State Certified Contractor specializing in the patio enclosure industry. We offer affordable financing for all of our projects and all projects are built by our employees, not subcontractors, insuring you of a top quality job the first time.
Do not use this company. We had such a bad experience I don't know where to begin. There is a lack of communication between their office and homeowners after you sign the contract. They take a 40% deposit and basically get to you when they get to you. You get constant lip service and no information as to when your project will begin or be completed. Our project was over 5 weeks late being completed and several weeks beyond that for guttering and dog doors to be corrected. This company does They not meet contract completion dates and worse yet they do not follow the building plans. After the crews leave it takes weeks for them to come back and finish problems. We had to do all coordination between contractors even though they had the contractors name phone and e-mail. The team that built the screen enclosure blocked our driveway with their trucks multiple times so we could not park or get out and left tools all over our furniture and rug in our lanai over Christmas and New Years. They also ruined new sod laid in our front yard and tried to claim our paver guy did the damage. Our paver guy/landscaper laid the new sod and we forwarded pictures of the damage to them. The whole process has been aggravating. I have shared our experience with other neighbors and friends so they do not get caught up in this nightmare also.

Once all the permitting was completed, very nice. Lifetime capped our current patio, the supports, then added the jumped roof. After that, they finished up with the screens, kick panels, and screen door. As an aside, when we re-roofed the house last summer, Stonebridge commented on how well the jumped roof of the lanai was installed.

Lifetime Enclosures just completed a sun room addition to our home. We are very pleased with the quality of the product, the quality of the workmanship, and the timeliness of installation. The installers Mike and Brian went above and beyond, working in extreme heat, to satisfactorily complete the job. They were always on time, courteous, took minimal breaks, did excellent cleanup every single day and also at the end. Our room is fantastic!

I contacted Lifetime Enclosures for a quote to screen in my in ground pool. The salesman took a look at me and decided that I couldn't afford to screen in my pool. He then had me guess how much it would cost and then laughed at me condescendingly over the price. I asked twice for a quote, meaning written, and he just kept telling me that it would be too much. He then recommended that I buy a fence from Pinch A Penny and stated that I was "young" so I could clean the leaves out of the pool myself. Alot of this condescending behavior was done in front of my wife too. I wish I would have read the reviews on this company on this site before I scheduled them and wasted my time.

Installation team (Gavin & Zac) arrived on time, were really professional, did the installation and left the area clean. Quality materials, the framing is substantial. We received good advice when we purchased the installation (approx 6 weeks ago) with regard to door placement and cross sections, very happy with the results.

I would definitely NOT recommend Lifetime Enclosures to anyone who is in the market for either a screen enclosure or a sunroom, and would strongly encourage them to consider other companies in the area, even if it costs a little more. We spent about $20,000 for the construction of a sunroom and although I was impressed by the hard working crew who were dedicated to building a quality structure, I cannot say the same about the office crew or management of Lifetime. When we spoke with the salesman who came to our home we most definitely told him we were planning to install both heat and AC. We were told that we should do that AFTER the final inspection by the county. When the county inspector arrived, he asked if we were going to install AC, and of course we told him the truth (who in their right mind would install a sunroom in Florida and not have AC???) He then informed us that Lifetime applied for the wrong level permit, which does not approve AC/heat, and the room did not pass inspection. It took us over four months to get this mess straightened out ourselves, with no help whatsoever from Lifetime Enclosures. They simply denied that they knew we were going to install AC. Then the final straw occurred when one of the sliding windows in our sunroom developed a serious crack starting at the frame and slowly continued to spread. I immediately called Lifetime and was told that they would not cover window replacement because we installed a light tinting on our windows. They absolved themselves of all responsibility, even though we?re still under one year?s warranty. I asked if someone would at least come out and look at it, and there was absolutely no response from the snarky ?customer non-service? gal who works there. She was rude beyond belief. I continued to call several more times and finally gave up. They would not return our calls. We therefore made arrangements OURSELVES to have the glass replaced in the window, and still have not heard back from Lifetime, nor do we expect to. Our experience shows they do not stand behind their product or their warranty. As far as we are concerned Lifetime Enclosures has the absolute worst customer service of any establishment we have ever dealt with. I would not trust anything they say. They care nothing about the customer once they have your money.

