They showed up on time and came ready to work! They were very fast and I could tell they do this work for a living as they loaded up the truck fast and effeciently. Once it was loaded with all our stuff, they took it to our new place and unloaded it where we told them to. They were very fast and were a pleasure to work with. If/when I ever move again, I will definatelly give them a call.

Overall I was very pleased with every aspect of the move. From a good quote with a senior citizen discount to the moving of a a 20'x10' storage room full from floor to ceiling. The 3 man team they sent were very professional and very curtious. The were also very hard working fellows. They even were able to fit most of a 10x10' room at the same facitlity on the truck. Their billing method is the best I have seen. You are charged by the hour with half hour travel to and from the job for a total of one hour plus the hours worked. After a minimum they even break the hours into quarter hour segments so you are not charged for a full hour if they do not use it. I would hightly recommend HELPING HANDS MOVERS to anyone moving with a good price and great quality of work.

The information they provided before the move answered a lot of question we had. The day of the move they showed up on time. The three man crew was very professional but friendly too. They took a quick tour of the property to find out expectations from us and promptly started loading the truck, which only took about 2 hours. To clarify this, we already had all the dresser drawers out and moved and had taken a bunch of small stuff to the new house ahead of time. The speed at which they moved was amazing. At no time did they appear to be milking the clock or dragging things out. On arrival at the new house, the truck was unloaded fast, but they took care to be sure all furnishings were correctly placed, based on our requests. In closing, I would highly recommend this firm, if you are looking for a mover.

These guys are great and highly recommended. They are very friendly and accommodating. While they showed up on time, they were directed to the wrong apartment in the complex but did not charge us for the extra time which was about 30 minutes. The move lasted about 3 hours. They worked very fast and did not damage anything. All breakable items were wrapped and secured. I was struck by their professionalism and willingness to help and please. The move was uneventful and virtually stress free...what more can I say.

My overall experience with Helping Hands Moving was very positive. Nothing broken or damaged!! The 3 associates arrived as scheduled and were very friendly making sure to introduce themselves as they entered the home. Took a few minutes to go over the basic layout of the house and plan for the move. We signed the appropriate paperwork the work began. As one of the men said, "watch out... a tornado is about to blow through." The guys worked hard during the entire move. They never all took a break at one time... two guys were always working. Although it was 96 F outside... a Sunday... and were hiking up and down stairs, they had a great attitude about their work. I would use this company again!

These guys are the best , we had a disaster with Ocean Moving do not use them!! Helping hands were perfect!! Would DEFINITELY use again!!

They did very well. They were efficient. They were polite and easy to work with. They had a reasonable price and if I ever needed this type of work again I would consider them.

Fantastic service! Swift, careful and professional.

It was a very difficult move, but with these guys you would never know it. They were very effecient and polite. They were able to fit me in with less than 24 hours notice. Although the move took longer than anticipated (due to difficult stairs), the gentlemen never complained. I was very impressed with the details. The movers even remembered our names. Not only were they polite and personable to us, they were also nice to each other. I have had other movers and they got the job done, but with these two, it felt like we were with friends. They were very careful not to damage anything and appreciated how much our belonging meant to us. They treated our things as though they were their own. It was by far the best experience I've ever had with a moving company and I will always use this company.

I contacted Helping Hands based on a recommendation of the operator of the self-storage unit where the goods were stored. The self-storage company does not contract with or rep for Helping Hands, but the person I spoke with had personally used them and was pleased. The owner of the company answered the phone, explained in detail their services and charges, and based on that I decided to hire them. On the day before the move he called to confirm (before I could call him to confirm). They sent two men to help load a truck I had rented. They were on time, efficient, polite, and extremely effective. They reviewed the contract with me in advance, reviewed the charges, scope of work - everything was clear and well defined. The packer was so good at his job that I could have rented a smaller truck - two sizes small, in fact.. There were no damages, everything was handled carefully, they knew which items needed furniture pads, etc. They easily and pleasantly complied with a few special requests as to the order of certain items. I considered it a bargain. I would liked to have had them at the other end to unload!

