I had such high hopes for. Greatly disappointed.

Quality Countertops was one of the best chioces my wife and I have made in a long time. Diego and his team were a delight to work with. The work was top notch and done on time. Do yourself a favor and go with Quality Countertops. You will not be sorry.

We called and Diego came out the next day to do an estimate. We had already picked out the granite at the local supplier. He made informed suggestions and explained the options without being pushy about it. He gave us the complete price right on the spot and here were no changes in pricing from that initial figure. As there was other work being done in the kitchen he picked up the stone and held it at his location for a few weeks until we were ready. At that point he came out and laid out the template. One week later as agreed the actual instalation was done in one day. The granite we chose was figured in a particular way and he did the layout in a very artistic manner to maximize the flow of the figuring and minimize the disruptionn at the seam. In fact, there is only one seam and it was cut in such a way that it's almost invisible, and then installed so that it is perfectly flat across the seam. I would not hesitate to use their services again. They were completely professional from start to finish, priced fairly, and were concerned with getting the best results they could. It was a beautiful job.

I cannot say enough good things about Quality Countertops. This is a family business based on professionalism and service. The family is from Brazil and their work ethic is exceptional. We interviewed six fabricators and installers before choosing Quality Countertops and we are totally satisfied with the people and the product. When we get ready to replace the countertops in our bathrooms they will be our first choice. We could not be more satisfied.

They were great. They were very timely. I thought their price was reasonable compared to other places that I had called. They came out and did it very quickly. They did a great job.

The owner Diego and his staff were fabulous to work with. We wanted to replace out kitchen counters with granite, and needed one long piece for a peninsula, which took us some time to locate., We wanted to put a slight curve, radius, on the front side of the bar to soften the look of one large piece of stone. We met with Diego several times to discuss our plans, he was generous with his time and very helpful. His installer came out and we agreed on the size the curve would be. Because of the length of the one piece, they had precut the sink opening prior to bringing it out to install but unfortunately it was cut in the wrong place. And this is where a "great" family business will shine. They all were so upset and apologetic, and very quickly found another piece of granite for us that was the size we needed.. They picked it up right away at the slab yard, came back for one more measure, re- cut the piece and they had it beautifully installed in just a few days. All the granite in the kitchen looks amazing.

Very nice and professional. They came to our house to give an estimate. We went to one of the granite yards they work with (also great place) and chose our granite, then went to their business to choose the tile and sink. The owner was very helpful in helping us choose colors, style, etc. The price for having the sink connected and faucet installed is included with their basic granite installation. They have plumbers who come out the next day and hook everything up, no problem! If you need tile backsplash, they do that also. They have certain tile colors and style that they have on hand, or you can get your own and they will install that also. They then come back after everything is done to seal the countertop and backsplash. They are all very nice, helpful, and friendly. We are planning to do our bathrooms in the future and will absolutely use them again!!

From the first phone call, I had a good feeling about Quality Countertops! I spoke with Wesley, and he invited me to their shop to talk with him about countertops, and see some examples of their work. I went with my husband and son, and he was so nice to all of us! He let my son collect little granite samples and keep them. He talked to us about what we wanted, helped us select a stone, then sent us to the two stone yards he works with (close by), and we got to choose our actual slabs! Both stone yards were really nice and I have to say tons of fun to go through and look at the beautiful granite and marble slabs. A few days later, Diego came to my house to measure the kitchen countertops. He told us the cost to install, which included expanding our bar area by 6" to make it more functional and under counter supports. They were great about explaining which cost was what-- material, sink, plumber, supports. They stayed true to their original estimate, which was the lowest of any I had found. The workmanship was amazing! Gorgeous stone, smooth edges, invisible seams (they mix the seam grout (?) by hand to match the color of the countertop exactly). They were also great about explaining where the seams will go, and was I ok with a seam at that location? They wanted me to be happy, and I was! The team at Quality Countertops clearly wants their customer to be happy. They said I could call with questions at any time, and I actually have called them for help already- I needed a left splash because my backsplash tile installer recommended that I do a left splash instead of tile on that wall. Diego and Wesley remembered me, and cut a left splash for me AND came to my house and installed it at no cost. This was months after I had the countertops installed!!! That is excellent customer service!!! I cannot recommend the team at Quality Countertops enough. These gentlemen care about creating a beautiful kitchen countertop, and having a happy customer. When we upgrade our bathrooms, we will be calling Quality Countertops again!

