Ole Time Fence

It went the way I thought it would be, Ben the owner is a fantastic person to deal with the fence looks very well at an affordable price which at these times is something to weigh on to make the decision to enter in a construction in the house, I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of building or repair in the house.

Had my fence installed in February 2019. I had Vinyl and aluminum fence installed around 250 feet worth plus a 4 foot aluminum gate and a 5 foot vinyl gate. They sent out a 2 man crew. One basically did one side and the other did the other side. One side is perfectly straight and not having any issues. The other side on the other hand is terrible. It’s falling over, post are sinking. My gate post is falling over to the point it’s hard to open and has gaps. I was never given the option of which way I wanted my gate put on, I assumed the side facing out toward the road would be the side they would put the gate on as it’s the side the neighbors see and it makes it flush but was but on the inside. I live on a pond so my back fence is aluminum with a gate. The gate was installed crooked and the lock and latch put on backwards toward the pond side so, I have to blindly try and fit the key to unlock and unlatch. I have contacted the company by email 3 weeks ago, got a response a week later saying they will be in touch to get someone out to fix. That was 2 weeks ago. I have sent a few more emails and seem to only be ignored.

Ole Time fence did a fantastic job tearing down and replacing the fence. The fence they put up was a high quality fence and not fencing that you would get from Lowes or Home Depot. The crew that came out were polite, professional, and explained dilemmas that came up and told me possible solution to get around the problem. I would definitely hire these guys again.

We needed to replace a fence on a property we bought in AB. There is a lot of landscaping - trees and bushes on the property in addition to rolling ground. Point is that the typical panel fence wouldn't work. Several people bid the job and for the most part insisted on removing a bunch of landscaping to get the job done. Ben assessed the project, knew exactly what needed to be done and communicated to his crew who did a great job. It was built over the course of 3 days on location and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. We ended up with a Cyprus, 6 foot capped board on board fence. ie not the easiest to build and make right but they really did it well. Overall we are extremely pleased with our fence and would recommend Ole Time for your project especially if it needs to be custom built.

I needed the job done with very short notice. I bid it out to several companies and Ole Time was the most customer friendly and professional in responding. I gave them the job and was EXTREMELY happy with the timeliness, quality of the project! I will recommend them to ANYONE in the Jax area that needs fence installed. Oh yeah, the price was better than other bids received.

The work quality was great but they were pricey. I was happy with the result, just not the price.

Called for an estimate. Gentleman came and took measurements and said I would be contacted by owner. Received estimate via email. Called to accept estimate and was asked about the size of the pickets. Said they were about 6and quot; wide. Was then told that it would cost more for the fence. Should have declined estimate then but I continued on. Workmen were scheduled to start on a Wednesday afternoon. They arrived after 5pm, apologized, left trailer with fence material in driveway and said they would be back st thing Thursday morning. They arrived about 10:30am, apologized and started working. They did not finish but said they would be back st thing Friday morning. They arrived about 12:30pm. Once again they apologized and finally finished job late that day. A couple of weeks later I discovered some of the pickets were not nailed to all 3 stringers. Called Ole Time Fence and was told they had had problems with their nail gum but they would be back to screw these pickets onto the stringers. It took about 2 weeks of my calling every day or every other day before the job was completed. I had also asked if they could check the gate they built as it was becoming hard to close. Was assured this was normal and they would take care of it. They didn't, I ended up fixing the gate. They also left some of the old fencing even though I paid for removal.

I contacted Ole Time Fence to provide a fencing quote for me. They were very fast to respond and outbid all other competitors I contacted. I have not installed a fence yet so I can not attest to the quality of the work.

I contacted Ole Time Fence for an estimate. They were promt in providing us with one that ended up being the best priced estimate out of the three that we received. They were promt, professional, and courteous and to our suprise they custom built the gate.
