Had a very unfortunate experience with this company. I wasn’t having any luck with my last lawn company, so I contracted with Lawn Doctor at the beginning of July 2024. My lawn was struggling and has only gotten worse ever since, so I decided to cancel my service after having the owner come to look at my lawn. Greg came out to look and basically said “it could be any number of things but it’s probably your sprinklers”. What bothered me the most is he didn’t mention the possibility that the fungicide that his tech had just recently put out, made my lawn turn from bad to worse. Not to mention the very first time they came and serviced my lawn, it was 2 days before a Tropical Storm that dumped over 6 inches of rain and likely washed away any product that was applied to it. Cannot say enough good things about Marcus, who was always there when I had an issue over the phone or via text. But my service tech, Giorgio and the owner, Greg were very rude and didn’t take responsibility for any of their actions, instead blaming me the customer instead. They also refused to give any money back that I had paid in, and instead charged me an additional amount when I told them I wished to cancel my contract, yea that seems fair! My lawn tech, Giorgio even mentioned to my wife, “sometimes it’s best when our customers don’t pay so much attention to the lawn”. Well, I think my lawn photos speak for themselves on the poor job they did. I just hope the damage caused by this company won’t completely ruin a lawn that I have so much time and money invested in.

I work from home and my computer faces the yard, so I could observe his service. We have a fairly large lawn and he was never there for longer than a few minutes. On his website, he claims 100% money back guarantee. This is not true. I also asked him why he was no longer placing the granular fertilizer after the first two months of service. He said, "he changed the color." We previously had a wholesale and retail plant nursery and know what fertilizer looks like in all colors. He did not place any and charged us the full amount. The yard was fairly yellow except for the first two months of service when he applied the granular fertilizer.

We have hired them to spry the front and back lawn for weed and fertilizer. They showed up as we were talking to the next door Nighbor and they skipped the front lawn completely and sprayed spots of the back lawn. They followed up with a second treatment and they claimed to spry the lawn in under 2 min! When we confirmed the owner he claimed that their system spry 3,000 sqf in under 3 min! My recommendation is to search for an honest reliable company to do the work rather than wasting your money with high watered % chemical and shady service!

We fired each other. There was a older nice guy and he was very fair and he believed in doing a really good job. I had him for a couple years. One of the nicest persons I've ever worked with. No high pressure sales, very nice. He sold his company to some young guy. When the service started to deteriorate after the young guy took over. I told him ever since you took over, my yard has not looked very good. I would talk to him about the problems I had in my yard and the ants I had and he would want to charge me new customer prices. It's not just me, I spoke with other people and they were not going to be doing business with Lawn Doctor anymore either.

Lawn Doctor does an amazing job. They make my lawn look so much fuller and weed free. I have not had any problems with them. It's also very nice that they always put up signs that treatment was done.