DIEGO and his crew were great. They were efficient and professional.. also very pleasant and friendly. They completed the work and were very accommodating to our concerns and requests. We had only one issue with the plumbing in the bathroom which required an additional visit to re drill the opening which is now complete. We did get a few estimates and they had the best price. We picked a very beautiful granite from Omicron, however did not realize that fillers are used on irregularities and flaws before the slabs are sent to the distributors which I am not thrilled about. Overall we are very happy with the kitchen and bathrooms.

Diego and company did a great job. The project started a week later than expected but when started was completed within three days. One day for removal and installation(4hrs) and the second day (2 hours) for plumbing and the third visit (1hr) final touches. His crew did a great job followed by a certified plumber and final touches by a qualified finisher. The price was for top grade 3cm granite. We selected the granite at a wholesale store (Omnicrom) on Phillips Hyw. We shopped the area and Diego's team delivered 80 sq ft of beautiful granite at a great price. I was a little skeptical at first, as his price was $1000-1800 less than two other competitors. One last note: We skipped the wooden bar area supports and went with the large metal supports (hidden out of site) An additional price but worth the extra expense. The price is reflected in the total price stated above. I'll use his crew again when we upgrade our bathrooms.

For the past year, we?ve shopped and priced granite companies and fabricators throughout Jacksonville and St Augustine?..along US 1, Phillips Hwy, San Jose Blvd. Some do this, some do that, few rarely do everything. And we didn?t want to go with the home improvement stores because they subcontract, and we?d heard too many nightmare stories. Well recently, our neighbors had their countertops installed by a St Aug company. The workmanship was ?okay? (seams didn?t look too good ? they were messy and chipped), but it was affordable, so we figured we?d probably just go with that company also and just be very hands-on. Well, the granite we really liked at their showroom was $2k above our budget. We regrouped and decided to look into our second and third granite choices instead. One day while in Mandarin, we drove by Quality Countertops and they were open. We spoke with Wesley about the two colors we?d narrowed it down to, and wanted to compare prices. Fortunately, they had them side by side in the warehouse, so we were able to see and compare! As we were talking, I explained my original choice at the other company was lighter in color, but not affordable. Wesley said ?Oh, we have something that sounds quite similar. Let me show you.? He got into the tractor and moved a gray slab, to show us another option. It was the granite we originally wanted?.OUR FIRST CHOICE?and only $300 more than choices 2 and 3, NOT $2K!!! We were thrilled, to say the very least. We didn?t have to ?settle??we would be able to get the granite we really wanted! Diego came to our home the next week to build the template. The following day I met Wesley at the showroom to lay out the template on the slab, so the exact patterns in the granite would be placed where I wanted them in my kitchen. He was very accommodating and helpful explaining how things would line up and where seams would be cut. Three days later, our countertops and sink were installed, and every day since, when I walk into my kitchen, I am in LOVE! My countertops are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It is almost impossible to see the seams?you have to run your hand along the granite to feel for them. The deep sink is a dream! We have had so many visitors, even our neighbors, compliment the granite color and workmanship. To say we are extremely pleased would be an understatement?.it is beyond anything we?d imagined, AND AFFORDABLE! Diego, Wesley, Doug & crew were awesome! Very professional, very polite, respectful of our home, our schedules, and our budget. They were a friendly bunch, always made us feel appreciated and welcomed at their shop. We have recommended them to numerous co-workers, neighbors and friends since. Going with Quality Countertops was one of the decisions we?ve ever made!

As the countertop was carried into my kitchen, I pointed out a line in the granite and said to the employee, "Is that a crack?" He responded loudly and sarcastically, "No. That's NOT a crack!" At the time I had bilateral cataracts. In the summer of 2012 I had the cataracts removed and could see easily that there WAS a crack at the sink's edge, going all the way through to the bottom of the granite. I could not have cracked the granite myself because granite is so hard. Clearly, these guys (especially Quality Countertops owner Diego Bianchi) KNEW at their plant that a HUGE blunder had occurred and decided to bring it to my house and pass it off as professional-grade granite. I am worried about what will happen to the countertop in terms of strength over time. When I put the house on the market, will I lose clients due to the damaged countertop? As a buyer, I certainly would take off the granite replacement cost from my offer. Owner Diego Bianchi has not returned my calls. I believe this is elder abuse and might sue for replacement and court costs. They pride themselves on being Brazilian, but they are disgraceful, untrustworthy and unethical. Do NOT do business with Quality Countertops unless you like being abused.
