The inspector was prompt, courteous, quite informative and patient with my multitude of tedious questions.

The technician was very helpful and recommended a few things to help maintain good airflow and save energy. Although he was late, he was very good.

Inspection was performed professionally with knowledgeable information provided. Inspector was prompt, polite and professional. Support staff were great and helped resolve any scheduling issues. Service is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

The inspector did not show up. When I called to find out what happened, I found they had written down the wrong phone number, wrong address(this after the girl was admiring the house on Google Earth) and wrong time for the appointment. I was informed they had misquoted, I was then told that I needed an entire package. This 'package' was $299. I asked how we got from $98, to $299. They said that they could not just do the inspection, that I would need additional information to send to the insurance company. At that point I told them never mind. I would get someone else. At this point everyone was cheaper than them. At that, they said they could stand by their original quote and rescheduled. She said they did not normally do these inspections for this price but she would make an exception since she had mistakenly given me the wrong quote. I guess that worked out OK, the tech who came was polite but not very happy. OH WELL. I got my report and the insurance savings the goes with it. But when we have a new roof done, I will be using someone else to do the mitigation report.

We are still in the process of finishing up building our place, but so far the communication working with HomePro has been excellent.

Went fine, but didnt seem more thorough than other inspections I've had in the past and was much more expensive. They did take infrared readings which I suppose would have been big ticket if there had been any issues.

The first day I spoke to Tanya she could not have been more helpful. Wally and Austin were great. They both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the inspection. They were able to pinpoint potential problems and answer my questions fully during the inspection. I never felt they were rushing through to get to the next client. They were quick to get my report in so that the problems could be addressed by my building supervisor. As a single woman building a home for the first time, Home Pro gave me a sense of assurance that I had picked the right builder and I was moving into a quality home. Thank you Wally and Austin.

Working with HomePro was a fantastic experience from my first phone call to the company where I spoke with Amie Echavarry for quite a long time as she took the time to answer my questions. She setup an appointment with the inspector - Larry Newland. Larry arrived early and had already started looking over the unit. He was quite thorough in the inspection and also spent time answering any questions we had on different things in the condo. The inspection took around 3 hours if I remember correctly. By the next day we received multiple reports by email with color picture and lots of detail. So while I think the price was a bit on the high side, when you compare it to the the cost to buy a home and the comfort you get from knowing the home was inspected thoroughly by a professional I think it was money well spent. I highly recommend this company and especially Larry Newland. And special thanks and appreciation to Amie Echavarry for the multiple conversations and phone calls!!

Very thorough and professional. Detailed reports. 5 Star service well worth the money.

From the first email to schedule the appointment, to the many times having to change appointment, due to construction problems at the home. Amie the customer service representive was always courtesous and always accomadating. I am a widow, and was very unsure of what package a wanted. I first picked the level five thinking it was the best because of the cost. Even Amie, tried to convience me that I didn't need that package for new construction, but I wouldn't listen. Austen, the inspector, could of went ahead and did what I had asked for, and charge me $ 594.18. Instead he advised me that for a new construction it wasn't needed which saved me about $ 200.00. The only thing that I wanted that wasn't in the package was the wind mitigation test, which I requested to be done for insurance purposes. He did this for me and advised me the cost would be $ 99.00. I was still saving $ 100.00. I'm originally from south Florida...always have hurricanes in my mind...lol Austen, did an excellent job on site. Was there at the home at least twenty minutes earlier than the appointment time. Explained every thing to me. Was very polite and made me feel very comfortable. He tested everything from top to bottom, inside and out. It took him about 2 hours to complete his inspection. That evening I had the report in my hand to turn over to my builder to make the corrections that are needed. It is clearly explained and pictures are accompanied so it easy to understand. After being married for twenty eight years, buying a house on my own was overwhelming. So afraid I was stepping into a nightmare since I had some issues during construction of home with the roof and a few others problems. Now I feel comfortable to close on my new home next week. I would highly recommend this company and I myself would use them again in heart beat. Wally Conway,president of HomePro Inspections, performed the inspection and located the source of the leak for us. Unlike the roofer I had hired previously, Mr. Conway performed an extremely thorough inspection of all possible areas where the water might be entering the home and quickly identified the problem area for us. I would definitely recommend Mr. Conway and HomePro Inspections to anyone needing a thorough, professional inspection of any problem area in a home. This is especially true for problems that other contractors were unable to resolve.

