We decided to purchase Plantation Shutters for our new home and began researching providers several months prior to the completion date of the home. Using Angie's List we searched for quality providers that were local. This would enable us to observe the quality of their products prior to ordering. In the beginning of our process we were unsure of whether to select either poly or wood shutters. (We have poly in our current home and like them but also preferred the look of wood). After contacting Mastercraft Shutters and Blinds and talking to the owner and builder (Ivan) we decided to accept his offer and visit his production facility. He discussed the construction of both poly and wood shutters with us and showed us completed samples of both products (if you don't wish to visit his facility he will happily bring his samples to your home). While we were still deciding we requested that he come to our new home (during construction) and measure the windows. He did this about 3-4 weeks prior to our closing date. He also brought samples that he placed in our windows so we could make the best choice. We then decided to select the wood plantation shutters. The day following the closing on our home Mastercraft arrived exactly at the scheduled time and installed the shutters. The install was perfect and the shutters are absolutely beautiful. Ivan oversaw the installation (as he does each one) and insured that each shutter was perfectly placed and adjusted. In summary, Mastercraft Shutters provides a very high quality product that is meticulously crafted and installed. They are very easy to work with and highly accommodative. They always arrive on time and do exactly what they say they will. We are very happy that we found this company.

My neighbor told me about this company and we had them come to our home and give us an estimate on our windows and we could not believe the incredible low price. After just three weeks the shutters were ready to be installed, thirteen windows and one sliding glass door. The shutters were painted to match our walls and what a fantastic job they did on matching the paint to our walls. I was told that it would take about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to install, but they were finished within an hour and half. I can not wait to show them off to my family and friends and tell them how wonderful Mastercraft Shutters are. I am looking forward to purchase additional shutters from them.

Ivan returned my phone call right away. He came out to give an estimate and measured the windows. A couple weeks later he returned to install the shutters which only took 10 minutes. The shutters are beautiful. This is a great company. He is friendly, punctual, and professional. I have already hired him again for more shutters.

Ivan called in a little less than two weeks. He came out with his assistants, and they installed the shutters in a very timely manner. Ivan and his employees did a great job and were very polite. My kitchen looks great!!

Ivan is wonderful. Very professional and courteous. His prices are very fair and his shutters are beautiful and well made. I ordered a few from him and year and a half ago and am now in the process of having more made. He responds quickly and installs them himself. I enjoy working with him.

Fantastic! What a great company to work with, From order to installation only took approximately 1 week when all of the other companies were quoting 5 to 6 weeks. The design suggestions turned out perfect. The shutters we needed were for a highly visual area and they couldn't look better. We would happily recommend this company to anyone who wants the job done right, fast and for a fair price.

Working with Ivan was fabulous. He came to our house while it was still under construction to measure and came back the day after closing to install. Working with him was the easiest part of my move. He showed up on time for both of our appointments. He called a couple of times from our measurement meeting to install to make sure that we were on schedule. I never felt like I was forgotten. He was very courteous and professional. You can tell that he really knows his product and market, and his product is great! I received bids from three other companies. They were all pushing poly shutters and they all looked and felt plasticy to me. Ivan's shutters have a much nicer look and feel to them, because they are wood. And I was able to get the look I wanted, one solid piece of wood for each window with no break or fold in between. We did go with poly for the small window in our bathroom, since that is such a humid room of the house, but I really can't tell the difference until I get right up to it. The feel and movement of the shutter is of course different. I am very happy with my experience and purchase and plan to work with Ivan again once I decide what to do with the rest of my windows. Whether I decide to get more shutters or just blinds, I feel that I can trust Ivan's opinion and that he will do the job right.

We recently had plantation shutters installed on our living and dining room windows, French doors and the sidelight to our front door. We are extremely pleased with the result. The custom made shutters fit perfectly and provide us with a much more current look and more privacy than our than our former window coverings. Ivan took the measurements and promised delivery within 3-4 weeks. We were quite pleasantly surprised when he called two weeks later to install the shutters. Ivan was very knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive to our questions; he gave us good advice on our selections. He was right on the mark with his timelines, and the team he brought to the installation was courteous, professional and respectful of our home. When Ivan came to complete the installation, we were so pleased with the result that we ordered additional shutters for the bedroom in order to complete the look across the front of the house. We would definitely recommend this company to others...in fact, we have already done so. We have received many compliments on these window coverings.

Ivan showed up, took measurements, gave a estimated time of delivery,and showed up on the day agreed to install. Took all of 45 minutes to install 7 shutter panes. Beautiful all wood shutters. The quality is exceptional! In fact, after initial install we got him to make 2 more panes. He gave a timeline and just waiting for them to be installed. You will not go wrong getting your shutters from Ivan at Mastercraft shutters and blinds.

Ivan, the owner of the company and designer of the shutters, is a mechanical engineer who knows everything about his business. He is very friendly and completely trustworthy. He is often accompanied by his wonderful daughter Daniela, who helps with everything. I just took Ivan's advice and my house looks gorgeous. Almost everything comes pre-assembled at their factory in Jacksonville, so that the entire installation took about 2 hours. This included the removal of my old drapes and blinds, as well as filling in the holes in the wall left by the old window treatments. A team of 3 people came for the installation, including Ivan, Daniela, and another helper. Ivan himself oversaw the exact placement of each shutter. He made sure they were properly aligned and made any minor adjustments required, although the vast majority of the shutters fit perfectly without needing any adjustments. The quality of the workmanship was simply superb. These shutters are so well made that it doesn't surprise me that they come with a lifetime guarantee. I chose the "clear view" design so that no vertical bar shows on the inside surface of the shutters. This is slightly more expensive than the design with the interior vertical bar, but I think it is well worth the extra money. These shutters will last a life time, so get them done just the way you want them. I highly recommend Ivan and his company to anyone who wants beautiful window coverings. I was lucky to find them. They serve the entire state of Florida and are very busy, and it's obvious why. Even their price was about $1000 less than another quote I had for shutters of lesser quality. Why go with anyone else?

They did a good job. I had an issue with one the doors and they came back out and corrected it. They were very knowledgeable and advised me of the correct doors to use, whereas another company was not going to use the proper doors. They were friendly and as neat and clean as they could be on this type of job. I would use them again.The owners are very experienced, informative and knowledgeable.

Amazing experience. Ivan did everything he said he would in the exact time frame promised. He builds all of his shutters in his shop and the quality is so far above everything we looked at that there is no comparison. Save yourself a lot of time and money...call them first.

The entire experience was great! I visited several businesses before deciding to have my blinds made by Mastercraft, and I made the right choice. Ivan, the owner, took me on a tour of his workshop, explaining the many options available. I brought a sample of my wood floor and asked if he could match it. "No problem." We set up a date for Ivan to measure my windows, and he arrived on time with a couple of samples, to give me an idea how each would look in my house. We settled on my designs and cost, and the time it would take him to make all the pieces. I called Ivan a few days before the designated installation day, just to check if there were any problems, and he confirmed that he was on track to be ready for installation on the day we had planned. On that day, he arrived with a helper, and quickly installed all eight shutters. He explained how to clean them, and what to do if any of them ever needed adjusting, but in the 11 months since installation, all I have needed to do is dust them. The blinds are beautiful, perfectly fit to my windows, and perfectly matched to my floors, as I requested. I have already recommended Ivan to friends, and will certainly return to his workshop if I ever need blinds for another house in this area.
