+ 1 moreI got a pair of French doors but then there were two glass side panels, one on each side. I guess it would be two doors and two windows. I got a good price with no interest for 2 years. It's very hard to get through to their people at the store level. When you call and the phone rings off the hook, naw, sorry. The guy that did the installation was the guy that came out and did the measurements first because the whole thing had to be custom made. He didn't explain things very well when he was here the first time to take the measurements. I got the impression that he thought I knew more than I knew, he didn't explain things sufficiently. Yet, when he came out to do the install, he was great. Except he did miss two screws. If there is a whole in a hinge, there is supposed to be a screw in there. I would use them again because of the quality point I am with my purchases and the interest free credit.
Description of Work: I got doors from Home Depot. I purchased the doors from them and they installed them.

+ 0 moreHome Depot sent out a supervisor named Mike to measure. Then Provider never followed up. Said someone else (installer) would have to come out and measure again. This was the second time I have attempted to get windows with Home Depot. They send someone out and they measure and then they tell you the installer has to come out. And that never happens. Poor Customer Service on following up with customer

They were exactly double from what most of the other people were. On the other hand, the contractors who did the siding were excellent. They were punctual and they were with great workmanship.

Description of Work: I needed to replace both of the toilets in my home. I thought I would get one, see how the experience went, and then if I was satisfied, do the other. I selected a toilet, it was a very good price ($88); there was a helper right there that had a cart and took me to the desk that arranges for the installation. That all went smoothly. They said someone would call me. The purchase was on a Wednesday, they called me the next day, but it could not be installed until the following Monday. I suppose that was acceptable since I did have the old toilet that I could use, but if I had had a non-working toilet, that delay would have presented a problem, especially since they told me they usually install within two days of purchase. I scheduled for 9am, but he came a little early. That wasn't a big problem since I was home but what if I could not be there until exactly 9am? The installation went well. I went back in a couple of weeks and repeated the process. This time did not seem to go as smoothly. I couldn't find anyone to help me right away. I finally found someone and then he told me to go and get a cart. I had to walk all the way to the outside of the front of the store and I couldn't find a flat-bed cart anywhere. Then I asked someone else and they told me to go to the lawn and patio area to the right side of the store. I finally found a cart, walked all the way back and then he told me he had a cart! That was a little frustrating. When they called me to schedule an appointment, she seemed to want to tell me when THEY wanted to come (the day, the hour) instead of asking me what was convenient for me. They day and hour she was suggesting were not convenient for me, so I had to wait an additional day to get the hour that I was available. A different installer came, and because the old toilet was not flushing well he proceeded to tell me that I might need plumbers, etc. He said a flange was broken on the floor and charged me an additional $45 to repair that.

Considering the price of windows and installation, they have been really fine. I am very happy with them.

+ -1 moreScheduled installtion took place when it was schedule no delays, yeah! The installer was excellant and took great pride in his work. We would love to see him again to do our bathrooms. The only thing was the base trim was lighter than the trim we saw at the store.

+ 1 moreOnly one guy came out to do the work and he did the most professional job I have ever seen. I was very pleased with their service. I really looked around before having the work done and Home Depot came in with one of the best prices. We changed our decision of the tile pattern half-way through the project and he was able to change the tile with any hesitation and call the store of the materials.
Description of Work: I used Home Depot to remodel my bathroom, which included a new tub, toilets and walling.

We chose to pay a little bit more to Home Depot rather than going with another company because they guarantee their roofs for twenty-five years. The peace of mind the grantee gives you is well worth the extra money.