These guys were wonderful. They showed up on time and carefully packed & unloaded our furniture. We have a 16' hand built wooden guideboat (similar to a canoe) in our lobby, which they took down & brought to the new office without it incurring a scratch. They even draped their blankets on the front door, so they wouldn't scratch the door or our furniture bringing it in. I chose them based on their Angie's List ratings & I can see why they got the A scores they did. I'd use them again & recommend them without reservation.

It went really well. I had an oversized leather sofa that would not fit in the elevator and I was prepared to put it in storage. I asked if they would consider hauling it up the stairwell to the 8th floor -and they did! They did a great job! I plan to use them for my next move (hopefully into a house).

The owner booked my move when I called to schedule. He also called to confirm a day before my move. The crew arrived a few minutes early to go over the details of the job. They moved all of my items, boxed and specialty - including a commercial grade treadmill, grandfather clock and art - from a highrise effectively using the reserved service elevator. The crew unloaded my items at the new 2-story home with care placing boxes and items in the rooms I requested on both floors. There were no broken items, no scratched floors, and they were extremely polite during the whole process.

Having recently moved we had a garage full of boxes to unpack. I asked only for the unpacking service. The price was outstanding, the service was FANTASTIC, she came out the day after I called which surprised me even though their add says same day service. The quickness of the upacking really surprised me. As well s the ability to put stuff away in logical places. I have had unpacking services before, but they NEVER helped to put the items away. My kitchen is now completely unpacked and in order. While just a kitchen may sound like a little job, there were over 25 well packed boxes. I would definitely use this company again!

It went very well. The men were polite and easy to work with.

They showed up a few minutes late, but I was called by Jim to let me know they needed to get a bite to eat. When they got to my storage unit they were ready to go despite the extreme heat. It was so hot that day I was glad they had covered parking at my storage unit. They had my storage unit unloaded in about an hour an a half. When the arrived at my condo they put down drop cloths to protect my carpet and away they went. They were very careful with my belongings and offered suggestions when asked. They were very conscience of the time and careful not to take advantage of my paying them by the hour. I was so impressed by my entire experience with Helping Hands I would highly recommend them to anyone. I got the referral from Angie's List and grateful for their service as well.

I contacted Helping Hands Movers based on the information I got from Angie's List. A professional job all the way! I had to reschedule moving days twice because of the bad weather associated with tropical storm Fay. Jim was very understanding and helpful in adjusting moving days for me. I ended up moving on a Sunday. The crew showed up on time and went right to work. They worked steadily loading the truck and then met me at the new home to unload. Everything went like clockwork. They were careful with my stuff and all was moved without any hassle. Very efficient and friendly.

Exceptionally well. They were able to work around parking issues at the condo and were extremely friendly and helpful. They did the work very quickly and were able to maneuver the furniture into difficult places without scuffing the walls or doors. Very professional; I would strongly recommend them.

Based on Angie's list, I went with Helping Hands and wasn't disappointed. Everything went very smoothly, including having to move a few pieces of furniture OVER an upstairs balcony. The owner even came out to supervise this process which went without a hitch. Because the job is hourly, I'd been warned by friends that some companies will work slowly, but the staff of 3 men were very rapid - no dilly dallying here. The job was completed within budget and within the estimated amount of time. I've recommended Helping Hands to several friends. The only cumbersome part (but I know this is the same with most movers) is that they only take cash. The staff, however, calculated the amount and I went to the bank while they finished up.

I had a truck coming from Atlanta to Jacksonville and called Helping Hands to help in the delivery and unloading. They were very flexible as the delivery timeframe continued to change. They offered suggestions on dealing with the freight company. Once the truck was here, they sent three men to unload the truck. They were respectful and very friendly with my son. They went above and beyond in placing the furniture and boxes where they belonged.
