Billy did a wonderful job. He really knows what he’s doing and is efficient, courteous and pleasant to deal with. He had to get up on the roof to clear the washer overflow problem. Big job. I couldn't get that old toilet seat off to save my life. He had it off so fast it was scary. Everything works now! I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost since he was here for 2 hours. I also used their $25 off coupon. I highly recommend Kimball Plumbing.

From start to finish, Kimball did an excellent job. They re-piped the entire house and guest house in 3 days. They replaced the 2 holes they had to cut in walls (to reach bathroom pipes) with the original drywall piece duct taped onto the wall. This was a nice touch, and they had told us in advance that this is their practice. One thing I liked was that Kimball uses CPVC throughout (more expensive and higher quality than PVC), when other contractors that I quoted told me that PVC was fine and CPVC was unnecessary. CPVC is important if you run hot water through your pipes for things like showers. Kimball cleaned up very well after the work was done. The two gents who did the work were very careful around the house as well. They did no damage and did not scuff, scrape, or harm anything at all. This was a concern of mine and I was glad to see them handle it well. After cleanup, I found only a few copper fitting pieces scattered on the driveway (no larger than a dime). They were very small pieces and I don't expect anyone to catch absolutely everything when cleaning up, so it was no big deal. I just swept the driveway and that was that. Perhaps the best assurance of good work was other contractors. Since having our home re-piped, we've had 3 other contractors come in and do other services (cabling, electrical, renovations) and all 3, after taking a look under our house, commented on the spectacular plumbing job that was done. One said "I haven't seen a job done that well in years!" Keep in mind that we DID NOT ask them to look at our plumbing, nor did we point it out to them or draw attention to it in any way. These comments came unprompted which has been the best confirmation of good work done. Six months later we've had no issues with the pipes except a sulfur smell in the water in the guest house which is actually due to the water heater and not the pipes. When I called them just now to ask about it, they told me how to fix it myself rather than charging me for a service call. Nice people. Kimball does great work and I'll be using them again as I redo my bathrooms.

This is the second time I've had problems with Kimball Plumbing. I rent my house, so, I can't fire them, but, I would if I could. The most recent event went like this: one of the metal pipes to an outdoor spigot was not screwed into the house (even though Kimball had just replumbed the entire house, they never fixed this), so, I pulled on the hose and the entire pipe broke off under ground. On 3/2/14 Kimball sent a service guy out to fix the pipe. He fixed it, then turned an irrigation line ON - a water line that I've never used in the 5 years I've lived here. Since the day of his service, the line has been leaking 2500 gallons of water per day, according to my JEA report. I called Kimball to come fix the problem, which I thought was still the broken pipe attached to the outdoor spigot. However, while the guys were here, I figured out that the irrigation line was what was causing the problem. I called Kimball and asked them who was going to pay for the 23,000 gallons of water that leaked since their guy turned on the irrigation line. As usual, they denied that it was their problem. They said that it isn't their fault that the irrigation system has a leak. I told them that it didn't have a leak when the irrigation line was turned OFF as it was supposed to be. They wouldn't settle it with me, they said that my landlord would have to pay for the water, which, he probably won't. This company takes no responsibility for their actions. This has been proven on two occasions. They treat me, the "renter", as if I'm a second class citizen, I suppose because I'm not paying the bill and I can't fire them. They are reckless in their work - they leave problems behind them every time they come. Their workers have left cigarette butts in my yard and the receptionist has been downright rude. I hope they're better at dealing with s*** than they are at handling water issues.

The women who answers the phone, Katy, is the owner of the business. She is extremely rude and very unprofessional, of course, When I called the first time to have her tech come out she was as nice as could be but once they were here her attitude changed. I could write a story book of what i just went though with this company. But i am not going to do that all i can say is ...Please my only suggestion is call any other company with good ratings on line, take it from me.. Don't use them! In response to you: No You did not offer me a credit, I told you that i felt it was unfair that i was to be charged for the time it took your employee to locate the clean out, that took over an hour. Not only did I have to call St. Johns county Planning and Zoning department to find the original plumber, then call them and ask where the clean out was so your employee could find it, 3 feet from the door to the right of the house under the window and he was still unable to locate it. My husband ended up going outside and digging and finding the clean out himself. You wanted to charge me for locating the clean out of 1.5 hours, when your employee didn't even locate it, is it not the job of your company and your employees to know these things?? I had to argue with you on the phone for 15 minutes to only receive half of a credit for the time your charged me in locating the clean out...then you tell me that " well I hope your happy you may be the one responsible if he loses his job". You were so unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to me. I didnt dispute any of the other part of the bill. i hope you take a step back and rethink this situation and learn from it. You should never be in a business where you become so rude to your customers. I wish you and your business all the luck.

The scheduled time of arrival was 8:30. I arranged my day around this time. When they didn't arrive, I called their office and spoke to Katy Kimball. She said that "her answering service told her that I was on second call." I asked who gives her answering service orders and she said that she does. So, the short answer is that they have scheduling and communication problems. I called her back and told her that I was upset because i had scheduled my whole day around this appointment. She said that every time she does work for me there are problems. I said, "Yes because you don't communicate and you don't do what you say you're going to do." The last job that they did at my house was replumbing. Katy said that she would call me on a Monday to confirm the Thursday appointment. By Wednesday she hadn't called, so, I thought the job was delayed. Finally I reach her on Thursday morning and she acted like she never told me that she was going to confirm the appointment. She was very rude and has been rude every time I've called them. I would never choose to work with them again.

