We decided we didn't feel comfortable with them cleaning our home and got an untrustworthy sense. We were surprised when they said their quote of $60 was based on the two of them coming for 1 hour. It seems they would have rushed through things and based on the interview it didn't seem that they were detailed at all and were just about being efficient and making a quick buck. When I asked her how they cleaned things, I was surprised on their answers. Soap and water for the hard wood floors (leave scum). Nothing special for granite, hardwood floors, no mention of eco friendly. We have glass doors and she said they just clean fingerprints and would occasionally clean the windows entirely. Seemed to me that they would just focus on what was visible and make it look "okay" and not focus on the real sanitation and thorough cleaning duties. I asked if they could wash our bedding each visit and make our bed and they seemed to think that would be a problem since they were only coming for an hour and the laundry cycle wouldn't be complete. I would have to do a lot of prep work before they came to make sure that they could get things done within their time period. I personally expect my housekeeper(s) to be better cleaners than I am. I didn't get this impression with them. Before I moved, I had a housekeeper every week. So far, I haven't found anyone that I am comfortable with and feel would do a quality job. The plus that I would give them is that they contacted me right away and were eager to get something scheduled. They were also very punctual.

First I would like to say that we have been in business for over 20yrs. and still have some customers from when we started. We are very trustworthy. We have keys to most of our customers homes. I feel that's a unfair and very judgmental statement. We have very good references of which you didn't even ask for. You were also told that we would use any product on the floors and counter tops that you wanted. We can't buy every product for our many customers so if they want a specific product they supply it. We didn't say we would use soap on the hardwood, we actually talked about using wet Swiffers that you would have there. I also told you it would be around an hr. but with 2 of us that's 2 hrs. plus we stay until the job is done so it may be over that time. As far as the windows you forgot to mention that they where very high (about 10 feet) and would need a step ladder plus they are on a balcony that was on the 15th floor( I think). Not many people are willing to do windows that size and it's not considered house cleaning that would fall under the job of window washers, but we were willing to do it. I also asked you if it would be alright if we wiped all finger prints on the sliding glass doors and any drool from the dogs each time we went and did the windows once a month and you said that was fine. This was to be a bi-weekly service. Also, about the bedding, the only prep. work would have been stripping the bed and putting it in the washing machine. As far as rushing we went to your apt. on a Sat. morning while you were still out walking so we didn't want to tie up your morning and figured we would make giving the estimate short. So I guess from that you assumed that we would rush the cleaning job. You may want to let someone do the job first before you start judging about their job performance or if they are trustworthy rather then relying on your senses.

Debbie returned my call promptly. She and Ken set up an appointment to meet with us and to give us an estimate to clean our two bedroom/two bath condo. We discussed exactly what we would like done and provided a list for them. They were very cordial and are very easy to relate to. They have provided service twice and will return for a third time in two weeks, as we need housecleaning monthly. They are punctual and are eager to please. We would recommend them to friends and neighbors.
