Lewis Blinn, Contractor

Lew Blinn and his team were recommended to us by our kitchen design firm (Kitchen Design Gallery, "KDG"). The experience of working with these two firms together was very, very good. From early on in the project, Lew, along with John from KDG, visited our home and did walk-thru's, to make sure everything had been thought through adequately in preparation for our full kitchen remodel. Because we were entirely changing the kitchen footprint by incorporating a new island, it was necessary to move plumbing, install new lights, and generally re-think the entire layout. Lew brought good insights and expertise to the job and we were very satisfied with the pre-construction work. The process of construction itself was also very well done and very professional. Lew's team, led by his foreman, Hector, were timely, polite, told us what to expect, and stayed on track on the timeline they laid out. The work performed was well done. When an unexpected glitch would arise, they were quick to address the issue. I was very impressed that they made sure throughout the entire process that we were happy with the work being performed, and were willing to address all of the small details to get everything right. It was meaningful to me when they told me they ask their CUSTOMERS to make a final 'punch list' towards the end of the work, so that they can make sure that absolutely everything the homeowner wants addressed gets done. I was also very thankful that we were able to tack on a handful of side projects that we'd been needing done and hadn't gotten around to find someone to do. Several of these involved the electrician they'd brought in to do the kitchen lighting, and the fact that we could rely on Lew and his team to coordinate those and help with the various details needed was just great - a huge help to us. Lew, Hector, and team, and Susan did a great job and I would definitely work with them again.