They found the most noninvasive way to look at the problem first. It was a simple fix but they suggested we look into the wall. They did cut the wall and it was minimal to fix because they did such an excellent job.

I received a response to my inquiry in a timely manner, unlike the first company I called from Angie's List. They performed the repair quickly and with good quality. They even showed up early. The only complaint I have is that they didn't discuss the discount for Angie's List members, and I forgot to ask. I would recommend them.

Excellent-Price was $200 less than other companies. Work was done quickly and professionally.

They were very good and I was so happy with their service. We had a leak in the toilet, they had an advertisement for a new toilet installation for 200$, so I called them they came right out and installed it, I am even happier. They were very professional and then we did call them back because we had a problem with our refrigerator, we have a side by side with the water and the ice backed up under the cabinet and it's too big for me to move but there was water coming out under the cabinet so I called them and they came out and they found out what caused the hole and the water was spraying out and they fixed that. I am extremely happy with their service and the follow up service that we had. I would call them again.

Results were excellent. They came out promptly and gave us a bid which was $200 lower than other companies. Work was completed as scheduled and on time.

Katie and Ronnie provided estimate of $250-$300 to install 3 bathroom faucets and kitchen faucet after granite counter top was installed. I thought this was reasonable compared to other estimates and they had a great response time. I decided to go with another contractor because they were able to perform all the services I needed, rather than just for the plumbing and I preferred dealing with just one person.

I did not use them and their quote was higher than another company. They were pretty professional and overall the experience was good except their price was higher than somebody else; that's why I did not go with them.

Kimball & Ray Plumbing came out when they said they would be here. We had some unusual fixtures to put in and they weren't quite familiar with the newer model things that we had like the steam shower and European toilets that we had, so they had a little bit of difficulty figuring it out but they did work with me and figured it out.There were things taken from the garage when they were here, there was a ratchet missing, and a battery as well.

The water heater quit on us at night when taking showers, of course. I sent a message to Kim, and she called us first thing the next morning at 8:10am. She had someone out to our house in the next hour! The person who came out was very professional, and efficient. I also liked that he made the area nicer than it was before. The pipes were wrapped nicely now, better brackets used, etc. I also have a friend who has used them before in December 2012 who highly recommends them (who is not on Angie's list). I called them based off her recommendation, and the reviews here.

Called them this morning and was told they would be here between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Katie called me at 11:00 and advised the service technician would be at my home by 12:15. He showed up right on time and called first to ensure I was home. He was knowledgeable and professional and completed the small plumbing job within 45 minutes. Additionally, in conversation he shared with me knowledge about PVC, CPVC and connections which I greatly appreciated. The Angie's discount was honored and I'm a very happy customer. Overall, I would recommend this company and would definately use them again.

I had used Kimball and Ray previously and was very impressed overall with the company in every aspect. They're always so pleasant and helpful when I call (Katie is who I talk to). They respond in great time, call when they're on the way, work quickly, cleanly and efficiently. They are honest and charge fair prices. My plumber has been Dennis, who is excellent. They replaced an old toilet for me a couple months ago, and I liked the new toilet so well, I wanted to replace another old one. I purchased a Kohler toilet at one of the big box stores. On this call, the toilet I purchased was defective and had a leak. Thankfully Dennis found the problem and showed me - otherwise, I would have had a real problem down the line with water damage on my floor. I exchanged the faulty toilet at the big box store and Dennis came the next day to put it in. All went perfect and he was completely finished within an hour. He completely cleans up everything - when he leaves, you'd never known he was there. From start to finish, both times I've used this company, they have been perfect. I won't ever call any other plumbing company and would highly recommend them to others.

Company came out and snaked the line, removed a TON of stuff and deduced there was an issue on the landlord side of the sewer pipe that had to be corrected. Saved me a lot of headache. I've been using this company for over 10 years, have always had great service on my homes and two businesses. They are always prompt and provide excellant service. They completed a repipe on our old house ($5500.00) 2500sqft, with 3 bathrooms. Not one wall cut, came throught the attic for everything, Fantastic job and other estimates were for thousands more. On our current house had them install taller comodes, outdoor plumbing for outdoor wet bar/kitchen and new plumbing for sprinkler meter. Great job on all! Would definately utilize their services in the future!!

After much trial and error, I have FINALLY found a plumbing company that is excellent!! From my initial contact with KATIE in the office who was very helpful and courteous, to the plumber, DENNIS, who came to my home and did the work, everything was perfect from start to finish. I did not have to wait long for service, Katie called when Dennis was on his way, he showed up right on time, went right to work, he was skilled and efficient in his work. He even put down tarps through the house to walk on so there was no mess!! Their prices were very reasonable. I wish I had found Kimball & Ray Plumbing before I wasted lots of time and money on a different company who didn't deliver! You will not be disappointed if you choose this company for your plumbing needs!!

Excellent, fast and affordable. I have used them to unclog drains in the past too.