Contracted with Lifetime in April 2014. The project was finished in August 2014. It took a bit longer than we anticipated, however some of that was due to our schedule and being out of town. Lee and crew were wonderful. We gave them a challenge with our odd shaped configuration. Lee and his crew took the time to figure out each angle and the end result is stunning! You can tell they put a lot of effort into the detail and they were meticulous about making sure things were done right. Our installation crew was wonderful! Our only issues were a bit of a lack of communication on the part of the office/administration in scheduling/follow up, and keeping us informed. On a number of occasions we had to call or email more than once to get someone to respond. Also we were told repeatedly that they would coordinate with Gutter Helmet as we had their product installed on the side of the house that the enclosure was being added to. They did not contact Gutter Helmet and a couple of weeks after the project was finished we contacted Gutter Helmet on our own to come out and install new product on the gutter side of the enclosure. That was disappointing. One last thing - the final draw was charged to us before contacting us to ensure that we were totally happy with the job. That is not a good business practice. But overall, we are happy with the enclosure and would recommend Lifetime Enclosures to anyone looking for this type of work.

It took several weeks for the awning to get here and I was the one to call Lifetime to inquire about it, in the meantime I received a call asking if I was still interested in purchasing the awning. I told them the awning was paid in full and I'm waiting for them to scheduled an installation date. When the installers came, they did not have a ladder on the truck and had to reschedule a date, When it was finally installed the installer saw a tear or hole in the weather breaker, he noted it on the invoice and said when a new one come in they would be out to install it. From May 2013 to Sep 2013 and after several calls to the office, they thought it was installed and they kept promising they would take care of it. I finally had to file a complaint with the better business bureau, only after they told BBB that it was installed and that I was satisfied, which was not true so I rejected it. I talked again with Lifetime Enclosures, they realized it had not been installed that the product was there at the office. It was installed Oct 15,2013.

An associate came by on Feb 19th to measure our patio and give us the schpeel on screen and window upgrades. (which we did). The total came to $1,366.00. The associate said we had to pay 40% down for materials, so we wrote a check for $545 and anxiously awaited for our new enclosed patio. Cut to today 4/6/2013 and we still do not have an enclosed patio. We have called several times requesting updates or answers for that matter to no avail. My neighbor just received a quote 4/5/2013 for a screened in patio from an independent contractor and today 4/6/2013 had it installed? Sure it was just a screened in patio without removable windows but 1 day is all it took! Where are the "Materials" LifetimeEnclosures use come from? I wish I read the Angies List review the individual posted about having to wait 5 months, I have a feeling I will have to wait as well and would never had requested service if I was aware of situations like this.

Hello [member name removed], All of us at Lifetime Enclosures strive to make sure that all customers have a pleasant experience and I want to thank you for taking the time to write your review. You mentioned your neighbor had a screen wall (without windows) installed very quickly by an independent contractor. The enclosure we did for you included custom size vinyl windows, which were completed within the time frame established by the agreement you signed. Your vinyl window enclosed patio also carries a 2 year warranty on the workmanship where your neighbors may or may not. In regards to your question concerning materials; the windows are custom manufactured by a reputable window manufacturer to the design specifications. Our goal is to provide the best quality products and services at a fair price and stand behind our products with a warranty you can count on. My hope is that you continue to enjoy your new outdoor area for many, many years to come. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to build your enclosure. Please call me personally if there is anything I can help you with in the future. Thank you Jeff Briar President

I have a life time enclosure screen porch that I wished to have insalation added to the roof. The salesman came and reviewed my options, new insalation, converting to a florida room, ceiling fans and as far as I can tell was upfront with me about costs and benefits. I has having a new roof added to the house and they worked with that company so that the joining areas could be done correctly, a problem that had existed with the previous roof joint. I have a nice new insalated roof the the screen porch which keeps it a bit cooler, and it does not leak! The cost is what I had expected, and I now understand why I dont have a ceiling fan.

Save yourself a lot of frustration and never hire these people! I originally signed the contract in April and the work was not completed until September. I did make one design change in the beginning which caused a delay, but 5 months???? The county inspector had to come out 3 times before he approved the work done by the concrete contractor Lifetime hired. The inspector even told me it looked like the contractor just "didn't care" about the work he was doing. Lifetime did not communicate with me at all. I would be expecting workers to show up and after several days and no workers I would end up calling Lifetime to see what happened. After this going on for 4 months, I said something about getting my deposit back I was told "we are way beyond that point." Even the company putting in the pavers were astonished at the lack of professionalism shown by Lifetime. Dealing with them was a nightmare.

As stated, this company was recomended to us by a fellow member in the "Premier Home Solutions Group. That member (whose work, professionalism and courtesy proved to be EXCELLENT, by the way) was both surprised and dismayed to learn that their fellow association member's actions we so non customer friendly. They were embarrassed to having made the referral and recomendation. The referring member advised us to alert LifeTime Enclosures that we were being referred to them by a fellow association member (and to name them) and that we would receive great service as that is what the association did for fellow member customers, etc. That could not be further from what actually occured!! The young lady who answered the phone when we called did not at all seem impressed that we were a referral. Additionally, inexplicably, she was "borderline" rude and condecending, stating that since there were only two windows to be quoted .... there would be an $85 charge for the estimate! (Incidentally, we had three other vendors estimate the two windows and NO ONE ELSE wanted an up front fee to quote the work) However, we should likely thank them as we ended up with an extremely professional, competitive contractor who performed the work timely and without issue. Karma may be further at work here as well. We have two aging screen enclosures that could use quite a lot of repair and updating. Unlike windows, this would appear to be a major focus of this business. Had this company been just a little more courteous and a little less greedy, they might have ended up with that significant piece of work as well as the windows.

