Helping Hands Movers provided me an hourly rate quote by phone and date they could perform the move. The price seemed reasonable. No nonsense fees you will find with other companies, such as fuel surcharge etc., so I scheduled the day and had most everything pre-packed and ready to go on move day. They called me when they were in route and arrived right on time. They moved quickly and treated our possessions with care and respect. They were also friendly and had a good cense of humor. They completed loading the items from our 3 br, 2ba house and unloaded the items in our new home approximately 15 miles away in about 6 hours. We were very pleased at the efficiency and care taken by Helping Hands during our move. I couldn't have imagined it going any smoother. I would definitely recommend this company and would utilize them for future moving needs.

Once I placed my request I received a call from Lori and she guided me with ease thru the process! I received a confirmation call up to the day of the move. I then received a call from the movers Confirming the location and they were enroute. Upon arrival Ronnie introduce me to himself and the team and assessed the job. He was very professional and able to calm a nervous wife! The ultimate professional! After the walk thru Ronnie and company backed the truck and went to work. They padded the doors and made sure nothing was damaged. Once loaded they promptly arrived to the destination. Once again they got right to work! Unfortunately one of the guys (Jessie) cut his hand really bad but he worked thru the pain and Ronnie picked up the slack! I would definitely hire Helping Hands Again! Ask for Ronnie & Jessie, I'm sure all the teams are good but the service they provided I don't need to see anyone else! (Feel better Jessie and thanks Ronnie!)

Getting an estimate online was quick and easy, and the follow-on booking was simple as well. Got a call two days before the move to confirm everything. On the day of the move, the movers arrived an hour outside of the scheduled window due to being held up on the previous job. As soon as they drove up it started to sprinkle rain. They loaded the furniture quickly and expertly as the rain got steadily worse. By the time the truck arrived at the other house, it was a full-on downpour, but the guys got everything inside relatively quickly and relatively dry. They were good-humored and professional the entire time. I'd definitely use Helping Hands again.

On time, great communicators, worked very fast, NO BROKEN ITEMS and followed instructions. Really terrific crew.

The guys showed up ahead of schedule and did an efficient job of getting everything loaded on the truck. They were very careful with everything and even padded the door of the new house so that the door would not be damaged. These guys were the best movers I ever had will diffinately recommend them to others, as I already have.

I would rate then highly across the board. I would use them in the future.

I would recommend them. They did a good job. They were fast and proficient. They were very professional. They didn't mess anything up or damage any furniture. They did just what was expected of them.

Movers were very fast. Load, transit and unload completed in two hours! Personnel were courteous and easy to get along with. My only complaint is that the company does not perform a thorough time estimate, since they charge by the hour. Not an issue for my small amount of furniture, but I have witnessed other people being abused by other movers that stretch out the duration when charging by the hour.

I thought they did a really good job; they were very careful with my furniture and my belongings. They took extra care to protect the wood floors that they were moving the furniture across. I will use them again in the future.

The Helping Hands movers arrived on time, packed everything up quickly and were ready to go to the new apartment in less than 20 minutes. Upon arrival at the new apartment, the moving team hustled to get all my belonging safely unpacked and in my new apartment. All this was done with time to spare. I came in at the minimum price. I will call Helping Hands again for my moving needs.

I've moved several times over the past 15 years. This was one of the best moves. Very hard working bunch on a hot day. I have a lot of books, LPs, and other heavy boxes which posed no problems for this crew. They were careful to pad everything and managed to move a couple of our heavier furniture items (>400lbs) without an issue or having to completely take them apart. They even padded doorways to protect trim work and were careful on the newly re-finished wood floors. Unlike some places, they were willing to take our outdoor patio items, including some large container pots. They also took away an old washer/dryer from the new home for free. Will definitely call again for any move. (Sorry this is long over due but I don't forget people who do great work.)

Excellent move. I have moved over thirteen times in the military, and this ranks as one of the easiest moves. Ronnie and the gang did a great job with our move. They arrived on time, three movers and one truck. They were in constant motion all day long, positive attitude, courteous, and making sure that they were doing a good job (always working towards ensuring that the move was going well, and what we wanted done was being completed). A couple things stand out: - Furniture wrapping. They had plenty of pads and didn't stint on wrapping everything up, and protecting all of our furniture. - Time estimate of work. Ronnie hit it right on, said the job would take roughly 6-6.5 hours, and completed it on time. The guys were always in motion and were never dragging their feet! - Courteous and Professional. From the introduction, the moving to them leaving, professional and courteous to a fault. I will definitely use Helping Hands movers again, and will specifically ask for Ronnie and his team. They did a great job. NOTHING GOT BROKEN on our move, no walls or floors damaged, they took EXCELLENT care of our belongings and houses when they were moving. Well worth the money spent to get a quality and professional moving team.

