Excellent service and they moved fast. Moved piano from third floor without damage. A couple of minor items were damaged, but overall they did an excellent job.

It was a great experience. Because of 2 previous strokes, I was unable to completely pack on my own, and they were able to finish the packing in 1 day, came the next to actually move. They had to rearrange their schedule to help me, and did so without any objection. They charge by the hour, and worked quickly, professionally, and cooperatively. I could not have done this move without, them, honest. They are the best!

Had a great experience with Helping Hands Movers. They arrived on time. Surveyed the rooms before loading the boxes and furniture. They moved quickly without long delays. They valued my time as the company charges per hour and I appreciate that alot They used care in packing a special mirror that weighted quite a bit. They made sure that the walls were not damaged when they moved heavy bulky items such as mattreses and headboards. The moving team helped me place felt protectors on the bottom legs of several armoires and chests so they could later be moved around. Movers were friendly and professional. I would use them again.

Several friends highly recommended them to us. They moved us from a home we sold in Jacksonville to a storage unit that was close to the home we were buying in Fernandina Beach. Everything from the initial phone call to the actual move was as professional and friendly as anyone could ever hope for. The crew of 3 guys immediately made us feel comfortable that our possessions were not only in helping hands but in caring hands as well. We did attempt to use them again for our move from the storage unit into our new home but unfortunately they were not able to accommodate our move in the time frame we needed. So my first recommendation is use this company but remember they are not only good but popular so my second recommendation is to make sure you give them plenty of notice so they can accommodate you on their schedule!

They were awesome. Nothing was broken. They were very careful. I just recommended them to a friend. I priced out a couple of different people and they were the best price. They were right on-time and they got there really early in the morning like they said they would. It was almost 9 o’clock when they left here. They had to make two trips in their truck. They did not realize it. Their punctuality was excellent. They were very professional and polite.

The gentlemen placed skid-proof covers on the floors from the front door and the garage which was very much appreciated. We would definitely use these movers again if we are in the Jacksonville, FL area.

The 3 man team arrived on time assessed the furniture and began loading the truck promptly. I like how the team lead made sure things fit properly in the truck and was professional. He kept me informed of the time and if we would run over the allotted time I would use this company

The crew was punctual and started working as soon as they entered my home. They were very careful with my belongings and seemed to work together well. Nothing was broken and no nicks found in my new home. Very grateful for that! Great job!

After checking Angies List, we called a few places to handle our move. We selected Helping Hands because of their great reviews, the knowledgeable and friendly office staff and their competitive pricing. We are so happy we chose them as this was the best moving experience we could have hoped for. The movers are punctual, kind and truly care about your belongings. They moved everything faster than we thought possilbe and there was zero damage to anything. They went out of their way to make the move as easy as possible for us and helped us with things they were not required to do including rearranging furniture more than once due to my indecisiveness. They went through room by room with us when they arrived and quickly went to work. When the furniture was brought to our new home they continued working as diligently as when they first arrived. The company charges by the hour and we were very happy to see that they worked quickly and the charges were a lot lower than expected. We are very thankful to Izzy and his crew. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them! Thank you Helping Hands!!

The price was about $100 more than estimated but still reasonable for the work done. The three men were pleasant, hard working and efficient. No problem with damage to furniture and they were careful to wrap furniture well to prevent damage. Getting the estimate and arranging move was very easy and efficient.

I would absolutely use them again. They were professional and they took care of everything. I couldn't believe how fast they were and how good of care they took of everything. They were amazing. It is the best moving company I've ever used. They were very professional, very nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend them. I was shocked because I've been moved by other moving companies before and I've always ended up with something damaged. They took such good care of everything. I did not have anything damaged or broken. They asked me to go up on the truck to see that everything was off and nothing was left on the truck. The price was very reasonable for the time. I had to move to the third floor and they were very patient. I did not balk at the price. They did the work quickly and I can't imagine anyone during it faster. They placed my furniture where I wanted it and they were good about moving it again if I wanted. They didn't take extra time but I might have because of some of the decisions I made in moving it from here to there. I didn't have any help and they just did everything. They went over and beyond what I expected them to do. They did whatever I wanted and they said it was fine and they didn't say it wasn't their time. All the workers were equally nice. They did whatever I needed done. They were ready to move me half an hour before it was time. They were careful with the floors and countertops. They didn't hit any doorframes or push things into doorframes. There were at least 3 guys and maybe more but I don't remember. They even got permission from dispatch to put some stuff back on the truck because I moved from a house into an apartment to dispose of it because I didn't have room for it. I was really desperate and I was almost in tears. I didn't pay them enough for what they did. They charged whatever we agreed to and they didn't charge extra for the extra work they did. After the initial charge, they charge by the quarter hour, not for a whole hour if it is not a full hour. They were so courteous and nice to me. I would highly recommend them. I was still packing while they were moving because I had so much stuff. They made it a smooth transition and put the boxes on the truck as I finished them. I should have been totally ready for them because they showed up right on time and I had told them not to come early.

