Kelly Blackburn

I started looking for a house in February. After working with three other realtors who weren't proactive, I finally found Kelly from a friend and I'm so thankful I did. The other realtors I had worked with left me feeling that I wasn't important or worth their time as a young, first time home buyer - I cannot begin to count the number of hours I spent doing all the work (looking online, driving around, etc.) with the previous realtors. The sad thing is, there isn't much on Angies List for real estate agents in Jacksonville. When I finally found Kelly she took full charge and actually took the time to look for me! The market I was in and for the budget I was on - I learned that investors with cash would quickly grab up any house I was interested in - but the wonderful thing about Kelly is she fought hard for me and never gave up. She worked around my crazy work schedule... lunch breaks, weekends... And as soon as a house in my budget within the area I wanted became available - we were in the house and filling out the papers to put an offer down same day. There had been a house that had caught my eye, but I had quickly disregarded it because the listing price was far outside of my range. I never mentioned the house to Kelly because of the price, but she found it and contacted the selling agent and talked them down before we even went to look at it. I'm now living in that home and it was not at all the type of home I had imagined I would be living in... it's a beautiful home, well maintained, and was move in ready... not something I expected on my budget. She was absolutely wonderful... and though I had a bumpy start with other realtors before I found her, she was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know looking for a home.
