Very pleased with the repair - and the tenant was also pleased.

Joey called the day before to confirm the time and materials needed for the appointment the next day and was prompt on arrival. He was able to patch the spot and was kind enough to patch some small plaster holes left from a doorknob. The cost for the labor, materials and excellent service were WELL worth it. I will be calling again for all my future drywall and plaster needs!!

Due to age and a recently installed new roof, a large section of drywall fell from the garage ceiling. Joe asked for a picture and after review, emailed me the cost and schedule information that I needed. His response was quick and detailed. He did the work on time and with such professionalism, that I would recommend him to anyone needing any type of drywall work done. Excellent service and workmanship!

After calling another contractor I was told to buy an $11 can of Home Ax and do it myself which I did. Problem solved.

Joe did an outstanding job. The ceiling had an old (1960's) crows foot style finish and he was able to blend in the patched area with the original finish very nicely. The work area was cleaned up at the end of the job too.

Very bad, the previous reviews does not match with how this guy work or I should say do-not work, first the guy call me to change the work date, he said that he will do the work by himself because he just got surgery in his eyes and he need about 10 rest days, this caused me other issues with the company that will do the tail work, then he comes and I told him what he need to do, he refused to do what I was asking him, he told me that just to cover the sink part and the hole in the medicine cabinet will take more than four hours. He said that he's been doing this work for more than 20 years and he may be right, that way he is taking too much time to do the work now.

We had to ask the technician to basically complete the work in a different area and he wasn't willing to do it. We had to discuss the options. We had to go back and forth with that. He could have looked at what could and couldn't be completed in the timeframe we purchased. They didn't charge more than the deal. He didn't do anything extra.

I had a wall framed up and the previous contractor had done a terrible job and I needed a professional to correct it. Joe was excellent. He showed up early and got right to work. He went over the details of the job beforehand in a professional manner and worked steadily for the time he was booked. The job turned out great and I highly recommend this company for drywall and finishing work.

Joey came out a week prior to the scheduled work to provide an estimate of the service and arrived at the time of our appointment. At the time of the service, Joey was punctual and knocked out the job within an hour and a half. It is always hard to match the original "knock down" on the ceiling, but he was able to match it almost perfectly.

I missed the first appointment that I had with him because my mother was rushed to the hospital and I didn't have a chance to call him when I went to the hospital. When I returned home, I called him to apologize and reschedule the appointment and he said that he would charge me $40 because he came to my house for the first appointment and I wasn't there. On the day we were supposed to meet, our appointment was set for between 2-3 pm. He called me at noon and told me that he was in the area and asked if I was able to meet him earlier. I was at a doctor's appointment but went home as quickly as possible and was able to get there by 1:30. I mentioned that since I rearranged my schedule to meet him earlier, it would be nice if he would waive the $40 fee, but he didn't, so I gave him a check for it. When I got his quote, just to paint 5 ceilings, it was $1,442 and that didn't include the paint! I felt that he was price gouging.

Joey is professional and personable. He arrived on time for the quote visit and he called me in advance of a possible arrival time delay which was appreciated. Best communication and follow through I had with a specialist. He performed his repair and looked great. Cleaned up garage floor following repair. Support our local businesses including Joey.

The work was professionally done, and I would give an A+++ rating to the results of the job performed.... All 4 areas were restored to their original condition. In fact, there was no visible evidence that anything was ever damaged. I would use Joey's Fine Finishes again in the future.

Joe was very punctual. He arrived right on time for the quote. I had been given a quote by my insurance company for the repairs and his price was surprisingly below the estimate. He was able to return in about 2 weeks to do the job. One of our upstairs toilets leaked into the room below. So Joe had to repair the drywall in both rooms. I let Joe know I was very concerned about mold. He cut a section out of the ceiling so I could see for myself that there was no mold. He matched the ceiling drywall perfectly. You'd never know we had water damage. He also replaced an area of drywall in another room with water damage. His associate repainted the bathroom and ceiling. I appreciated Joe's honesty and professionalism. I would highly recommend him for drywall work.

Great! Joe gave lots of tips on our plans to paint (we have old paint on walls - maybe from 1980s) and do other repairs. We are considering hiring him for interior painting. Helped re-mount devices after drywall holes fixed behind them. I ran over to Ace to pick up small anchors for the screws to mount devices and had no worries about leaving the house while he worked (part of the damage to drywall he fixed was due to recent burglary where they removed TV from wall mount). He's got amazing skill and experience which makes him a wealth of information and he does quality work.

Very courteous and personable, Joey maintains this and a very professional manner throughout the entire job.

When you buy a home built in 1908 you get a lot of feedback and suggestions when you have bumpy walls. Pull out all the plaster and put up drywall. Drywall is way easier to deal with.... If you go with Plaster, find a good guy, because plaster isn't a skill...it's an art. Well, we found a real artist in Joey's Fine Finishes Inc.!! He did an awesome job replastering about 80% of our walls. He went in to 'fix' the botches repairs and mistakes (and there were plenty over the years!) while still maintaining the look/style that we wanted with original plaster. We couldn't be more pleased and would recommend him to anyone who wants to restore/keep the look of plaster.

The process of removing wallpaper correctly is very slow, but Joe did an excellent job. He worked non-stop while he was in my house. When he finished he helped me spackle a rough spot that a handyman had left behind and he filed some nail holes so the wall would be paint-ready. He was very professional, worked very hard and went above and beyond. I've had more than my share of bad experiences with repairmen and handymen, so its a complete joy to have a person arrive on time, do a good job, helpfully answer my questions, complete the job, and give me no hassles whatsoever!! That's professionalism!!

Joey was on time, very cordial and professional. Because the service was for four hours and the final coat needs minimum 8 hours dry time I will need to final light sanding before printing and painting, which is fine. I am very pleased with the results and will recommend Joey to others.

He arrived as scheduled and started work straight away and advised on any questions that i had. He plastered 4 walls and advised on next treatment and how to paint the walls and move forward.
