Jim and David were awesome! I had some water damage to my home and these guys went above and beyond with the repair. They definitely know what they are doing. They worked fast but the quality stayed excellent! Definitely recommend this group.

Kitchen demo/rebuild/addition
Description of Work: There are too many issues to list. Contractor was provided design plans and was contracted to build the design. In his contract he stated he would use a certain window (5 total.) Contractor made design changes, used different windows. He did this without consulting me on any changes. Contractor used his son for all finishing work. Tile was laid with a lot of lippage, and there was even a tile that was loose (due to installation error.) The son installed white shaker cabinets. They were installed poorly with visible light showing between cabinets, screws poking threw cabinets, finishing nails poking through cabinets. Face of cabinets cracked due to over tightening screws. Every single cabinet, had a safety/cosmetic issue. The cabinets on the right side of my stove are mounted half of an inch lower than the cabinets on the left of the stove. I asked the contractor to fix the floors, and he refused stating that it was an issue with the tile, not the installation. After research, and having the exact same tile (purchased at the same time) laid in an adjacent room by a flooring professional, the contractor agreed to pull up the tile. The contractor did not remove tile under the cabinets. His son made an attempt to “level” the floors with a mortar/self leveling mixture, and made the floor worse. There are hills and valleys all over the slab. At that point I asked him to cease repairs, and asked to have the floor fixed by someone else. I asked for a refund of the “flooring” from the contracted price, and he refused. I asked him to replace the windows with the contracted windows 7 weeks ago, and have not heard from him. I pointed out every single issue with the cabinets, he kept saying he’d have his son repairs them, but never did. They made a mistake somewhere in construction that left an “off” order that ties to the original structure, that is really hard to explain. The corner of the addition/house hangs over the floor. When they did the plumbing they ran a 3 inch pipe from one corner of the backyard, through the entire length, around the opposite side yard, to the front. Instead of filling the 4” trench, they used a front loaded to spread the dirt. This left a 4’ wide path of torn up Saint Augustine grass. Took down a fence panel and never replaced it. I asked for them to resolve the backyard issue, and his resolution was to throw Bermuda grass seed. Since I have Saint Augustine grass (that was completed sodded 3 years ago, I immediately tried to take up the seed/straw that they threw down. I now have a 4’ wide path of Bermuda grass through the length of my yard. The siding that was installed, per installation instruction, is to have flashing at all butt joints. There is no flashing. The siding instructions also state that there is to be a 1/8th inch gap between trim and siding- there is no gap in places, and 3/4 inch gaps in others. The caulk they used cracked and failed after 2 months. The back door was hung poorly, and even after it was “fixed” there is still daylight showing through. I told him at least 3 times, what door I wanted, and he put in a different door. The electrical inspection was cancelled due to no fire rings being installed in the back splash. The issue was “fixed” by the son, photo was sent to the inspector, and the inspection was “passed.” There were never ANY fire rings installed. Upon further investigation, none of the 20 outlets met electrical code standards. The drywall behind the outlet covers was cut very poorly and there is even drywall mud inside of the outlets. I was charged twice to paint the exterior corner of the house. I was charged $4500 to paint the entire house, and then $800 to paint the addition. The son broke a $200 light fixture and assured me he’d reimburse me if I replaced it. I was never reimbursed. I brought all of these issues up to the contractor numerous times, and the only resolution he offered was to not make me pay the remaining $2500 I owe him. The last time I spoke with him, I was told that My contacting him was interfering with his work and family life. I have heard nothing from in a month.

It didn't go at all. We scheduled an appointment to come out and take a look at what I wanted to do on a Tuesday morning, which included a new shed, fencing, adding some pavers and other misc. items, and they never showed up. No call, no nothing, and I had to make plans that day to be away from my own very busy construction office to meet. He did say they were extremely busy, but to just not call at all after not showing up is unacceptable. I'm in the business, and if I responded to my customers that way, I would not be in the business very long. It's a shame because I was willing to pay cash upon completion of the work, but I'm sure somebody else will be more than happy to take it on.