There were no issues. There were three of them. They showed up on time like they said they would. They did the job pretty quickly. They were pretty friendly. They worked hard and got it knocked out quick. I would recommend them.

I called Helping Hands Movers one day prior to my move. I was informed of how much the move would cost and what time the movers would show up. The movers called as they were on their way the next day and showed up on time. They were quick and efficient during the whole moving process not taking any breaks. It was a very hot day and the move involved going up and down stairs. The movers were hard working, friendly and careful with our stuff.

The Movers were Awesome! Courteous and VERY fast! They got all of our move completed in half the time I thought it would take and for half the price! Definitely recommend using these guys! if we EVER need anything moved again, we are definitely going to used them!

They did an awesome job!! Worked super fast, with only two people they moved me from the 3rd floor. They did not damage one item of mine. Would definitely recommend them and use them again!

I WAS EXPECTING THEM AT 9AM BUT THEY CALLED ABOUT 8:30 AND SAID THEY HAD TO GET BREAKFAST, THEY ARRIVED AT 9:30 AND STARTED LOADING THE FURNITURE AND WAS FINISHED AT 10:30, LEFT AND ARRIVED AT THE NEW HOUSE AROUND 11:00AM, FINISHED ABOUT 12:30. THESE 2 GUYS DID A REALLY GOOD JOB FROM START TO FINISH. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BANG THE WALLS. THANKS GUYS.. VERY REASONABLE RATES.

They were excellent. They were the most can do three young men. They could do anything I asked, they did above and beyond. They were polite and professional. I just cannot say enough nice things about them. They were very professional and respectful. Nothing broke and everything was exactly the way I wanted. They were right one time, they called me to let me know they were on their way and they were right there on time. They bill by the quarter hour so if they went over by fifteen minutes you only have to pay for the fifteen minutes extra service, so that's really nice. I thought their pricing was very affordable. It was a local move and when they got there they said that they were there to make my life easy. It was very stress relief for me so I have to give them a lot of compliments. I expected to pay about that much price so it was right on.

They are very efficient and conscientious about not damaging things. They also are conscientious about working within a limited amount of time which saves money in terms of additional charges. Basically they did everything within their two hour minimum time frame so there were no additional charges beyond what we had hoped for. I would use them again in the future.

From the initial call with Laurie, the experience was excellent. The move ended up being done on 2 different days. Stevie & Robbie helped me the first day & Jimmy & CC on the 2nd day. They were professional, friendly and willing to do anything to make this an easy experience. This is a family owned & operated business & they work as a family. I would definatley use then again & will refer to any of my friends.

Helping Hands Movers is difficult - to say the least - to work with. Called this company (along with 3 others) to get an estimate for a full service residential move. Whereas all the other companies sent me a moving estimator within a day or two, the front person for Helping Hands Movers initially refused to do so, saying that I should call other companies first. Upon my insisting, she set up an appointment 2 weeks off. After 3 days, when all the other companies' estimates were in, I called again, explaining that I really could not wait 2 weeks just for one company. A new appointment was set (by a different employee), one week off. They did not show up: the initial front person called me at the end of the scheduled appointment window to tell me that their guy was on his way: I explained that this was not the time we had agreed on. Her response was to say that she did not set this appointment (which is true: there seems to be poor communication, and total lack of management, among employees). I again had to negotiate with her for a new appointment, which she could not do right away apparently: she would need to call me back. At this point, I decided that an employee who thinks that customers must adapt to the company's constraints and schedules has no place in a reputable business, and my interactions so far did not bode well for any future transactions: I cancelled the visit, will not deal with them ever again, and would not recommend "Helping" Hands Movers to anyone.

Fabulous Job! The moving team consisted of three men, Ronnie G., Ronnie P. & Lonnie H. They arrived on time and went straight to work. My three bedroom was fully furnished, living room, dining room, two queen size bedroom sets & office. Lots of furniture that was moved in three hours flat! They were amazingly efficient and barely took a break for a drink of water even though it was extremely hot that day. I've never seen anything like it! I can't say enough about the great job they did for us! They were courteous and friendly and just a super team. I was thoroughly impressed and will certainly be recommending them to anyone who needs a mover - and I highly recommend them to anyone on Angie's List looking for a moving company!

They were quick, reliable and affordable. They worked really hard to move me as fast as possible because they were charging by the hour. I was completely satisfied. I thought they were fairly priced.
