Did not bring black light to check where urine stains were. Fortunately I had one. Carpet left extremely wet. 20 hours later not dry in master. They did not put any protectors under feet of furniture. Two rooms for almost $400. What a rip off. I needed it done so went ahead. My husband just showed me Angie's list. I wish i had seen the D rating.

Technician was supposed to arrive between 1-4 and didn't show up till after 5. I made the appointment because of an advertised special of 5 rooms for $50. Upon arriving, the technician assessed the job and gave me a quote of $500 to do the job. Classic bait and switch. They tell you that the special is for a maintenance cleaning only and your carpet doesn't qualify for that and then they try to pressure you into the more expensive cleaning. I will never do business with this company and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to use them.

We have had our "inexpensive" rugs cleaned twice by other service providers at around $50 per rug. When the Precision Carpet & Upholstery provider arrived he said the price would be about the same price we paid for both rugs because, as he said, they were made of a material whose colors would run if not dry cleaned, and would need to be taken to their facility. When we balked, he offered to dry clean them on the spot but still at a ridiculously high price. We declined and had another service "Scotty's" come the next and they cleaned both rugs for $100. Precision Carpet & Upholstery seems unethical and are out to rip you off. This is my first negative review on Angie's List but it is well deserved.

It did not go well. They were late. Then they asked for 15x more than the amount agreed upon (close to $500). Then they were magically able to do the job for $277 + tax (so only 7x more than we were told). THEN they refused to leave and demanded $35 for coming out and giving an estimate without doing any work. And by refused to leave I mean they argued when I told them to get out. They finally did, cursing and making rude comments on their way out the door. I called the main number and discussed it with a dispatcher. She stated that she needed to speak with the technicians and told me that it was explained to my wife that the cost could be more depending upon the conditions of the carpet (it wasn't, and they're in pretty good condition). Don't use this company.

Provider came and met with my husband and stated we need extra services for carpets. Carpets are new and didn't have any stains, issues, or pets stains, apparently there was extra charges for deodorizers and chemicals for the carpets. Service went from $75 to $160. I called the company to complain and was told I didn't know how to do the job and wasn't a professional. I was planning on using them for another job a week later, but cancelled due to their high prices and negative attitude.

This company is a disaster. I hired them a short while back to do a basic clean on the carpet in a room that was in pretty good condition. I called them in response to their Mint Magazine advertisement stating 2 rooms cleaned for $29.99. I told them that I only needed one small room cleaned, not 2, but I was fine paying the $30. I told them I was not interested in any up-sale, and if this was their business model then they should just turn down my business. I had hired them before and the company representative pushed the up-sale so much I finally had to very sternly tell him "no" and please leave my property (after I'd paid).For this recent cleaning, he went behind my back and told my tenant that the $30 cleaning is basically a scam and they don't really clean anything for $30. With this information, I had to deal with an upset tenant, and I agreed to the "deeper" cleaning for $136. I expressed my frustration with the company representative for his manipulation of my tenant, and he said "It's all good, but you should call me directly the next time you need your carpets cleaned. We basically just ripped you off for $136. I would have cleaned them better for $45."HERE'S WHERE IT GETS UNBELIEVABLE. AFTER DEALING WITH THE SITUATIONS ABOVE, I ASKED PRECISION TO COME CLEAN THE CARPET IN ONE BEDROOM AT ANOTHER PROPERTY I OWN. WHAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW THIS TIME WAS THAT I HAD JUST HAD THE CARPET INSTALLED BRAND NEW AND THE ONLY PERSON TO ENTER THE ROOM OR WALK ON THE CARPET WAS ME IN MY SOCKS. AS I EXPECTED, THE PRECISION COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THE CARPETS WERE IN NEED OF A VERY DEEP CLEAN FOR ~$136 BECAUSE THE $30 CLEANING WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH. I TOLD HIM I THOUGHT THE CARPETS WERE PRETTY CLEAN. HIS RESPONSE: HE WAS A CARPET EXPERT AND HE CAN ASSURE ME THEY ARE VERY DIRTY.Needless to say, I told him it was new carpet and he had nothing to say. I asked him to leave my property.

As far as the quality of work it went good. But the price was about twice as much as thought it would cost.I would advise to look elsewhere to have this done.I could of bought alot of brand new carpeting for $715.00.

Beware! I hired this company to clean wool hand knot rugs. The cleaning was mediocre at best. They burned a 5" x 8" hole completely through my 10' X 13' rug. I had to take the owner to small claims court to have the rug paid for. The process took a long time, and cost much time and anxiety. His words were, "Lady, you've met your match with me." He was wrong. Do not use this business, no matter what.

Ken and Sarah arrived on time and got to work immediately. Ken gave some tips on how to take care of the couch after the cleaning. He explained the entire cleaning process. They did not leave any mess behind. We are very pleased with the result.

Home was empty of all furniture, so there was no moving of furniture. Carpet just as dirty when they left as it was before they arrived. After digging out my Hoover steam cleaner from our moving van, I cleaned the carpet.

Less than expected. They were very responsive on the phone during our initial inquires. The guy showed up on time and was nice and worked with us as we changed our mind on a couple things. We had two carpeted rooms cleaned and the main walkways of tile cleaned as well as the tiled kitchen. The whole process was over in less than an hour. We felt we were overcharged/estimated for the amount of time it took. We were then surprised by unexpected surcharges for gas, etc. The tile & carpet were clean, but weren't very dirty to begin. Mostly we were upset that none of the edges of the tile were done. For example our hallway was done, but not the two-three inches closest to the baseboards--same for in the kitchen where it could have used an close-edged clean most.

The overall job was satisfactory but they were arrogant and quoted you one price in the advertisement but then stated the job would be four times that amount. They were five hours late. They said they would come at 8 but didn't arrive until 1 or 1:30.

Was quoted $59.00 on telephone. First quote was for $497.49. Excluding some work brought it down to $285. Could not remove a stain completely in the carpet and on some tiles in the bathroom.

Precision Carpet & Upholstery came on time and did the job. They were professional. I will hire them again next year.

The quality from Precision Carpet & Upholstery was good, but professionalism was poor. He tried to nickel and dime everything and he was rude. I was told it wouldn't cost additional after they got here.

The carpet cleaning was supposed to be $59 as advertised but Precision Carpet said that price didn't include scrubbing the carpet. The work they did was still worth the price though, and I would hire them again.

I feel that Precision Carpet was very dependable. They do an excellent job. They have always been on time. I like the way things turned out and I would use them again.

I felt that Precision Carpet did a horrible job. They were rude and intimidating. I would never use them again. The only good thing was that they did come on time.
