KELLEY'S HEATING & AIR COND CO

I have a personal friend that does my heating and cooling, it's Kelley's Heating & Air Conditioning. I use the always. They came out probably in November of 2016. I would say it cost $125. I would tell others that he's honest and tells me what really needs to be done. He doesn't try to up sell me anything.

Two friends recommended Mr. Kelley so after dealing with Waychoff in May, I decided to call Mr. Kelley when our AC once again bit the dust. I had originally signed up for a Maintenance Program from Waychoff in May. The unit was fine until the young man from Waychoff came out for the maintenance and it was downhill from there. That's when I asked friends who they use. I called Mr. Kelley in the afternoon and his wife called later to say that Mr. Kelley would be there but she couldn't say what time. Most companies wait till the morning, not Mr. Kelley. He came about 8 or so, working in the dark, and then announced that the compressor was shot. He offered a window unit to use until the new compressor came in. I've never had any AC company offer anything!!! He came again Sunday night--Sunday night not Monday afternoon. He doesn't offer Maintenance Programs, says they're a Rip Off. Amen to that, after cleaning up, turning off the water, closing gates, and discovering a filter installed incorrectly after so-called Maintenance visits. He's just old-school. Does the job, comes even late at night, doesn't try to sell extras, explains what's going on, what's needed, what's not, cleans up, and is what the other companies should be. We will continue to call Mr. Kelley and I'm telling all of my friends about him.

Our heating/ac system is 16 years old. It quit working the afternoon before morning temps of 28 degrees. We thought for sure it meant a new system for thousands of dollars. Pete from Kelleys came out earlier than they said he'd be here (a couple of hours early) and was able to fix our system. Sometime ago, we used Kelleys for my mother-in-law's ac system. It had quit and the other companies were quoting thousands and thousands of dollars for a whole new system. Mr. Kelley came out and said we only needed to replace part of it and for half of what the other companies wanted. He did the job quickly and well. We haven't had a bit of trouble since. One night, our heater quit and my husband called Kelleys. Mr. Kelley told him to try some steps first to see if that would work to avoid a service call. It worked and he didn't charge us anything.(No, it wasn't to plug it in or turn it on. We're not that silly.) They don't come out in fancy uniforms and full-of-it salesman talk. They come out to do a honest, well done job. After you see so many con jobs, it's amazing to find someone with so much integrity. We will definitely use them again.

He came out on Christmas Eve to install the unit for me, which I was very pleased. I have used him many times. When other people told me 5 years ago that my old unit was not going to keep working, he came an kept it going. I completely trust him. The repairs he does are legitimate. He and his crew are polite and professional. He won't do repairs unless they are necessary. Also they show up when they say they will. They don't over charge either. They will answer all questions for me. The service men will talk to you, and they do good work. One time the owner came out, and I asked him about my ducts, which he didn't charge me for the visit. I will use nobody besides him.
