Mercury was great. They came out to the house and brought sample carpet to provide an accurate estimate, which is exactly what I paid. Installation was quick and flawless. From sales to installation, they were extremely professional and nice. The carpet looks fabulous. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

Mercury removed the laminate from 2 rooms in our house and installed wall-to-wall carpet in those rooms plus our Florida room over a 2-day period. Dan was very professional and easy to work with, came out personally to take measurements, and provided us with an easy to understand estimate. His 3-man crew did a great job, cleaned up after themselves and hauled away all debris. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for good quality carpet at a fair price.

We decided to look around for a company to install wood flooring in our home. After calling several top rated companies both on Angie's list and BBB we decided to give them a try. The service was exceptional and the result was GREAT!! The installers not only removed out old carpet free of charge, but also moved the furniture as they were completing the areas needed to have wood. Overall, I would not only use them again for future flooring endevours, but i would also highly recommend to those I know!!

Everything went smoothly, and they were professional, courteous, and on time. They went the extra mile to do the best job possible. The floor is gorgeous and everyone who sees it says it's beautiful. We highly recommend Mercury Carpet and Flooring and will use them for any future flooring needs.

This is the second time we have used Mercury Carpet for a carpet purchase and installation. Dan Tristan is a great professional who knows his business and will work with his customer. We had gotten a lower quote for the same vinyl tile installation from another kitchen and flooring retailer, and Dan met the quote, because we were doing the carpet as well, and were repeat customers. Unfortunately, we had a snafu with the wrong product being ordered, and I caught the installers before the first tile was glued down. Due to this happening right before Thanksgiving weekend, it took over a week to get the correct tile shipped. However, Dan kept me informed the entire time, and took full responsibility for the mistake. Because there was still work being done in our bathroom, it probably was for the best that it took longer, so that my other contractors were not walking on or having to protect my new flooring. When they finally installed the vinyl tile, they did a great job, and did a great job putting in in new quarter-round around the perimeter of the floor. Even primed only, with exposed wood corners, it looked better than the quarter-round the original builders had done! After the bedroom carpet was installed and the furniture put back in place, I noticed a small spot on the carpet, right on the side of the bed where my husband gets in/out of bed, that was "crunchy". It wasn't something that I could just cut out with scissors, or it would have left a noticeable divot in the carpet. So, I called Dan. He came out the next day to look at it, and then came back a couple of days later with some solvent spot remover. That did not take care of the problem, so he had his installer guys come by, and they did some intricate surgery on it with some carpet trimming shears to delicately remove the crunchy area, which appeared to be a small manufacturer's defect where the latex backing had come through to the front side of the carpet. Dan stayed on this until I was satisfied, and made sure that I was happy with the outcome. He was prepared to contact the carpet manufacturer to remedy the situation if he couldn't. The spot is no longer crunchy and you cannot see where it was fixed. We are in the process of looking at our next home improvement project, and will probably be visiting Mercury Carpet again to select carpet for our extra bedroom/office. Three-peat customers!

The tile removal and carpet installation was very timely and all went as planned. George Tristan at Mercury Carpet was very nice, professional, and accommodating to my needs since I was doing a relatively large home update with different schedules to adhere to. I appreciate the services that they provided, and yes I would use them again.

They were great to work with, the only problem that I had was that the flooring that they recommended, was very price competitive and it was okay, it was just that it was not as hard a surface as I had before. When I got the puppy, he decided to dig holes on the floor, so I need a harder floor. I haven't gotten back to them to do the reflooring. I was very pleased with their service, I was very pleased with their sales people, and I didn't realize the difference in the vinyl when I picked it out. They didn't push me to buy something, I think it was just a mistake on both our parts. They were really nice to work with, their price was competitive, and they went out of their way to do some extra work that they didn't charge me for. I was very pleased with what they did.

Service and product was wonderful! ON time with arrival and super easy to work with. We love our new carpet in both rooms. Would definitely use again! :)

My sales person was John, he was very polite & professional. The installers were prompt, the job was beautiful, they were very tidy and hauled off the old carpet and pad. After the install I had special request, an added extra. John came by my house that same day and made arrangements for my request, no extra charge. I know there are a lot of choices out there for carpeting, but when you shop, please take into consideration supporting our local business folks. These guys have been around a long time, that in itself speaks volumes. Stellar job !!!

They were good.We had some problems going on the same time and they worked with us around that. They were half way of putting the carpet in and they stopped. They worked with the floors and they came back and did their stuff so that we could do the floors. They finished putting the rest of the carpet in and straightened up the stuff that they did. They did a lot of work coordinating with what was happening at that time. They worked with us during the time that we were having this other issue and I was really happy with that.