Overall they did a good job. Vance was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and prompt in returning calls. The only negative I can say is that the timeframe doubled from one week to two weeks. This was due to partly having permitting delays but also their electrician made a mistake by not adding enough outlets required by code and delayed the inspection. They also failed to include in their price closet materials, meaning we had a closet without anyway of hanging clothes, etc.

Vance and his team made a very difficult situation manageable. A former tenant destroyed the interior of the house. Noble Construction made fixing my house a priority and completed the repairs in 2 weeks so that I could get it back on the market. They were very professional and the quality of the work was exceptional. They worked tirelessly even through NewYears Day to complete this project. i would highly recommend Noble Construction.

We originally went with another contractor that would not listen to how we wanted the addition constructed and who did not communicate well. We let that contractor go before even getting the foundation completed. I contacted Vance and he listened to what we wanted. Vance rapidly provided a very good estimate and we hired him to rescue the project. Vance stepped in, corrected the foundation and moved smartly through the construction. Vance was easy to work with and spent many phone calls/visits addressing our questions and coordinating the integration of the addition with the existing house. Vance was always available and no detail was too small to discuss. All the rooms came out great and the in-law suite bath is a step above. I am an engineer with very high quality standards and Vance and his subs met or exceeded my expectations. Vance provides great value and high quality for the money. I would absolutely use Noble Construction again.
Description of Work: Built a 45' x 23' addition on the existing house that included a 30'x23' game room and a 15'x23' in-law suite, all with 10' ceilings. The flooring was tile throughout and the exterior was brick all around. Separate heat pump and on-demand hot water heater were installed.

Job included investigation and repair of weak, spongy spots in the flooring of a hallway, bathroom, and laundry room in our 10-year old manufactured home as well as application of ceramic tile on the repaired floor (approximately 200 sqft). Four contractors visited our home to give us estimates and all were professional but Mr. Thomas hit it right on the nail when we told him what we wanted to have done. He responded promptly to our call for an estimate and a reasonable estimate and accurate scope of work statement followed within 24 hours of his visit. His "tile guy," Marcus, was the onsite supervisor and was accompanied by his team members, Jimmy and Chuck. We did some of the prep work ourselves by removing the bathroom vanity and moving all the appliances out of the work area. Total job took 3 days. First day included removal of all linoleum, investigation and repair of all spongy areas, removal of baseboard and toilet, and application of cement board. Second day was the longest day and included installing the ceramic tile. The third day was supposed to be a short day as Marcus had only planned to grout and then replace the toilet. However, we asked if he would reinstall new primed baseboard for us, which added on about another 5 hours work. At all times the crew was professional and friendly. They arrived promptly and completed each day's work as promised in a timely manner. The only cost overrun was done by us when we unexpectedly added on the request to replace the baseboard and Marcus and his team completed that work as well without complaint or delays. And they cleaned up each day after work!!! We were overwhelmed at how meticulous Marcus and his crew were when installing the tile. We had requested that the tile be installed in a "diamond" pattern, which we knew would be more costly in materials and labor, but the care shown by Marcus, Jimmy, and Chuck was exemplary. They had to measure and cut individually approximately 60% of the tile in order to install it as we requested. And the results are spectacular! We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company to others and would certainly rehire them in the future.

