+ -1 moreWhat I've learned is the inspection must be clearly defined as to what the inspector can provide and not provide. Of course there are things that are unseen or can't be inspected due to carpeting for being behind drywallor the inspector doesn't have the training or experience to perform the inspection Beyond what they can see.
Description of Work: In June 2011 I was provided a house inspection for $450 by Mac McGinnis inspector for housemasters. What he inspected was done properly just understand the shortcomings of the inspections that you may be getting for the home. Mine did not in clued a inspection of the attic insulation which I later had to add due to non-being up there at a cost of $1800. It also did not foresee issues with venting of my attic which I later had to add an attic fan $500. It also did not find problems with my plumbing to include fixtures that were improperly installed and the leak in my bathroom shower. Which caused degradation in my carpet in my bedroom which carpeting I had to replace $1000. And $1000 repair for the bathroom to stop the leak from the shower pan.
