I was called immediately after submitting the request. Pete called and we discussed the work to be completed and set a firm date and time: December 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Pete summarized and concluded the conversation with, If any changes, I will call you and if you have any changes, call me." I waited at the appointed time/place until 11:45 and Pete never called or showed. I have note received a call until this day. It is very disappointing as I have had this happen several times with other companies and service providers so I decided to go with Angie's List especially noting "A" rating. I mentioned this to a friend who suggested that when we have a "no show" we should rate them so that going forward others will not be caught up in just the "A" rating for the times they showed up; therefore, providing a true rating. Potential customers are time is valuable too and should not be wasted. If you don't want the job for whatever reason, then be professional enough to say that instead of wasting my time with the expectation of thinking you are honest. I never do business with someone who don't value my time.

The salesman came to our house to give estimate. He was punctual and thorough. We had another estimate and went with that company. I would recommend to give them a try.

Super! On September 21, 2016 the new panel was delivered. Old panel was removed and new panel installed. Only cost was for removal of old panel and installation of new. Everyone was very courteous and professional.

Fair. I requested a "coastal package" which uses stainless steel rather than corroding metals due to living close to the ocean. Despite efforts in that direction, the windows I received had regular screws. They replaced the screws that were easy to get to, but some are hard to get to and I'm stuck with those. Everyone was very nice, but they were unable to deliver what I wanted and requested. The final product looks fine and this point but corrosion is a huge problem at the beach and if I'd have known what I would end up with, I'd have gone to a big name company that carries the product with the coastal/stainless steel screws and fittings.

Rich with HomeRite was very professional and helpful. He was very honest and on time. I would definitely use this company again!!!

We delt with Gates for the purchase of both doors and he was excellent to work with during all aspects of the project. The installer arrived on time on both occations and removed the old doors and installed the new ones. These are fiberglass doors that will last a lifetime and look amaising. When a problem arose with the installation of the pool bath door, I called Gates and the problem was handled very quickly and to our great satisfaction. Both doors look great and it is a tribute to all of the people at HomeRite Windows & Doors and we would definately use them in the future.

Gates, an owner, was magnificent in helping us choose a door that was in keeping with the architecture of the house and didn't bust the bank. Mark co-ordinated with Manny at Lisa Cortez Painting and got everything set up. When Paul came to install the new door he was right on time. As he did previously on our massive patio door, he was right on top of it all. The work was done neater than I would have thought possible. He cleaned up as he went and finished the job perfectly. He was even gentle with our menagerie when a couple of them tried to escape. Ever tried to herd seven cats? We have had nothing but compliments on the new front door. To say it is stunning is an understatement.

We contacted Gates at Home Rite for a quote based on our description and measurements and he responded very fast with an official pre-order quote specifying all materials and details of the installation. They were not the cheapest ones but, they were very competitive and their costumer service was first class. Once we decided to go with them, Gates came to measure each window and door, brought the catalog for us to choose the front door and answered all questions. He was clear that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get the products as they are manufactured per order as with so many choices, nobody keeps stock of these unless you go to Home Depot and pick what they have. Even though they did not call us with the progress of the order, they did respond to my voice mails the same day. I guess we were very excited on learning when would be windows and doors arrive. Gates even called me on Labor Day to confirm what time the workers were coming the next day. The windows and doors are perfect, beautiful!!. They brought like 5 or 6 people and got them in pretty fast... they got ran out but came back the next day to finish the job and, they helped us with installation of shutters which was not a formal part of the deal. We really appreciate it. They made no mess at all, the contour of the windows is intact. AMAZING!! Thank you so much!

Things went great!! I was worried about the job be cancelled due to rain but it all worked out and I couldn't have been happier... Maybe I should have shopped a bit more for price but the 4 guys who came did a nice clean job!!!

One of the owners came to the house to measure and 2-3 days later sent a bid for the job. At that time I asked if we could add interior grill work and the office sent a new bid. It only added $100 to the price. I scheduled an installation appointment and the installer was actually a half-hour early. He immediately got to work. Having been in the commercial construction and commercial property management business for over 30 years I have some idea as to what to look for in a worker. Paul was professional, methodical and tidy. He actually cleaned up as he went which is a delight to see. The doors are heavy duty aluminum with a white finish and argon gas filled with low-e and enclosed grill work, and an insect proof screen door. Everything has substantial locks and the entire job and the end result are fabulous. We couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to any one who needs windows or doors.

This is not going to sound like a credible review. As I tell everyone, "This is simply the best contractor I've ever dealt with". And as a homeowner for the past 40 years, I've dealt with a lot of them. Homerite was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I have never seen a contractor so concerned with making sure everything was done maximally for our convenience and for the quality of the finished job. We did a very large job with them. The great majority of it was fast, done incredibly professionally and, more importantly, skillfully. All the guys doing the actual work were obviously tops in their profession, they cleaned up completely, and were all pleasant people. One thing went wrong with the size of one row of glass that came from a supplier, and when that happened Richard and Gates, the owners, went into emergency mode. They spent money and time making sure that we were in the best possible state while waiting for the new glass, and they spent a lot to get temporary glass made while the fancier stuff (low-E) was being fabricated. I have never seen anyone treat customers THAT well before. It just isn't fair to give these guys only an "A" for the work they did. And now others in my condominium, having seen our experience and the quality of the finished product, are lining up to sign them up too. Oh, yeah, they were less than 3/4 the price of the other bids for the same job in other apartments in our building.

Scheduled appointment with this provider to repair windows. Waited three hours for them to show up. Never showed up, nor called to say there was a delay.