Overall, I was very happy with the results of the work done by Noble Construction Group. Vance was very professional and courteous. He was one of the LAST ones I requested and estimate from and it was THE FIRST ONE I actually received. Many others I had called, I had to wait at least a week to get them out to look at my job requirements, and then another week or more to actually get the written estimate to me. And it was also on the lower end as far as the price, of all of the proposals I had received. In some cases, much less expensive. For me, all of that adds up to a pretty good start. The only negative was, that it seemed that the windows that were ordered, were on back order and it took several weeks longer than anticipated to get he job really going. Vance was very apologetic and made every effort to get the windows. At the end, when the windows were actually ready, instead of waiting on the next truck, which was several days later, he went and got the windows himself and got the job back on track. I am a truck driver and not home for weeks at a time, so it was important for me to get the work done while I was at home. It worked out great, I was able to be home for the bulk of the job. The only thing I didn't see was the final paint job in person, until a few weeks later. I was very happy with the final result. The few minor issues that I found when I got home, were very minor and immediately made right by Noble Construction. Now remember folks, they came out to fix this stuff a month after the job was completed, and the had already been paid in full. I had been on the road a full month. They still came out and made it right immediately. I wasn't sure if they would come back at all, let alone so quickly, but they sure did. As for the quality of the work, I have no complaints whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to hire these guys again.
Description of Work: Noble was hired by me to replace all of the T111 siding with Hardy Board siding and providing moisture barrier between. Also, all windows were replace with energy efficient windows.. Caulked and painted the entire exterior of the home. At the same time, I also had them do a minor re-model of the guest bathroom. Basically, I had the tile taken down and the tub removed and replaced by a tub surround. Plumbing to tub area was also replaced up to spec.

Very satisfied with the work Vance and his crews did for us, I could not be any happier on how the job turned out. Vance made sure that the job was done right and that my satisfaction came first. He explained in detail what they would be doing and why they were doing it.. The job that Vance did not only made my house look like a new, but the difference I feel inside is amazing. I now can maintain a comfortable temperature in the hot summer months. He kept me posted through every step of the project and answered any questions I had as well as addresses any concerns. They did an outstanding job taking care of every small detail. Vance is by far the most honest and dependable contractor I have ever hired. I look forward to future home projects and know that I will be calling Vance to take care of them.

Everything went extremely well and we are very satisfied and happy with the end result. The concrete crew, roofer, electrical team and framing team were professional at all times. They were courteous, quick, efficient and each displayed pride through the high quality of their craftsmanship. While they were all excellent, the framing crew genuinely stood out. They really shined with small details like mitered corners and the finishing touches in the beautiful ceiling. You could see their pride in their craft when they stood back and assessed their work at points throughout the day. When we saw their pride it caused us to look more closely at the details and admire the quality of their work. I would definitely seek out Noble Construction again! Vance "Skip" Thomas is terrific. He runs a tight organization and is completely focused on providing his customers the best quality and service at a reasonable price.
Description of Work: Built 16 x 22 foot outdoor porch. This involved additional concrete layer over larger area, extending current roof with matching facia and soffits so that the porch looks as part of the home and will be more likely to increase property value, installation of 1" x 6" tongue and groove ceiling and extensive LED lighting with dimmers, wiring for television and GFCI circuits throughout. In addition, with an eye toward future enclosure, the ceiling was insulated with R-19 batting and a substantial built to code footer was poured around the perimeter.

It's been a week and a half and that was just to give me an estimate and I haven't received that yet. He didn't give me a quote. He took all the measurements and said he had to take it back to his boss but he did come out and he was timely and he was very nice and everything. I just haven't gotten the estimate back. It's only been a week and a half. He said they were really busy so I was gonna give him some more time. He was very nice, very pleasant, very knowledgeable and I like him a lot. He was the worker, not the boss, but he seemed knowledgeable and polite. He explained to me exactly what they would do and that kind of thing. They've been a little slow but it seems like everyone I've called has been slow. He showed up right when he said he would. If I got a good quote from him, I would go with them.
Description of Work: I talked to Noble Construction. Noble actually came out. I have a concrete block house and they're going to cut the concrete block and make a bigger opening and replace windows.

Vance was very responsive on the phone and kept his appointment with us promptly. After reviewing our list of refubishments that we planned to do, he explained to us that it would make more sense not to invest that money in those changes right now, but to wait. He explained clearly why we should do this. In doing so, he essentially was taking money out of his own pocket in order to give us good advice. We never expected that, and it was refreshing and confidence inspiring to have him do such a thing. Of course, when we do decide to make any kind of home improvements or repairs, that puts Vance and his company directly at the top of our list. In short, from our experience, you can have complete confidence in Vance's suggestions and recommendations. The man is definitely not going to try to talk you into anything that's not necessary or prudent. Our hats are off to Vance for being incredibly honest and straightforward in his advice, and we'd trust him with any job we had.