They did a phenomenal job. Very well.

They were wonderful. They rolled out the mat to protect the flooring and wrapped the door to protect anything from being scratched.

Excellent! The crew was actually about 15 minutes early and had me loaded, transported and unloaded in one hour and forty five minutes. Absolutely no complaints about the move. The only thing I wasn't as wild about was being charged one hour of travel time at the $105 per hour rate. I understand travel time but seems it could be a little less. I was informed of the charge at the time I made arrangements however so I could have refused. Other than that, I have no complaints and would definitely recommend or use again.

The guys and Laurie, the receptionist were very helpful, flexible, and had great attitudes. We had a problem with our apartment not allowing us to use the loading dock for ten minutes to move the three pieces to the apartment even though no one was at the loading dock. "It is reserved" they stated. The guys ran the pieces from the street to the elevator. They truly went above and beyond their duty. We'll use them again when we move back in the house.

It went GREAT. Scheduled between 1 - 4, but finished previous job early so they called to see if they could come early. They arrived @ 11:30 and were finished before 1:30. Jason. Jimmy, & CiCi were very professional, polite - not just to me but to each other, reviewed what I had to store, and decided in what order the items needed to go on the truck. Very EXPERIENCED! They handled my stuff like I would have; wrapped what needed to be protected, took care not to touch the walls, and loaded the truck rapidly. When they unloaded the truck they again took great care with my things. They packed the storage unit with such efficiency, making sure nothing was stached on the furniture with protection, and nothing was too heavy as to cause damage to the item below. In fact, I asked why they didn't put a box in the vacant area inside the sofa which was sitting on the end. He said that might cause a crease in the fabric and they try to avoid causing any damage. I told you they were professional. I won't use anyone else.

They showed upon time at 9am. Each of the team of 3 came over and introduced themselves to me and my wife, and were extremely kind and courteous. We started with a tour of the house - they asked specific questions about what was/was not being moved. Then they jumped right in and got started. It was typical 90+ degrees and these guys never stopped. They have clearly worked together for a while - they never had to stop to talk about who needed help and how they were working moving large heavy pieces. The move required two trips (which was explained to me in my estimate) - and they were on top of it the whole time. I can't say enough about the positive attitude they had. These guys worked their butts off, and never complained. I told them to grab as much bottled water as they needed from my fridge, and they still asked permission each time and said please and thank you. These guys are professionals. I have had some poor experiences with movers in the past. I am very pleased that I found Helping Hands. They were extremely helpful and efficient. The estimate that I received was the best price I got. They charge by the hour - and I fully expected them to go over an hour two. Instead, they beat the estimate by an hour. I am sure that the estimate was completely on target - but the crew worked so hard they were able to beat it. I would highly recommend this moving company.

We had to reschedule the movers multiple times and each time Lori at Helping Hands was a pleasure to do business with. They were flexible, well priced, quick to return phone calls and overall just very pleasant! I am hopeful we will eventually get to move and am confident they will do an excellent job.

Jimmy, Tommy and Cici were the guys who did the moving for us. They were very efficient and worked very hard. They were working so hard, we actually asked them to take a short break and they said no! And kept working. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about them. We found them on Angie's List and they were absolutely amazing. I knew we were going to have a fabulous experience when they called to say they were just pulling in and apologizing for being 5 minutes late due to the GPS taking them next door! Who apologizes for being five minutes late??? Obviously, Helping Hands knows how to treat a customer. They went right to work, they were SO positive, upbeat, worked well together, whatever we wanted we got with a smile on their face. I can't say enough to recommend these guys!!! Thanks so much for making our move as positive a day as you could possibly have!

I called several moving companies about two weeks before the move. I was purchasing furniture from someone who lived on the third floor (no elevators) of a condo, but was not certain when I would be able to get the furniture from the seller. When I spoke with Laurie at Helping Hands, I knew I had found the company for the job. She asked about the number of pieces to move, locations of the condo where they would pick up and home where the furniture would be delivered. She explained in detail how they charged for their services. When she asked where I had heard of Helping Hands, I told her I found them on Angie's list, and she said they would deduct $20 for Angie's List customers. When I found out the date of the move, I called Laurie and she set up the date and reviewed method of charging. Two very professional, friendly movers arrived 15 minutes before the appointed time. The move was made with absolutely no problems at all. Please note that this was a very difficult move because they had to bring 7 pieces of furniture down from the third story using a very narrow stairway, When they delivered the furniture to my home, they had to take it to the second floor. Great care was taken to not scratch either the furniture or the wooden bannister of the stairway. I was very pleased with the entire job and would highly recommend this company.
