Jax Vents

Job went very well. Got exactly what I needed. Very professional - would definitely recommend.

Job was completed in about 30 minutes or so. Gregg first inspected the vent piping and removed a 'critter' screen from the roof vent left there by the installers. He then thoroughly cleaned the system all the way through to the roof vent. I also adjusted the flex pipe from the dryer to the wall vent to function more efficiently. I would strongly recommend Jax Vents to perform these services.

Jeff was right on time and very professional. He cleaned out the vent on the roof as well as our dryer vents. He ran test on the air and It was running at just over a 2 before the cleaning and above a 5 afterwards. Jeff went above and beyond and I highly recommend this business. He said its a good idea to get the vents cleaned annually if one does five or more loads of laundry per week. I will definitely be using this company going forward. Note *They don't have square set up yet but they are looking into it.

Jeff showed up on time for the 9AM appointment. He explained everything he would be doing to clean out the dryer vent. It entailed a vacuum of the vent, dryer, and would take about 45 minutes.. Then, he would go on the roof to clean out the upper section. He was done in about 40 minutes. When he was done he explained everything he did, what he found, and discussed repairing the lower vent opening. We've had a problem with this area and plan to have it repaired on their next visit. Jeff was very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Great - was on time for a 4:00 Friday appointment and explained things during the process.

Very good. Spent a good hour cleaning our vent and dryer. They were able to go on the roof and clean from that end as well. The cost was 119 for first visit and I think 94 annually after the initial visit. Prompt and on time - very personable, will use this company from here on out.

Vendor was prompt and courteous but could not go on the roof to clean the top of the vent. I had to call a second vendor.

Greg called to say they were ahead of schedule and if it was convenient he could come out 1/2 hr early! Perfect. He allowed the elderly, nosy dog to meet him, then he went straight to work. Showed me the before and after air speed readings (improved after cleaning). Was able to take advantage of the coupon he currently had on Angie's List, but I would be able to use Senior Discount if no coupon available in the future. Will definitely recommend him.

Jeff did a great job. He was on-time, professional, and completed the vent cleaning service as expected. Jeff also took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do and provided a lot of great information. I would not hesitate to call him again next year. Jeff's work was meticulous. He cleaned everything including the dryer lint compartment, the hose that connects from the dryer to the wall, and the dryer vent itself. He also went on my roof to inspect the end of the line including the damper. I was on the fence between hiring someone who advertises on a roadside sign for potentially less money vs. calling a company like Jax Vents. I am glad I went this route. It was well worth the money.

Appt. was for 9am on 6/16 - Jeff arrived at 9:10am (he called to let me know he was held up in traffic) and immediately went to work. Basically he gave me a run down of what he was going to do and then got to it. Before he began, he measured the air flow inside the dryer - it was 2.5. 45 minutes later, he was finished; the air flow was now 5.5. The area was left clean and all the crud from the dryer line was removed from the premises. He also removed a piece of screen that the builder had placed in the vent - collects lint and creates a fire hazard! Great service - will add to my home maintenance list and will definitely use Jax Vents again.

Excellent on time service. Above and beyond in moving a stacked unit and did a super job. I would call them again.

The service was conducted in exemplary way ;-) Arrived right on time and fully explained what is to be performed. Service was done in less then an hour. The technician showed me all the stuff that came out of the vent...it was just filthy. I am VERY pleased with the job. Also my utility room was just painted so cleanliness was of paramount. When technician left, the place was spotless. I HIGHLY recommend Jax Vents. I was so satisfied I arranged for the company to clean my mama's vent as well ;-)

Prompt, courteous and helpful. Dryer cleaned and afterwards, I noticed an improvement in the drying time of our clothes.

Called and made an appointment...he called @ 30 minutes prior to the appointment to inform me that he was running 15 minutes late and wanted to know if this was acceptable. 15 minutes late...most other companies would have considered that on time. He showed up and measured the air flow from the dryer....cleaned the vent line and then remeasured the air flow. Did not try and up sell any additional services. The service resulted in an additional 50% air flow.... Outstanding JOB....

It went without a hitch. Greg responded the same day of my initial call. He was very polite, friendly, pleasant. We made an appointment for 3 days away. I did have to cancel the initial appointment because I had something urgent come up. I was able to cancel about 24 hrs in advance. We rescheduled for a few weeks ahead because of their being heavily booked, recognizing that this was less than ideal. Greg offered to refer me to another provider but I preferred to wait, based on my having chosen them, but also asking if they had a cancellation, to please give me a call. Well, later that day Greg called, telling me that Jeff would be calling me, trying to get out to do the service within the next few days. Jeff called a few minutes later, and scheduled a visit for the day after the original day. He arrived exactly on time. He was polite, professional, soft-spoken and pleasant. He asked permission to plug in his equipment. He invited to me watch as much as I wanted. He was patient as he listened to the rambling details of events leading to my suspicion that I needed to have the vent cleaned. He measured the airflow to my dryer, confirming my fear that I had a vent obstruction. He explained his plans. I had used such services in the past and so was not unfamiliar. He disconnected the connection at the wall and vacuumed the vent at the wall, pulling out a sizeable amount of lint. He vacuumed the room after he finished. He then went out to the roof to vacuum from the top. He returned to show me what he pulled up from the cap on top. He vacuumed out the front of the dryer. He re-measured the airflow and showed me the change in reading from before, indicating vast improvement. (I had only owned the home for a year and suspect that prior owners had never done a vent cleaning.) He asked if I had other questions or if I needed anything else. There were no issues. Clearly, both Greg and Jeff are focused on customer service. I really have absolutely nothing negative to say...and I have high standards and tend to be critical. I would definitely call them again and would highly recommend them to anyone who suspects they may have lint buildup.

Friendly, prompt, reasonably priced and very thorough. Will definitely call them next year for our dryer vent cleaning. Even went on the roof to clean in the pouring rain!