It was a major work and they did an excellent job. The clean up was excellent. They cleaned up after themselves. Because they knocked down the wall, they put down plastic on our hardwood floors to protect them. They were clean and very thoughtful. They seemed to know really well about the engineering and about how to fix the low bearing headers. They did a good job.

Vance came to our house and was punctual and professional. He took measurements and gave us a verbal estimate to add a screen room and do a reroof of our house. He said we would have a hard time putting on the screen room roof due to another room being in the way. Other contractors suggested a gable roof to eliminate the problem, he did not. We expected him to give us a written estimate but he never did and we have not heard from him since. We would have given him a A overall but since he never called back the best we can give him is a B.

I have to say that this was my first time using a contractor and Vance made the experience so wonderful. As he told me when we first met, he treats every job as if he were fixing his mother's place. As you can imagine, I was upset by the fact that my house sustained severe damage from the tree, but Vance walked me through what they were going to do, was there on-site throughout the project, and delivered first rate service. He was also very kind and understanding about what hapend - and that kind of attitude was so refreshing. Vance and his crew were professional, detailed, and the job they did for me was beyond what I could expect. Once they began the project, it went quickly and smoothly. Their demeanors while performing the services, which included the framing, drywalling, painting, etc., was beyond reproach. I felt comfortable and secure as they began and finished the work. I plan to use them in the future for other projects that I am now willing to hire help for. Noble Construction put any of my previous hesitations about contracting work to rest. Again, working with Vance and his crew was a pleasure from start to finish and I would recommend Noble Construction Group with my highest regard.

From the start Vance was a likable professional. He repeatedly told me that he worked as if each job was for his mother and I believe he does. He was there when he said he would be, explained any delays (permits can be a hassle) and patiently handled all of the changes we requested along the way. We took our time deciding who would do the work for us and I am certain that we made the right choice. Vance was a gentleman throughout the entire process. His team was also courteous and professional. We were especially impressed with Daryn's workmanship and manners. He is an asset to Vance and Noble construction. Specifics: - Cost: We had 5 estimates and Noble Construction was in the lower-middle. - Schedule: We added additional work and there were minimal delays. Vance worked very hard to keep the project moving forward and all delays were communicated ahead of time. - Performance/Workmanship: Exceptional workmanship and very responsive if changes needed to me made. Vance really works each job as if it is for his mother. Work included removing screen materials, constructing new walls including insulation, electricity and HVAC.. Additional sound board was added along with drywall. Windows and doors were installed (and hung perfectly!) Knock-down ceiling and recessed lighting. The construction fits in perfectly with the existing structure. The bottom line... we will use them again.
Description of Work: Converted a screened-in room into a conventional, heated/cooled constructed room with sound-proofing for music and gaming.