The service was fantastic in every way. The initial inspection was extremely thorough and I am confident that all the potential issues that were visible to the inspector were found and discussed with me. The reports I received were professional and detailed. The price was higher than some of the other quotes I received, but I think it was worth every penny for the peace of mind that I knew about potential issues. Also, the package a purchased had the option to have a reinspection if the seller agreed to any repairs. It turned out that I needed this option and it probably saved me more money than if I had gone with the cheaper quotes. Overall, highly recommended.

very professional and capable - a little expensive but worth it

Lou was early, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He not only performed the inspection thoroughly but was also able to advise me about some small things to look out for once I take ownership of the property that will no doubt save me time, and money in the future. Would definitely use his services again in the future.

I can honestly say that I would recommend Home Pro and Allen to any one. Allen was better than punctual as a matter of fact he was early. I was surprised at how thorough he was. He checked all of the plumbing, the wiring, all of the appliances, all of the light fixtures, the ceiling fans, all of the windows. He even went out of his way to walk 2 lots over to check the shared well. I have to say that he checked the home inside and out. He answered every question and didn't mind that we followed him during the entire course of the inspection so that we could ask any questions that we may have at the time they arose. What a patient man. Wally came to pickup the water specimens for the well water testing and was extremely friendly and professional. Overall Allen found a couple of thing that have the potential to cost a lot of money to repair or replace. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but once I researched the individual costs for all the features and ongoing support, I was OK with the price. (based on size of home) Doug was my inspector and met me at the home. When I arrived, he was already there looking around the outside perimeter and getting himself aquiantanted with the property. Doug's vast experience in contracting and his overall knowledge base is more than anyone could ever ask for in a home inspector. I am so glad he was there to check every detail with me. Even the sort of things that did not go into the report (little home tips and DIY maintenance) were well worth the 5 star inspection. After I received the report, I had a couple clarifying questions and was able to reach out to Doug via email for a quick response. Since this is a purchase inspection for me, Doug will go back to the house after the repairs have been made and inspect them again for me! Finally, the little gesture that gave me peace of mind: Less than week after the inspection, I received an email from HomePro with a complimentary 90-day Limited Home Warranty. :)

For amount of work was overpriced. Inspector was professional.

The response from the first call itself was very disappointing. The lady asked for the exact property address for a price quote. Due to privacy reasons I could not give the exact address but all other details like the area, sq. footage, bed/bath/garage info. She was very rude and quoted a very high price without discussing any details just to avoid me

I still have a little bit of work left for them to do. The man who came out has a great personality. He is really friendly and personable. I used them because if you have certain safety features on your roof it would save you about $140 a year on your insurance.

I called three inspection companies to get info and pricing. While HomePro Inspections was higher priced than the other two, I can understand why and feel as though it was worth it. The person who initially answered the phone was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I made an appointment for the inspection and within minutes of hanging up the phone, I had an email confirmation. I received another email the day before my scheduled appointment and again that morning. The person conducting the inspection was on time and very professional. Before he left my house, the technician thoroughly explained his findings and emailed me the report so I could submit to my insurance company. Based on the findings of HomePro, I was eligible for a discount on my homeowners insurance premium. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for inspection services of any kind.

I ultimately did not use HomePro, as I was unable to match schedules at the last minute. My interaction with them, and the quality of their response to my inquiry give me full confidence that they are the real deal, and worth the premium.

thorough pre-purchase inspection

My husband and I read recent reviews and decided to go with Home Pro Inspections based on those reviews. We are so glad that we did. We were somewhat anxious as the home was a foreclosure and had been unoccupied for years. We were also given a very small window to complete inspections in order to close in 30 days. Lou was able to meet with us on his day off, in order to meet our time constraints. He arrived promptly and described his process for conducting inspections. He didn't mind us following behind him, asking questions, and peeking over his shoulder. He was very thorough. He was very professional...had all the high tech gadgets...and had our report emailed to us within hours. He was also able to complete a wind mitigation form for us for a nominal additional fee.
