They did a good job.

dVisited Mercury carpet on Saturday and met with Dan.? Reviewed samples and selected 8.? Dan set up a home visit the following week.? Great first impression as Dan was on time and showed up with additional samples he thought we might like.? Dan measured the area and emailed us a proposal.?? We took a few days to decide.? Believe it our not we did not get a pressure sales call from Mercury carpet.? After verifying cost etc...we decided to book Mercury Carpet.? Set up a time and date.? Great first impression the two man crew was on time and very professional.?? The job took 5 days...started at 9:00 Monday and finished 3:30 Friday.? The crew was on time every day.? The crew cleaned up daily which helped us as we did not leave the house during the job. The only advise I'd give is cover anything you don't want to dust off, as the dust from tile removal was quite extensive.? Nice touches include installing felt pads on all furniture as well as providing a new sweeper which the crew used to clean the entire floor prior to completing the job.? Overall our floors are beautiful and the the job was on time and on schedule. ? Now the best part the crew ended up with overage and Dan adjusted the final bill. ? I waited a few days to post this as we were still looking over the floors.? I've got no complaints and would happily hire Mercury carpet..

I was contacted by George who works at Mercury Carpet for a carpet installation in my home. I am in the military stationed in San Diego, CA, but my home is in Jacksonville, FL. I was very appreciative of his knowledge and willingness to work with me. They even provided a military discount (i'm not sure if that's standard but it helped). I was sent photos and color swabs of the different types of carpet, was allowed to select, and was even provided his expert opinion. We communicated via phone and email. I was able to pay by credit card and he worked with my property manager and the tenants to do the installation. The carpet was laid within 5 days of payment (had to schedule the best time with the tenant). Mercury Carpet personnel were honest, caring, and professional. I got only half the house done but plan to get the rest complete. I went to Angie's' list to find them (and told them so) and I will definitely do business with them again.

I have used them twice. The second job in 2011 was removal and replacement of conventional carpet. The installation was absolutely beautiful and done very quickly. The first job in 2010 was for woven sea grass. I was in a time crunch to have damaged carpet removed and replaced. They were very responsive, their price was lower than the competitor quotes I obtained, and they did a great job. There was initially some question on the installation as the sea grass can be out of square when purchased, moves when installed and shows if it's not totally square. They came back and made the carpet more square along a couple of edges. I would definitely recommend them.

All of the staff (sales, installation) were easy to deal with and worked hard to get things done quickly. Works installed the flooring in one day, and completely cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job and I have no problem recommending them to others. The work was done professionally.

Business owner was immediately available in shop to discuss my needs. I had found a carpet sample in another store and wanted that product; he explained that different vendors sell the same product under different names, so while he was sure he had the product, he could not find it under same name. He called the vendor and cross-referenced the names to find the right one, then checked it with me (brought it by my office). When he measured the room at my house, he let me know that I would pay significantly less if I chose not to carpet the closet (since I would then have to pay for the remaining width of the piece which would not be used). I chose to carpet the closet anyway, but appreciated the information up front. Work was done beautifully and on time and he and his employees were a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent job. Arrived on time, very professional and moved all the furniture. The job looked great and they finished easily in one day. Another company told me it would take 3 days.

Purchased Tactesse nylon carpet. Carpet was very nice, installation was professional, although the carpet was not delivered to Mercury by the manufacturer until later two weeks later than estimated. The installers moved all the furniture, took out the old carpet, and put in the new carpet. They then put back all the furniture. There were four installers, so work progressed quickly.
