High Performance Tree Service

Chris (The owner) has trimmed my trees for a number of years. He provides consistently reliable service and his attention to detail impresses me every time. He comes with my highest recommendation.

I used Chris and high performance tree service and had a great experience.

I had used this service previously without incident, however, just after the first of the year, owner approached me saying that, "work was slow" and asked to remove an oak that we had previously discussed. He gave me an excellent price, so I agreed. He left the job undone, saying that he had run out of gas for his chain saw, and promised to return the next day. I contacted him a few days later, and he promised to return, making an excuse about equipment problems. I ended up paying an additional $100 to have debris hauled away. Owner, Chris Griggs, left a partially severed stump (approx. 2 feet high), so I called him again and asked him to finish cutting the stump, which he did 6 weeks later. He proceeded to give me multiple excuses as to why he neglected to finish the job, until I politely excused myself.

The people that work for him do a good job, but the owner drinks on the job. I will not be hiring them in the future.