I went to their booth at the Home and Patio Show and set up an appointment to get an estimate for a screen room. I set it for Friday. On Thursday, Phil called, at 7:00pm, and left a message to confirm the appointment, as I didn't answer the phone because I was eating dinner. I called the number back he left and it was recorded message that gave you options. Option #3 was to confirm the appointment, which I pressed. The machine told me to hold while I transfer the call. Well, once I got transferred, it goes to say the call can't be completed and there was an error and then gave me an error message with a number. I tried twice and got the same response. The office hours of LifeTime Enclosure is 8 - 5. Well, Friday came and my appointment was scheduled for 1pm. I waited.....until 1:30 and called them. A lady answered first and I told her I had an appt for 1pm and no one showed up. I also told her that Phil called at 7pm and that I called back to try to confirm, but something was wrong with phone system. She placed me on hold. Two minutes later a man picks up the line and says his name and how he could help me. I told this man the same story I the lady that answered the phone the first time. He places me on hold and yet another man answers the line, I think his name was Dan. Dan asked what he can help me with. Well now I am frustrated and have to tell my story a third time. Dan goes on to say, well that's why we called to get the appointment confirm to make sure you will be home. I told him I tried to confirmed it, twice and that your phone line was not working properly. Dan says that Phil is probably at lunch. I told him, if you are confirming an appt, I think you should do it during your normal business hours, 8 - 5, and not at 7pm like Phil did, so that someone can call back and get a human on the phone. So I pretty much wasted a day off waiting for them not to show up. So LifeTime Enclosure WILL NOT, EVER, get my business. If you can't keep this appt, I would be scared to see what happens if I sign something for them to do the work. It's ALWAYS good to make a good first impression. LifeTime Enclosure did not do that!

We should have known from the beginning that these guys were not dependable. We had an appointment for 10 am on a weekday - which was a no-show. If we had been smart, we would have walked away at that point just for failure to do what they said they would do. . But they called back and begged for a chance to bid on our business. After a couple of more scheduling changes (made by them, not us) - we finally got someone out to bid a screen enclosure. We received a written estimate from their sales person and a separate bid for pavers from a contractor recommended by Lifetime. As the salesman left our home - he told us to call him back and he would match any competitors bid because he intended to be the low bidder for this job and earn our business. The following week, we signed an agreement with Lifetime Enclosures for a screen enclosure at the price they gave us in their estimate. We also signed a contract with their recommended paver contractor and gave deposits to both. Later that day, we got a call from Lifetime Enclosures indicating that they could not honor the price they had estimated and put on the agreement. The salesman had gone to "the boss" and the boss would not approve it as written. In fact, they needed to have $1900 and change more than the price on the agreement. This came complete with sobbing about how the boss was going to fire him and he was going to have to eat his commission - typical stereotypical used car salesman baloney. As far as we are concerned - this is classic "bait and switch". We have walked away and refused to allow this kind of a fraud to be perpetrated on us. In the meantime, we have a contract with a paver guy - and we are obligated to honor that even though Lifetime Enclosures has reneged on the agreement they made for the screen enclosure. DO - stay away from Lifetime Enclosures unless you enjoy being sold a screen enclosure the same way you would be sold a used car by a sleazy salesman. DO NOT - sign separate contracts for pavers and screen enclosure unless you are 100% sure that you are going to get what you think you are agreeing to when you sign on the dotted line. You can be held accountable for one even if the other does not work out. The bottom line - Lifetime Enclosures cannot be trusted to do what they say they will do.
Description of Work: We did not have any work done because within hours of signing the agreement, Lifetime Enclosures came back to us and tried to charge us $1900 more than their estimate and the amount in the signed agreement.

The construction was good. The field manager was not dependable, nor prompt in responding to me. When we had issues with leaks after the work was completed, it took 1-2 weeks for them to respond back to us. Finally, someone came out to address the leak. It still wasn’t right and we called again, but they took quite some time to respond. The quality of the work wasn’t the issue; it was the lack of PR.

Had a few issues with county permits which dragged the project out two ;months beyond promised time-line. Roof line and shingles match. Sub-contractors were top-notch. Price included all electrical work. Jim (project manager) did a great job while following up on my concerns. All contractors cleaned up after themselves daily. The company did not request final payment until county permit office completed final inspection. I'd hire them again.