Great experience. A+++ service. Ordered the windows and was given an install date at the time of order. Installers showed up on time. Very happy I went with HomeRite. Will use again on my other properties. Thank you!

We had a great experience with them. They were super responsive in getting out to give a quote. 4.25 to 4.29. They were great and easy to work with. They had a good price.

The existing doors were wood and had been installed 20 years ago. Bill Eldridge of HomerRite came to my house and did an estimate and then, Gates Dearen, the owner of HomeRite, came by and spent a morning estimating the job with Bill. It is a complicated job and I did not expect it to look nearly as good as the existing doors which were very high end. The job was done in two days and it looks fantastic. The doors were installed in a workmanlike manner with attention to every detail. The job site was spotless at the end of the job. I would highly recommend this company.

This company is wonderful. Our sub division signed up for services with Home Rite. We were all having problems with window panes going bad. They are billing the manufacturer directly and giving us a group rate for labor. I called and emailed Mark, who was extremely informative and very professional. A co-worked came out to inspect the old windows and we decided up replace the entire house and upgraded with the OLE windows. Which I could not be happier that we did (noise reduction, heat/cold reduction..huge difference) The installers were right on time, they cleaned as they went, and even had more help come to speed up process (it was unbearably hot this day) I would use again, refer a friend and cannot say more about them!

It might have been easier to write reviews for the windows and doors separate, however, I will just say that I am satisfied with both and that Bill the salesman and everyone at HomeRite are great people. They will ensure that you are satisfied. The windows is all A's including the price, except that after replacing all my windows and doors and adding more insulation in the attic and replacing the duct work, the AC bill is the about same as last year. So I didn't see the dramatic savings on electricity that was advertised. The JEA comparison for the last 3 months doesn't show any difference. The windows and doors look fantastic, especially the French doors with mini blinds in the glass and full glass. The sound reduction with the dissimilar window glass and the laminated door glass was very nice. Everyone always bent over backwards to please me. Unfortunately, there was plenty of opportunities for them to demonstrate that with the doors. The doors were supposed to be Low E and they are - except that they do not reflect the sun coming in very well. The ODL rep (there are multiple entities you have to deal with when dealing with door glass) tried to convince me with a NFRC sheet that the ratings were Low E, but the ratings reflected that the ratings for the doors were better than the windows and that was not true. The glass on the doors were replaced once since they weren't Low E (the installer still says they were to begin with). The blinds were malfunctioning on two of the doors so the glass and blinds were replaced again. I tried to convince Gates and the ODL rep that the door glass were still not Low E for the southern US, but that is difficult to do, so I finally gave up. The doors only had some of the morning sun, so it was not that important for me to reflect the sun. I am sure I could probably pass a door glass certification knowledge test now since I spent many, many hours researching Low E. The NFRC, that is supposed to protect consumers was useless.

Finished job is beautiful, in and out in hours with quality work on door.

Wonderful. They were very professional, fast, and courteous. They were on time and worked quickly. I was impressed that they cleaned up after every stage of removal and replacement so there was never a big mess. They hauled everything away with them and just like that, the house was looking great and keeping cool! We even received a hand written note thanking us for choosing HomeRite, a great small town touch! The owner even came back because we had a problem that stemmed from the old sliding glass doors. He helped solve the issue at no extra charge providing an extra inspection and additional sealant to insure that the issue was resolved. We will definitely use them again for new windows in the fall.

first they came out to measure. they came out about a week later and installed new window quarter.Fast , easy and cheaper than expected.

They arrived earlier then scheduled and went right to work. They had 6 guys working and it went by so much faster than I could of even imagined. The windows are just beautiful. Brightens up our house.

FANTASTIC from the phone call to set up the initial appointment thru completion of the job. The sales rep, Bill, was on time, well-spoken, professional, personable and did not shy away from any question. We wanted to see some actual double hung windows so we went to the office, un announced. We met with the owner, Gates Dearen, and like Bill he was fantastic. He, too, answered every question with no equivocation. !The windows were ordered. They actually came in a week early. The date and time of installation was set. The installers were about 10 minutes early. What a nice change...installers are never on time! The installers were an extension of what we'd already experienced with the rest of the company. They set to their task and were they good and fast....and neat! The home builder had neglected to put some trim above 2 windows. The installers would have none of that, they put up 2 trim pieces! Will we ever use this company again? You bet the house we will. Will we recommend this company to friends? We already have. Give them a call. You won't regret it.

Gates and Tom came over an measured windows and door. I agreed to the $9,914.00 price for Hurricane windows and patio door. Gave 50% deposit on 12/31/2013. I was advised by Gates that I would receive a 30% discount, if I put the deposit down before the year ended. My windows and patio door were installed on 02/10/2014. Funny thing is, the 30% discount is still running! Tom and his crew arrived on Monday morning 2/10/14 bright and early. They were very clean and courteous! The problem is, several windows and the patio door were not the right size. They were under-measured, too short. They were made to fit in the space by caulking and wood . I feel the noise level is the same as before I spent all this money on new windows. When I asked Gates about the difference, he said they didn't make the sliders that size any more. I told him that, he is the only contractor out of six estimates that is saying the sizes aren't made anymore. He said it was a known fact among contractors and he just neglected to mention it. He did apologize for the oversight. However, given that information prior to the job, I would not have used HomeRite.

Price was the best. We had contacted the provider at BJ's, and we were quoted a price over twice as much for a less quality window. The crew showed up on time and were finished in 1/2 day. Our new windows look great!
