Mercury Carpet & Flooring

George was our contact at Mercury and he was very professional and on time to our house to do the measurements. We scheduled the carpets and bathroom floors to be replaced and it was all done in one day. Everything went great and they cleaned up after themselves. We did not have any problems at all. We chose more expensive carpeting that is supposed to last longer.

Beginning to end, George Tristan and Mercury could not have been more accommodating, polite or in any way better to deal with. The showroom is laid out in a very user friendly way, easing the tyranny of choice. Price for excellent product was fair. Because the carpeting was part of a larger remodeling and redecorating, we had to change the installation date several times. When we did land on a date, we had to give short notice but George and his team accommodated. In the madness of dealing with several contractors, I lost count and thought that Mercury had not removed waste that was theirs. When I called George to have it removed, his people were in our home cheerfully removing carpet remnants that turned out to be the responsibility of another contractor. I apologized and George just good naturally laughed about the mix-up. I can't imagine a better customer sales and service experience.

John from Mercury was great to work with. I have a craftsman style bungalow built in 1938 with the original floors. The floors are pine and were pretty beat up. Most people thought I was crazy for even thinking of trying to refinish the floors. John shared my vision from the second he walked in the door. I could tell he is really passionate about what he does and that was very important to me. John made himself available, via telephone and in person, to me throughout the entire project. I am a contractor new to the area and am extremely particular about who I sub out to, especially in my own house. John alleviated any and all concerns. Mercury carpet and John Namen exceeded all of my expectations and I will exclusively recommend them and use them on all future jobs. The floors were refinished about 6 months ago. I look at them every day and love them like the first time I saw them. Thanks again John and Mercury.

The workers were very nice, professional, and helpful. They were carful to clean up after themselves and courteous to help move things back to their original location, with precise detail to where the items had been originally located. I would use this company in the future and highly recommend them to others.

Everything was great. They showed up on time and?were profesional. There was a slight issue with carpet length but they resolved it the next day.

They were great to work with. From the second I walked into the showroom, to the end product. I met Dan in the showroom, not knowing he was the owner until weeks later. I redid everything in our house and carpet and tile were last. He was very patient working with me, since other work needed to be complete before the final product of tile and carpet were installed. He made sure to add me to the schedule, so I wouldn't have to wait once I was ready. I was pleased with the installers. They were friendly and nice to talk to. I have a rental property as well. The carpet needed to be replaced before new renters moved in. I called Dan, and within a few days we had new carpet. He is great to work with and will make sure you are very satisfied as a customer. I highly recommend them and working with Dan. I should have written this review months ago!

Dan Trist is just an awesome business professional in every sense. His installers, Tudor, John & George are meticulous perfectionists. I cannot imagine any installers to ever compare to their work, I'm serious. They were also very kind. The project took longer than we expected because of problems with our sub flooring, but that didn't bother us....perfection cannot be rushed! Highly recommend Mercury Carpet & Flooring. They are on the higher end of the pricing spectrum, but they are wonderful to deal with, so worth it to not have to worry about any hassles.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent. Did I mention it was superb. When I went in to the showroom, Dan was extremely helpful assisting me pick out tile that was reasonable and attractive. The tile on the porch is so beautiful. Everyone who has seen it has admired it. "Tudor" worked very hard to lay the tile, especially since the actual floors were less than perfect; and it was hot out on the porch. He moved the furniture out and back again, which was helpful. The appearance in both rooms is excellent. The fellows who repaired the frayed carpet were professional, personable and finished the work in no time at all. If you want tile or carpet, I highly recommend that you visit Mercury carpet.

Great! Estimator George arrived and very pleasant and professional. Everyone was very friendly when we went to the store to look at more samples. Dan was very thorough in helping up with our selection. Installers arrived on time and were very friendly and professional and did a wonderful job. Outstanding in that Dan came to our home to answer any questions after the installation was complete. He answered our questions and was again very friendly and professional. We will use them to do our kitchen, bath and laundry in new flooring as well. Very happy and pleased. Carpet was high quality and we asked for the best padding. Highly pleased with the entire process.

Appointment time was 9-10:30 am window. Rep was late in arriving due to previous appt. but did call to alert us to estimated new time. Once here, rep removed old carpet, moved furniture, removed closet doors, did own measurements. After job was complete, rep vacuumed new carpet, replaced closet doors and placed large furniture back in rooms.

They were very prompt. We went on a Saturday, they came out and measured on a Monday, and installed on a Friday. The installers were terrific. They moved everything and asked us where we wanted to put it back.

Dan was more than accommodating. There was flood damage in my mother's house and he waited until the floor was completely dry before starting the new carpet. He goes way out of the way to please the customer. I would highly recommend him.

The estimate was higher than I expected.

I found Mercury carpet through Angie's List! I am very pleased and satisfied with their service! They were helpful at the store, they did a free meaurement at my home. I was able to pay through paypal. Within a week my new carpet was installed and looks great! I also got to use the 5% off for being an Angie's List member! When I emailed Mercury carpet at about 1am they emailed me right back with an answer to my question. They don't charge for moving furniture, for measuring or padding! And Home Depot charges for all of that! And Home Depot gave me a quote of double and you have to pay for all the extras that were included at Mercury! And Home Depot said it would take a month or 2 before the carpet would be installed! And Mercury had it installed within a week of purchase! I was very impressed with their turn around time!! I definetly recommend Mercury Carpet!!

The work went smoothly. The repairman had the necessary materials and tools. I had to move the electric range to provide access for the repairman.

My entire experience with Mercury Carpets/Dan Tristan has been FANTASTIC! I can't say enough good things about the level of customer service, quality of the products, and the talant and experience of the installers. Mercury Carpet and Flooring were excellent. They were great. They were very professional, came on time, did exactly what they said they were gonna do. They vacuumed afterwards which I thought was really nice. They put the furniture back and they did a very good job. We were really pleased with them. Their price was fine, it was about the same as most of the other companies.

They arrived on time and did a great job putting down the carpet. They lived up to everything they said they would do.

I got them off of Angie's List. They were well rated and they did everything as well or better than expected. They were terrific. They were very helpful, very pleasant and very professional.

Called up before hand to make sure carpet is available. We selected the carpet and picked it up.

Mercury Carpet & Flooring were outstanding. The salesman and co-owner came by many times to check on it. He measured it personally. They were more competitive than home improvement stores and the workmanship, the installers, were outstanding. You can't do better than Mercury Carpet & Flooring.