Vance and his crew were GREAT!!!!! After they started they found that some of the roof supports were rotten. They needed to be replaced which I approved. The additional cost to replace the supports was more than fair. The overall cost was very fair and the quality of the work was superior. Daryn was the foreman supervising (and working) the repairs. He and his workers were very professional and respectful of our property. I was so impressed by the quality of the work and the value of the cost, I have asked them to come back and paint the rest of the outside of my home. I would highly recommend contacting this company for any repair, great work at a fair price!
Description of Work: SCOPE Remove 4 inch grove T1-11 from converted garage wall approx. 13 feet. Also remove 4 inch T 1-11 from side of converted garage wall approx. 23 feet. Prior to re-installing a Hardy Board product 4 by 8 sheets we will perform the following. We will cut a one inch groove in the concrete slab on the back side of the converted garage next to the wall. House wrap will be installed on the bare wall, then flashing will be installed one continuous run from the inside corner to the outside corner. This flashing will be placed down in the groove which we will fill with a urethane caulk. Then the new Hardy board siding will be installed. The long wall along side of the converted garage once the T1-11 has been removed we will install flashing that will be attached to the wall studs and protrude below the finish floor grad by at least 3 inches. House wrap will be installed and new Hardy board siding will be attached to the wall. Windows and doors will be trimmed out as well as the corners with Hardy board trim. The flashing installed into a grove in the cement is to ward off the intrusion of water into the converted garage area. We cannot be certain this will perform as we hope but it is the best alternative we can design at this time. This goes for the long wall as well in both cases we certainly believe it is the most cost effective and least evasive means directly available to use. We will also find the low spot in the slab behind the closed in room and cut a drainage channel to the outside of the slab. Reducing the hydraulic effect from this wall should resolve the water intrusion problem. There is a great deal of vegetation in this area decaying and living. This will also dam water up and prevent natural flow of water certainly this is not the main issue yet it does exacerbate the problem. The carport has rotted wood at the bottom end of the eves in numerous places we suggest replacing the first two feet in all areas that are effected with no less than an 2 by 8 foot strip of roof sheathing. Install peal and stick product that is a butyl type membrane with a seal adhesive backing. Then re-install the shingles to match as closely as possible. All painting will be done to match as close as possible. Should during hard rains if the problem of water intrusion persist we suggest the installation of a sump system to remove the excess water from the area. During our inspection of the work the ground in this area appeared to be moist indicating that the area was in fact a low laying area. Cost for these repairs not to include the sump system at this time $ 3311.72. This includes painting flashing and all repairs. Removal of all debris.

Mr. Thomas and his project manager, Daryn, are professional, honest and competent. All of the workers we have had at our home with this company have been polite, helpful and professional. They are definitely "problem solvers", and have helped us with several unique issues that arose while renovating a 1927 home. The quality of the work is very good and they complete work on time. They have been helpful when we ask for an addition to our original project list, and they have been responsive when we pointed out a few small things that did not seem exactly as we wanted them. The pricing has been fair. Overall we are delighted to have found this company and will use them again and again as needed.
Description of Work: They completely rebuilt a back porch and did extensive repairs on deck stairs and railings. This included painting and staining. They dealt with a major plumbing problem that required removal and rebuild of part of a shower. We have recently employed this company again to do a variety of inside projects: refinish doors, install locks, paint a ceiling, install a sink and countertop, etc.

One day Vince came out with a small crew and gave an estimate. Then, one day someone came out and dropped off the wood. The next day the crew came out and built all of the deck except the top of the railing and then the next day they topped off the railing and then a few days later, someone came out to haul away all the waste.
Description of Work: Built a deck behind our house.

He didn't give me a written estimate, he just did some talking there at the site, did some measurements and there wasn't really that much followup from him. He was professional as far as to have his laptop there with sitting in information and stuff like that. He was polite. I would use them as a guideline but I found someone better through Angie's list as far as more professional. they followed up and seemed like that they were generally interested in the business. If they were to use Noble, I would just use them as an estimate.
Description of Work: .I did have Noble Construction Group for an estimate for some renovation on my house.

Vance came out to our property to give us and estimate. He even helped clear some of the debris away from where the old bridge had collapsed. He sent the estimate to us a few days later via email. I emailed him back and said we'd like for him to do the job. There was some delay in their getting out right away because he said a couple of their trucks had broken down and they still had some other jobs to do. He did stay in frequent contact with us, though, to let us know how things were going and when they could come out - very professional. The original plan was to start on a Friday, but he was able to come out on Tuesday with his crew. Monday someone delivered the lumber and Vance's crew came out the next day. They worked all day - from about 9 until about 6 - even after it started to rain - the usual Florida afternoon summer thunderstorm. They put pillars of treated lumber 6 feet down into the ground to provide support and put down a really nice bridge with handrails.
Description of Work: Vance and his crew constructed a bridge across our creek in our backyard. They also cleared away the old bridge that had been washed away so that it wouldn't block the flow of water in the creek.