I was very happy with the service provided. Dan came over to give us an estimate. He was very patient and listened to our needs. He suggested a slightly lower level carpet based on how long we needed it for. The installers were punctual, courteous and very efficient. They moved the furniture very carefully. Overall it was a great experience with no hassle at all.

Visited the showroom and picked out the carpet and pad in less than an hour. The showroom had a good selection and Dan Tristan was courteous and helpful. Dan later stopped by my house and measured and provided a final price. I ordered the carpet and once it arrived set up an appointment for a Saturday installation. The two installers arrived later than I was originally told and although I was also told it was a one day install, near the end of the day I could tell they weren't going to finish. They suggested they would come back Monday to finish even though the part of the house they hadn't completed was a mess. Since that was unacceptable to wait two more days to get the process completed I asked them to come back on Sunday. They arrived on time on Sunday and finished up with a much more determined pace. Another complication was that when Dan originally measured the house, he left out an entire room from the calculation. So they also had to order more carpet for that discrepancy. It ended up increasing the previously set price by several hundred dollars. All in all, I was satisfied with the quality of the carpet and pad and of the final look of the install. And although there were those issues I mentioned, the problems were handled generally in a professional manner. So although the experience could have been better, I was ultimately satisfied with the provider's service.

Dan is one of the best service people in the industry, He has made multiple trips out to the house to help us select the right flooring and put up with a lot of mind changing on our part. Offers a fair price and from a service perspective I have found none that compare, I will definitely be using Dan and Mercury carpet.

They were great. They were there when they said they would be there. The installers are very professional and courteous. Everything was done on time. I would definitely recommend them. They were wonderful, top notch.

I worked with John Namen at Mercury Carpets and this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had during the various remodeling projects I have been doing at my house. Initially contacted John in Feb 2013 but due to health issues had to push off this project but John put no pressure on this sale and was willing to work with me whenever I contacted him. John's knowledge in the flooring business is A+ and the quality and price of their products is the best that I've found. I located Mercury Carpets via Angie's List and was somewhat apprehensive when I initially saw their store front, but once I walked through the front door I knew that this business would have all the quality and options I might possibly want. John's knowledge was very instrumental in helping my wife and myself decide what direction we wanted to go with the flooring and John was very patient and helpful in giving us all possible scenarios....and when the work was completed we were very happy with the decision we made. I would also like to highly commend the floor installation crew that came to our house; their names are James Hooper and his brother-in-law Timmy Green. This project took 6 days for the tear out and then installation and this crew was the most cheerful and conscientious workers I have ever had do a project in my house and had so much trust in them that had no problem leaving them alone in the house working when I had to go out for errands. They were very detailed oriented, an example of this was the floor installation around our brick fireplace....I have seen a friends house that was just floored up to the brick and then had molding installed but Hooper took the trouble to actually cut a recess between the bottom of the brick and slab so the flooring could be installed up to and under the brick to really give it quality look. In summary I would give my highest recommendation to any one that has any flooring needs to work with John Namen at Mercury Carpets and if any hardwood flooring is done that Hooper also gets my highest nod.

Couldn't be happier with?our choice in picking Mercury flooring and here's why !? :).... We did?do our homework, went into other flooring stores in Jacksonville, also asked everyone, everywhere we went for recommendations,?and even worked with Home Depot and Lowe's at some point. Bottom line, no one could match our flooring like Mercury since our original wood flooring in other areas of the house was no longer made, no one could have been more helpful, finding a match for our existing flooring and no one made us feel good about the installers till we walked into Mercury Flooring.?We DID NOT want our flooring installers to be sub-contracted out.?We wanted them to work direct as we had problems with outside contractors in our Tampa and Miami?homes. The?crew arrived everyday, were so polite and professional, did an incredible job, and even the owner, Dan, came by to see how things were coming along midway throughout. It was a wonderful experience. ?We just pray that all our other projects ahead of us go as smoothly as the one with?Mercury.?After problems in Tampa and Miami homes, our faith has been renewed that there are still some really great companies out there that do great work, have great customer service, and take care of you right to the end.??:)

Outside of store looks small, inside is amazingly large! Knowledgeable, helpful staff walked us thru all the options that met our criteria and budget. Will definitely shop there again when we need more carpeting.

Extremely satisfied.? Sales and installation personnel were pleasant and prompt.? Price and quality were competitive. Always prefer to give business to local retailer rather than a large chain.
