I have a leak in my roof and called our 4 companies to provide estimates. This provider was my 3rd, all within a matter of 4 hours. Because another contractor was at my house before him, Harold saw the other business card and proceeded to tell me that the company does awful work and the owner of the company was currently in jail for fraud. I didn't tell him, but I know the man in question through mutual friends and was able to confirm that he is NOT in jail and had not been arrested recently. I'm not sure why Harold felt the need to not only trash talk his competitor but to also lie, but it was very upsetting to me. He then proceeded to give me an estimate that was almost 3 times the amount of my lowest estimate, for the same amount of work. My other 3 estimates were for $500, $550 and $700. I will never work with this company, and will tell everyone I know about this awful and unprofessional experience.

I have not personally viewed job but a reliable representative has reported that the job was done quickly and cleanly.

It went very well. One person put new roof on by himself in 2 days he had an assistance only the first day to help with tear up and replacing wood on side of roof.

I called them with an estimate request for a rental property roof. They asked for my zipcode and when I told them it was 32208 (Trout River area), they said they weren't interested in the job because they were "too busy to cross the river." Wow! They can't drive seven minutes up Main Street?

Wonderful experience. Crew showed up afternoon before the job to remove old roof and make repairs, new roof was done before noon the next day. They made a great effort to contain debris with tarps all around house. Highly recommended.

He did a great job with the repairs he also told me about how to original roofers did not complete the work properly and he ended up fixing it. They fixed it in one day. They were very responsive.

I called three roofers after reviewing Angie's List, and Jack Wilson was the only one who answered the phone and scheduled an appointment for an estimate immediately. Chris Voss arrived for the estimate on-time, and acted in a professional manner while he inspected the roof and went over available options with me. When I finally got estimates from the other roofers, I decided to go with Jack Wilson who had responded immediately and had comparable pricing. The work was originally scheduled to be done right after Christmas, but rainy weather pushed back their schedule into January. Unlike some roofers that want money upfront, Jack Wilson did the work on our roof while we were out of town, and we paid several days after the job was complete. When the City inspector came, he said that everything looked good, and that there was a high level of craftsmanship involved with the job. I am pleased with the work that was done, and would recommend Jack Wilson roofing.

They did a great job in good time. They were nice people and treated me well. They've returned twice to make sure everything is ok. He wasn't the cheapest estimate but he wasn't the highest. No complaints with him at all.

We contacted four roofing companies listed on Angie's List for estimates for a new roof and/or repair of the current roof. We had a leak that resulted in a hole in the garage ceiling due to the heavy rains. Of the four, Jack Wilson Roofing gave us the highest bid for a new roof. We mentioned that a reviewer on Angie's List had noted that they were not honoring an Angie's List coupon. The roofer told us that the coupon should not have been on Angie's List. It's kind of odd to see another coupon for this roofer today. I'm wondering if this one is valid. In spite of that, we chose Jack Wilson Roofing to do the roof repair based on meeting a representative of the company. They came out today to do the repairs. Nice job. We will more than likely call this company when we replace the roof. They are professional, responsive and courteous. They charged the estimated cost. They arrived on time. We are thankful to have the roof fixed in what's turning out to be a very rainy season. They recommended a company to fix the drywall damaged by the leak.

Noticed a leak in bathroom ceiling after Tropical Storm Debbie. JCW came out within 24 hrs of my call, provided a quote and arrived Saturday afternoon as planned. The job was exactly what they said it would be, they cleaned up everything, even brought down the pieces of rotted wood and shingles to show proof of the damage (which I really liked). Everything was great..it's just that if it had been anymore than $500 I would not have been able to take them on as a vendor, b/c they only accept cash or checks, no credit cards. They said b/c of the service fees the credit card companies charge, and that makes sense. I'm sure at some point I'll have to replace my roof..if I want to use them though, I'd have to either finance it or find someone else who accepts CC's. Otherwise very impressive service all the way around.

I called Jack C. Wilson Co. 6/27/2012 for a quote, they came out today 7/9/2012 gave a price for the job and refused to honor yours and, their coupon. therefour I deem to be untrustworthy and can not do any bussiness with them.

I did not end up using them because the other company was a little less expensive and they were going to coordinate all of the other services (drywall, painter, etc.) when Wilson Roofing said they did not. The other company made my life easier by helping me to coordinate all of the projects together.

Had a leak in the spare bedroom from a big storm the evening before. This company was very responsive and Chris came out to do an estimate the same day I called which was a relief. The leak was in an area that could either be caused by the plumbing flashing or possibly the roof vent. After discussing both repairs with Chris, I decided to have the plumbing flashing repaired and hope this fixes the problem. Gene and Kyle showed up two days later and did the repair in less than 30 minutes. Very pleased with this company, and would definitely use them again for any roofing issue.

