I was happy was them and their services. The guy that came out to do the work was very knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself.

Home Rite's products are great! The sales staff were excellent, and the price was definitely fair. There were some hiccups with the installation which had me kind of upset, but I spoke with my salesman about it, and the response was all that could be expected of a company. The two owners came out to the house, assessed the situation, and made all the necessary changes. No company gets everything perfect every time, but the true professionals make the effort to ensure things are right in the end. The owners impressed me with their committment to a job done right. They came out to the job site and didn't leave until everything was just as it should be. They obviously care about their business reputation. In a world of unscrupulous contractors, it was a real pleasure to meet some people who care about their work.

They did what they said. I have no complaints about them.

HomeRite was very responsive and professional from start to finish. I started by scheduling an estimate. Richard, one of the owners, showed up right on time and had the estimate drawn up in a matter of minutes. We were very detailed in what we were looking for, and Richard did his best to accommodate all our requests. We had multiple quotes from other companies, and HomeRite provided the best in price, lead time (install time), and quality. Once we agreed to terms, our windows and doors were in within 2 weeks and installed the week they came in. The crew was very professional,making both my wife and I feel comfortable while working. The only negative was that the clean up inside could have been better. There was a large amount of dust and dirt inside the house that I was forced to clean up. I also had to fill in holes in certain spots (nail holes, sealant, etc). I would definitely recommend HomeRite to my friends and family. They are a great, quality, family-owned company.

As advertised. They called an hour prior to let me know they were going to be on time. When they arrived, they quickly determined what the problem was and had all the parts available on the truck. They simply replaced the window balance and inspected all of the other windows. Made recommendations for future preventive maintenance. I was very pleased.

Gates came out and gave me an estimate. After getting another estimate, I decided to go with Home Rite. Everything went as I was told. The windows were measured and ordered and less than two weeks later, they came in. The installers came the next day. They installed 5 windows in about 2 hours. They were on time and very professional. I will use them again.

When Bill came to my house to write up the estimate, he gave me a full blown demostration to show the difference between single pane and double paned windows. I actually got quotes from 3 different compaines, and HomeRite gave me the lowest price for more options. They were running a special that gave me the argon windows at no extra price so I hired them. The installers were prompt and courteous. There was a little dust and a few nails left behind, but nothing overwhelming. Some of my windows were probably 60 years old and had been painted shut, so they had their work cut out for them and they finished in good time. I am thrilled with my new windows and my electricity bill has gone down more than $50 a month since they were installed. I highly recommend these guys!

Great, very prompt once my windows' glass were ready to be replaced. Performed the work with care, very clean and made sure that no broken glass was left outside or inside on the border of the windows.

Installers were very quick and professional. I appreciated that they cleaned as they worked. 8 windows only took about 6 hours to install. And I love the new windows! So much nicer than the old ones. I can't wait to see what kind of impact they have on my utility bills.

Overall: HomeRite is a family owned company, is very responsive, and very helpful / friendly! I would or will use them again should the need arise!

They never contacted us again after the initial estimate. They were too expensive so we didn't go with them for the job.

Their salesman (Bill) was very personable and easy to work with. He didn't pressure me at all and was very helpful. The windows were supposed to take two weeks to come in, but came in a week early and they offered to come out and install them that very week. I was anxoius to have them installed and was able to get the time off so happily went right along. I did a lot of prep the day before they came by moving as much of my stuff away from the windows as possible and took down most of the blinds. I also cut down the weeds and trimmed the bushes as much as I could before they came. On Thursday morning we had great weather and three young men showed up and got busy. I have 2 cats so that was handled by keeping them in a back room until a room was completed and them I moved them to the completed room so they could do that one. All three men were great workers and knew what they were doing. They moved quickly and efficiently and were able to do my whole house (17 windows, a sliding glass door and a door panel) in one day. They cleaned up as they went along and when they were done they even re-hung all my blinds. The windows and doors look great. I went from 53 year old drafty, aluminum frame, single pane windows to double pane, argon gas, EE energy efficient, tinted windows and can feel my JEA bill go down as we speak. The white vinyl looks great on my house. The guys even found some house paint in the garage and touched up a spot. I can't imagine a better experience so would highly recommend this company.

Following an accident that broke a window, we called HomeRite for an estimate because we found them on Angie's List. The company owner came out within 4 hours and gave us such a great price, they ended up replacing six windows & a double French patio door with energy efficient windows. The team arrived exactly on time and got started working. They were polite, efficient and clean - each guy even carried his own shop vac to clean up debris! At the end of the job - about 6 hours - they left & the house looked amazing. I have already recommended them to several friends who are thinking of doing their windows.

Overall, it went very well. Unlike others who bid for the job, Homerite's representative could provide us a bid cost at time of estimate. Also, they did NOT ask for a fee for providing an estimate! One of the contractors who we contacted as a result of the Jax Home & Patio show wanted $85 to give an estimate! Needless to say, they did not get an invitation to bid. A shame, really, as that contactor also installs and repairs screen encloseures as well as windows and our two screen enclosures could use some updating and repairs. That $85 request for an estimate could likely have cost them thousands in enclosure work. Although competitive, Homerite was not the lowest priced contractor for the work but they were by far the most professional and courteous of all who bid. They did inspire confidence that the work would be completed properly and professionally. One of the windows in question was a rectangular "picture" window over the fireplace and it was replaced with a low energy transfer window without a hitch. The other window had an arch in it and did not fit exactly as it should. Once the installers noted this, they immediately remeasured, apologized for the inconvenience and ordered another window. It was installed within a few days. It was all handled professionally as one would hope as a customer. The sales representative was knowledgeable, courteous and responsive. The installers were polite and went to work. Appointments were kept on time and any mess from the old windows was cleaned up and taken with them. The warranty, "paid" invoice and a thank you note was received a couple of days after everything was completed. A caution for those looking into window replacement: Some window contractors actually admitted that they receive a 10 year warranty from the window manufacturer but only pass along a 1 year warranty to the home owner. Does anyone wonder "why" that contractor did not get the work!? When we need any window or door work in the future, Homerite is the one we will call.

They showed up when they said they would. They had a large team of very competent installers and completed the job in one day. They cleaned up and removed everything from the property before leaving. I would hire this company again. I was very pleased with everything about them, from the estimate to the completion of the job.

I was very pleased with this company. He was very prompt and the price was good. I have a 3 year old that loves to help (especially when tools are involved). He did not mind at all. He included my son throughout the whole process. He definately went above and beyond. I would definately use this company again.

I thought that he was very quick with the estimate, and I did not have to wait for him to come back to me the following day; he was ready to give me an estimate within an hour. He was very knowledgeable about the product and gave me very helpful suggestions. I am going to have him do the work in a couple of weeks, and based on what I have seen so far, I assume the quality will be good.

We did have a problem with the windows needing spacers because they were wobbly without them. We were told that this was due to the heavy glass, but with the spacers, the problem was fixed. HomeRite did address our complaint to our satisfaction and we have used them again for 2 new windows we had installed in the house. And we plan to use them again in the future for the Florida Room.

Outstanding. The business owner (Gates) provided the estimate, everything went perfect there. Windows were ordered and the install date was scheduled. Professional and courteous window installers, cleaned up after each day they were there. Very pleased with the work and the product.
