Massey Services of Jacksonville (Duval)

One star is too high. We hired this company. We agreed to a set amount. They attempted to charge a fee on our card that wasn't owed. On top of that we just had our driveway and sidewalk power washed by another company. When Massey came along their Employee left chemicals up and down our newly power washed sidewalk and all the way down the road to another customers home. His footprints are on the sidewalk. We attempted to speak to the Manager but to no avail. He was nasty. Sloppy work, bad customer service. They are no shows when they told us they would be here. I do not recommend this company

I have never written a bad review for anything, however felt compelled to inform others about this one. I signed up for a year of service which was a Monthly guarantee that my yard would be taken care of. The service was very poor and I ended up replacing 5 pallets worth of grass, because of sedge weeds. Also, on two occasions the company claimed to perform services and did not. I work from home and have a motion recording in four locations around my yard. I have video of neighborhood dogs chasing squirrels on the supposed dates of service by no service technician. I contacted Jason and Debbie and they just sent the same person who did not perform the service. Don't pay this company to do any work. Look elsewhere

Pathetic. We made an appointment and got an email confirming our appointment - and then poof - nothing. The time of the appointment came and went. We waited for a half-hour then called Massey back. Some dingbat answered the phone and assured us she'd find out what happened and call us back. She did not. That was on Friday. On Tuesday we called Massey again and were told nobody could help us because all the supervisors and managers were in a company meeting. We called corporate - and again - nobody could help because everybody was in a company meeting. Apparently when it comes to integrity, showing up for appointments, and keeping promises, their guys don't do that.

Purchased a Quarterly Pest Prevention Agreement to have our exterior treated for roaches, ants, spiders, snakes and wasps.

They do a very good job. They are professional, punctual and responsive.

They do good work. I would recommend them.

I feel that they have been pretty effective. Over the last couple years I have only seen a couple bugs here and there.

My experience with them is great, they are terrific. They are here on time, they're knowledgeable and respectful. I will continue my service with Massey.

They do termite bonds and pest prevention. I have used them for all of their services but it got be a little expensive. I use them for outside pest control. My experience with them has been very positive.

How did it go? Lets start with the pest first. Pest man came out to do the intial treatment, but was unable to finish due to the rain. He stated he would call back to reschudule. Two weeks go by and I heard nothing, so I call. He forgot! So he came out two days later to finish up my initial treatment and went ahead and did the follow up, 04/14/11. Now this is a quarterly service, so you would think, three months later they would be back out. It's 07/25/11, two weeks after and they call to say they are coming out. Granted my on-line account states next service was for 07/05/11. This was my pest complaint. I also still had small bugs in my house I never had before and I don't think they did the inside of my garage! The lawn/shrub part of my complaint is worse! I told them at the begining to please call so that I could unlock the back gate. They never did. Lawn man comes out, sprays and leaves my statement. I didn't know they were coming out. I called back to reschedule so that they could do the back yard. Well they said they would do it when they come out to do the shrubs next month. I don't them that's fine, but now my fertilization will be off, so they said we will just come out later next month for your lawn, I said ok. Well the next month for my lawn was June. June 30th comes and goes and no lawn guy! I call July 1st and ask my lawn treatment wasn't done. Well, they stated the lawn guy claims he was there on the 30th, his "ticket" says so. I didn't have statement hanging from my door or those nice little lawn signs saying they sprayed. I said he lied and I wasn't paying for the service that didn't happen! Again, they didn't even call for a second time to tell me they were coming so that I can unlock my gate. The manager of the lawn part of Massey came out Saturday the 8th and did the lawn treatment. I was floored when the lawn guy lied and stated he was at my house!! After the manager came and went I finally noticed some browing of my weeds, never did before, so who knows if the lawn guy actually sprayed! They have done nothing but cause me more stress then what I want. I don't want a pest/lawn service I need to keep an eye on to make they are coming when they are suppossed to and doing what they say they did! I cancelled them after only four months of signing on. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MASSEY!!

We like everything about them and we haven't had any problems with them. They come out when we call and they are always on time. They are nice people.