From the first time I contacted Jack Wilson Roofing they were extremely professional and responsive. We made an appointment to have an estimate done and Chris Voss showed up on time as promised. The estimate he provided included options and we ultimately selected a modified version that fit within our budget. After selecting the shingle color and signing the necessary paper work, we set a date to have the work done, conditional on the weather. The work started as planned and the work crew did a great job. They had one guy on the ground to keep up with debris. The work was completed in just under 2 days. When they left, the yard was clean and I had to really search to find any left over nails. It rained for the next 2 days Nd we've had no issue with any leaks.

after many companies that didn't show up or did the job wrong, this company was on time and very efficent with their time and a neat job.... i would reccomend them.

He did a good job, and I am planning on using him again in the future. They came when they were supposed to, and my roof is not leaking anymore. I thought the price was a little high, but the quality of work was excellent.

I was thinking of hiring them, but I picked another company. The quote was around $6000. They were professional. I would have been very happy to have them do the job, but I liked the other company a little better. Their responsiveness was very good. They responded very quickly. I would consider taking a quote from them in the future if need be.

I was getting ready to call them to tell them that I no longer needed their services but they already had a guy on site. They did not even charge for the review. Another company wanted money just to take a look.

The only problem for me was that contractor brought an already full trailer to collect tear off debris. Also, tarpaulins were badly worn and torn thus more debris fell through to the ground, Bring good tarps and an empty trash collector to the job in order to limit clean up effort. Contractor did bring heavy plywood sheets to protect driveway from cracking by heavy loaded trailer. Good experience overall.

We discovered a leak in the roof on our new home and called Wilson Roofing. They had replaced the roof at my Mom's house 2 years previously and did a great job. Chris Voss came out, inspected the roof and the attic area, found evidence of water leakage and gave me repair and replacement estimates. We had just moved in a few weeks earlier and the home inspector said that the roof would need replacement within 1-2 years, so we agreed to have them replace it. They put us on the schedule for the following week and completed the job in 4 days. Chris came out the following day to do his own inspection and made sure we were satisfied with the work. A week later I found 2 window screens that had been damaged by shingles and Chris came out, had the screens repaired and brought them back that same day. Chris and his father Harold [owner] run a very professional business and do great work at a fair price.

The roof on my 20 year-old town home was at the end of its service life. I researched several companies on Angie's List and got very similar prices from two companies. Jack Wilson won the job because they promised to get the job done in two weeks. Chris Voss was the representative who surveyed my home for the quote and coordinated with me on the job. He returned calls quickly and sufficiently answered my questions. The crew showed up early on the day they promised, backed their truck up very close to my house, and got to work quickly tearing down old shingles. They were a very friendly crew, explained everything they were doing, and even let me use one of their ladders for another project I was working on. Clean-up was thorough including going through neighbors yards to check for small debris. After the job was complete and they had left for the day, I noticed that there was damage to the vinyl siding where the truck had backed up to the house. When confronted, Jack Wilson roofing offered to replace the siding pieces to ensure that I would be satisfied with the job. As of writing this, I haven't seen the vinyl replacement, but the company earned an overall "A" based on the roofing job they did. I knocked the professionalism portion of the grade to a "B" because I would have appreciated the roofers informing me of the damage before they left.

I called on Monday, they scheduled and appointment to provide an estimate for 12noon the next day. They performed the work on Friday of the same week. Two men showed up prior to our scheduled appointment and were waiting for me. I arrived 5 minutes prior to the appointed time. One of the men was the sales representative (Harold Voss) the other was the man who would do the work (Frank), if I agreed to the work. It was nice to see the guy who would actually do the work and be introduced to him. I work full time and would not be there for the repair. I asked them how they would like to be paid - in advance? No, they said "just send the check Frank will leave an invoice." Harold explained the situation on the roof and gave me an estimate.. less than my imagination had roamed! I arrive home Friday evening, the work was done and the invoice was in the door.

Okay with a small problem. Company was prompt and professional. We agreed on a price and scope of work. One of the work items was to replace damaged/rotted 1 X 8 roof decking with pressure treated wood for additional moisture and WDO resistance. (This was in the agreement.) During the repair process of the roof deck, a SPF wood was used to replace the damaged material. This wood does not have the durability and life span of the agreed upon material in Florida's environment. The problem was noticed from the underside (attic) of the roof deck and brought to the attention of the on site supervisor who explained that they wouldn't charge for the more durable material. I wasn't charged for the more durable material, but I didn't get what was agreed upon. (The savings was about $40.00)
