Peninsular is great. Better price than our last lawn/pest company, and they always let us know when they are coming out. Everyone there is extremely professional. We are very happy with Peninsular and have recommended them to others.

The company has been servicing my empira zoysia grass. I had to call them twice because I was not happy with the results. The first time I called the representative gave me incorrect information about my type of grass. When I complained they sent his supervisor. I can't say I am overall pleased with the company but I am willing to give them another opportunity to prove to me they know how to service my type of grass.

I called and immediately a receptionist answered. Scheduled an appointment and Arnold arrived exactly on-time. Let us know exactly what kind of problem we had and what chemical he was using to kill the ants. He made recommendations for us to seal certain gaps that were open in the doorway and let us know that if we saw anymore ants to give him a call back.

I wasn't home but the lawn looks better.

The service is very good. You can stop and talk to them about any issues you may be having. They came out and sprayed for ants and they did that at no additional cost. They give personalized service and really take care of any specific needs that you have.

The technician was on time, very professional and explained everything about the lawn care treatment before he started. Once he finished he made sure to let me know I needed to water the lawn the following day. Peninsular also treats my home's interior for bugs and although I very rarely see one, if I do (when it's been raining or something), they come out immediately and retreat the home if needed. No questions asked! I've been using them for over 15 years on my home, a weekly beach rental and other rental property and couldn not be happier. What great people to deal with and a reliable company to trust. They treat all of my homes for termites and I've never had a problem, whatsoever. Great company, family owned and STILL operated! I would never use anyone else. They are Great!!

Convenient date and time arranged. Rick, the serviceman, was polite, professional and thorough. He gave clear instructions as to what to expect and reminded me of 30 day warranty for fleas. Great job.

I called Peninsular because of the high ratings here. I received no guidance or advice on how to improve my yard from the rep when he came out. He basically told me that they have my yard looking better. Once again, going by the ratings here, I said OK. After 5 months, my grass is full of weeds, I have several spots that the grass is gone and other spots that are being dug up in the night by animals obviously looking for insects! My yard is in terrible shape. I received a robocall to tell me they were coming out tomorrow to treat. I happened to be at home so I answered the call. I pressed zero to speak to a customer service rep. I told her I wanted to talk to someone about my yard. She told me that they preferred to see the yard. I said fine,when. She said that they could do it tomorrow when they came out. I asked her when. She didn't know. I said could someone be there at 8:00. She said no. She kept telling everything that they COULD NOT DO instead of trying to see what would work for me! I asked to speak to a supervisor. I received a call from Trevor about 30 minutes later. Once again, It was more about them and less about me. It was obvious to me that my schedule was less important than his. He could come out Friday or Monday from 10-11. What about before 8 or after 5 when most working people are home. He then suggested that he come and leave a note. That was the last straw as I saw that I really did not matter to them and they really had no intention of trying to meet my schedule and my needs. I canceled my service at that point. I am very disappointed in not only the actual lawn treatment but the lazy and unmotivated approach that Peninsular had towards me as a customer.

I called, they came the next day and left a description of what I needed and an estimate. I called back the next day and accepted their offer and they began the following week and have been here every month since then. This is just what I was expecting.

Excellent company! They are very professional and extremely neat. I would definitely use them for all my pest control needs at my own home and other homes that I own.

I chose this company because they advertised their chemicals were child and pet friendly. They come at regular intervals and are always on time and efficient. I have no complaints about the service. If there is a problem between visits, they come willingly to the house or the yard for a reapplication.

Paul, the inspector, was punctual and professional. As a woman, I was completely impressed that he kept eye contact with me, the homeowner, and not my boyfriend who was standing beside me. He did a great inspection, described exactly what they were going to do, and what the warranty covered. The guy doing the actual work arrived at time promised to do the job. He was friendly and professional. The only complaint I had about him was that he spoke on his cell phone a lot until his boss showed up and then again after he left...I think this ended up making the job longer than needed and tied my schedule up...2 1/2 to 3 hours. But he did a good job, made everything neat and tidy and went back and sprayed an area I had requested. Paul did some inside work efficiently. The pest control man, contacted me and arranged a convenient time for me to come out... punctual, fast, efficient. The communication between everyone at Peninsular was great, no loose ends and I never had a worry about them. HIGHLY recommend!

No don'ts yet. So far service is A OK.

recently resodded yard and looking for lawn/ pest control services. we were experiences a lot of small white moths in the yard in late summer. the rep from peninsular came out and discussed the problems we were experiencing as well as provided treatment plan. for the cost comparative to other companies who had good reviews, we felt this was the best value and we know the company has been around for many years in the area.

Their contract terms were more reasonable & prices were comparable. They came out when they said they would. I’ve got a tenant in that property right now & I’ll know soon how everything went.

The sales manager handled my account. He came promptly to do an inspection and estimate. I was relieved to have no termites or evidence of other pests. When we sat down, I was impressed that he had already pulled my square footage and floor plan from city records. He explained all my options and I went with a 10-year termite bond with an annual renewal. My house was built in 1978, so my 20-or-30-or-so year protection from that time had expired. He offered me a deal on full pest control, but I declined at this time. I was mainly concerned with termites and carpenter ants. He said the same chemical is used for both, and there is a low 2-3' barrier sprayed on the exterior brick that will kill some encroaching carpenter ants. I've had carpenter ant swarms in my house in 2010 & 2011. I've had none in 2012. The work was all exterior and done while I was away at my job. They trenched all around my house leaving my landscape beds almost undisturbed afterwards. They drilled and resealed my patios with barely any trace of the holes. I came home to be pleasantly surprised that they sprayed substantial portions of my wooden fencing, and almost ALL of my wood landscaping timbers! (Those are food highways for carpenter ants.) I look forward to our relationship in the coming years, and plan to recommend their services to anyone that

The experience was a very good one. They made it easy for me. I am so pleased that I chose them to exterminate my house.

Silverfish have always been a problem, albeit a minor one. Cockroaches are another story. My wife & myself started seeing the roaches a few months back. Off-the-shelf baits had minimal effect at best and we were killing 5-6 roaches a week. The ones that we'd killed covered the whole life cycle (a few adults, some juveniles, and more than few babies). We had enough of this whole process and started researching for a pet-friendly (we have 4 indoor-only cats) professional exterminator. We'd decided on Peninsular mostly on the basis of price and their service history/performance. We scheduled an appointment for 9 AM, and the technician's truck was in our driveway at 8:55. The technician was very courteous and professional. He answered all our questions, particularly on the safety issues regarding our cats (completely safe). It took the technician about 20-25 minutes to treat our 1400 square home both inside and out. We are very pleased with the service encounter.

They are wonderful. They send the same technician each time so they are familiar with your yard and your weak spots and where weeds grow. They stay familiar with where the sun hits it most and just know what to look for. Its very important that you ask for the same technician each time. We actually priced if we did all this our selves, and it was not that much of a price difference. So if you want a nice yard, hire the professionals.

They are wonderful. We have had their service for 15 years. If you have any questions or see a bug after you're sprayed, they will come out and redo it. They are usually there within a week. They have really good service. You stick with 1 technician, that way the same person comes out and knows your home and is familiar with how things around your house work.

I have a service contract with them and so far they do a good job.
