I was very impressed with the methods used and the inspector. He was very professional. I would definitely use them again.

My inspector was very personable and professional. He emailed me all of his pictures and reports the same day of the inspection. He took the time to really explain his findings. He found a leak in my roof which could have really been a disaster later. The only thing that was missed was the track to my garage door that was not properly connected on one side to the ceiling. This was a easy fix for us, and beyond that I feel everything was really thorough. I have already referred him to friends who also liked him, and they have not had any issues at all.

They are very thorough and provide a lot of written feedback as well as photographs.

We made an appointment and he showed up on time and spent additional time with us going over the audit. It was easy to understand, and done very professionally. Wally was great! He worked with our company to review our electrical. He was able to save us a few hundred dollars instantly and we’ve been very pleased with the survey he gave us, the information, and the results. He brought up ideas we had never thought about before. He was very personable and quite helpful!

They are very good. We have an electrical utility company that was offering a zero-interest loan if you upgraded your insulation. I had an energy audit by Home Pro. They were able to pin point exactly what would help my energy efficiency. I have recommended them.

I think I am very comfortable and satisfied with the work they did. The inspection they gave was more expensive than other estimates, but I am happy that they used infra red technology to detect moisture. I can now be comfortable with my purchase.

I called this company on my realtor's recommendation. I called to obtain a general home inspection, mold, asbestos, and infrared. BEWARE on this front: they will sell you an expensive "package" that should never include "mold" in the description because they do not test for mold in this bundle of services...they only "eyeball" the house for mold which should just be part on any good inspection. I was never told at the time of ordering the inspection that there would be extra charge for a mold 'test'. The fellow who came out to inspect the house was prompt, professional, and answered all of my questions. But I felt a certain disconnect with the process that left me dissatisfied. One of the glaring reasons for this is that the HomePro inspection did not observe a few problems with the house that a previous home inspection (shared by seller) had revealed. When HomePro was was asked about these issues they did not seem particularly concerned that there could have been any oversight. I returned to inspect those potential problem areas myself and discovered one of them. Unacceptable! the 'other' problem was under the house and I was not about to crawl under the house myself! Initially, I was not going to voice my negative sentiment and even gave the inspector positive feedback per HomePro's feedback request. But I felt compelled to privately share my dissatisfaction with HomePro with my realtor. To her credit she contacted HomPro's owner, Wally Conway to discuss the discrepencies. Following her lead, I also wrote a personal email to Mr. Conway regarding the price of the inspection package without including an objective test for mold. I suggested he provide me with a partial refund. I never received one. In fact, I never received any response from Mr. Conway. He directed communication only to my realtor. There seems to be a serious disconnect between HomePro and the people they serve! The inspector spent 3 1/2 hours on the inspection. Spent over $700.00 on this. Whats wrong with this picture? This is not my first time around the block with home purchase and home inspections. HomePro has a long way to go in the customer service department. I will never recommend them! ***update*** Since my original report I have spent the last 5 months dealing with the reality of the condition(s) of the house I bought based on the results of my HomePro inspection. The home inspection missed some dangerous electrical problems and missed or underestimated many of the home repair needs. To date these "minor" repairs have cost over $10,000 with a total of $20,000 spent to date and still counting. Virtually every contractor who has been to the home to assess the repair issues has shaken their head in disbelief. It has been an extremely stressful experience which I have addressed with Mr Wally Conway who assumes little responsibility or accountability nor offered any level of resolution. He has plenty to say but has not offered me any tangible action to work through the issues. (He responded to me months after I initially contacted him only on the prompting of my real estate company, Watson Realty). This is not my first home or home inspection. The HomePro contract is executed to render the consumer with limited recourse. Read the contract very carefully and know who it protects. The real costs of receiveing an incomplete home inspection report have not been limited to hidden repairs but includes the right to re negotiate the offer on the home or to rescind the offer altogether. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases someone will ever make and utilizing a reliable home inspection service with impeccable reputation and customer service is the lynchpin to making a sound, informed decision and home buying experience. I feel I was denied this opportunity and taken advantage of by HomePro Inspections.

Wally Conway is the person's name. I found him on Angie's List. It was actually a $600.00 energy audit, but JEA, the electrical company, subsidized it. He came through with the actual heat demography and he told me exactly where all the insulation was having a problem. He put in a door seal and then vacuumed out the air in the house and told me how much I was losing through duct work. He did everything to tell me exactly where I needed to put my energy money to save me energy cost. He did a cost analysis. It was awesome. He was highly professional. He was right on time. He actually comes in and collects $200.00 and then bills JEA for the rest. His price was excellent. I didn't have to come up with any money and get it back as a rebate. He did it all.

Overall we had a good, but not excellent experience with HomePro. They saved us a large head-ache with the first home and the WDO inspection (although they didn't outright recommend we not buy it). And they did a fairly good job with the second one, but as everyone knows... once you start ripping apart walls in a 1940's home, you're going to find some un-forseen problems. Overall the inspection was thorough and accurate.

Part of the Homepro Inspections group which is widely praised as a home inspection service, here they called themselves Florida Homepro Inc. Although they technically performed the mold inspection and analysis as promised, where they fell short was reporting and interpreting the results. They gave me a report with a bunch of numbers on it with no indication if they were good, bad or average results. When we called to ask what they meant, they told us to contact the lab, Pro-Lab, to find out what the numbers mean. From a customer service perspective, not good at all. To date, after nearly a week, Pro-Lab has not called us back despite leaving a couple of voice mails.
