They guy pretty much bitched the whole time he was doing it. Some nails were sticking out of the walls. He said some things weren't cut right.

He was on time, friendly and courteous. He did a good job and even sculptured a wood door that my dog had scratched up.

I was so mad that I didn't call. They made a mess. The finish was certainly not fine. There's an attic in my garage and my son broke some stuff up in there that was heavier than the drywall of the ceiling and the support came through. They left a couple of places where the corners still had a hole. They weren't there the whole time. When I went out there, they kept bugging me. He sent me three or four emails to give him a rating in Angie's List. I never want to see that guy again. They were not professional at all. I had to do it again. The work he did for the much money is a D or an F but the four hours for $139 is a great deal if somebody comes out and does the job for four hours. He called me back.

before I checked Angieslist a friend of mine gave the name of a drywall men so I gave him a call. He came out and looked at my garage and closet and told me that it will cost 1,500.00 to repair all the damages. When Joey's Fine Finishes came to my home to give me an estimate I showned him all the damage to the ceiling and how part of my ceiling was sloping, Joey said that will not be a problem.....all I have to do is renail that area. Now my garage is absolutely beautiful and I will be calling Mr. Joey again!!!!

This gentleman was very rude, and what he wanted me to do was impossible. He wanted me to have all the materials ready for him to begin painting, but I had no idea what to buy and how much. When I explained that to him, deferring to his expertise, he said I had to have all of that prepared, and he was ugly about it. I told him to forget about it.

What a great job! Joey was prompt, called before he came, was even a little early and is the nicest guy! And what a craftsman he is! You almost cannot tell where the gouges were. I am going to paint there but I almost don't even need to! I will definitely recommend him to others!

The provider was on time and provided materials that he said he would bring. The service was quick and he cleaned up.

Joey was very accommodating to our schedule. The ceiling (vintage 1972) had an off texture that I was afraid would be difficult to match (I had tried and failed to match it in other areas). Joey was able to match the texture perfectly. The job was done ahead of expectations leaving some time for him to paint (which was not originally in the quote) at no additional cost if I supplied the paint. The whole job was done within three days and looks great.

I will use Joe's services again if I need this kind of work. First, the end result is top-quality at a very reasonable price. In addition, Joe was punctual for all appointments for estimates and performance of the work. He was clear and easy to work with concerning what he would do and what was my responsibility. Everything was done on schedule. He and his assistants made minimal mess and he did a thorough cleanup. Plus, he's just a nice guy.e

I was at work, but my mom said everything went fine. I was satisfied with the work when I arrived home. I was a little disappointed that he refused to move the stove to repair a small piece of drywall behind it. Overall, the work was satisfactory.

I contacted Joey immediately upon scheduling and sent pictures with dimensions of the work to be done. Scheduling took about 5 days but was in the desired timeframe. Joey arrived promptly for the repair, introduced himself and immediately got to work. The first job was patching the hole in the ceiling and required some lumber, which I did not realize in advance. Joey looked through some of my scrap lumber and his lumber to find pieces that would work. He also seemed to do a great job patching the ceiling from a structural perspective. It just wasn't finished to match the rest of the ceiling. He advised that finishing was a separate service and did not offer to schedule it. As far as the wallpaper, Joey simply pulled the outer layer off, leaving the liner intact on the wall. He ran out of time so only did this for ½ the job then advised me I could do the same thing he did and use soap and water to remove the liner. On the plus side, Joey is a hard worker and experienced, particularly with the ceiling repair. Unfortunately, of the two jobs, neither was finished when he left. Perhaps I had expected too much but those expectations could easily have been managed in communication before the job began, especially given the detailed information provided.

Called on a Tuesday, he returned my call the same day and set up a time to come by on Thursday. Arrived ON TIME Thursday! (actually a little before). That he arrived at all was a miracle because so many so-called professionals are a "no show" in this town. I had a bad crack that was high on a wall where the ceiling is vaulted. The crack went from the corner of a sunburst window laterally to a plant shelf. From past experience I was prepared to sand the wall myself after the drywall guy does the repair because, for the most part, they could care less how the wall is left after the mud dries... This time, however, Joey meticulously smoothed and resmoothed the wall so there was little to no evidence of a repair. Thank goodness as it was in a highly visible area. All I had to do was very lightly scuff the surface, apply primer as he suggested and the painted area blended perfectly with the rest of the wall. No flashing. Happy ending - only thing is that I wish I had seen the Angies list coupon :( It's too bad it took me 25 years to find a great dry wall guy and now I'm leaving!! Made a friend as well - If I could only convince him to do some work for us in Alabama... hint hint. Highly recommend as dependable and a true craftsman.

Have an old house with plaster walls. Joey repaired 2 long cracks in the kitchen ceiling and 1 going up and down by one of the archways in the hall. It looks good. He advised me as to what I need to do in order to paint over these repairs.

Joey came by once to make measurements and prepared an estimate. We then selected a convenient date to start the work. He was on time, prompt, and meticulous. He did a very high quality job and a good cleanup. I will use him again when I need drywall work.

I called on a Monday and got a appointment for the following Thursday. I sent him a cell phone photo of the damage so he could see what the problem was prior to coming. He was prompt and professional; he repaired the damage quickly and neatly and after the area dried it does not even look like a repair has been made.
