I received a confirmation call from Helping Hands two days before the move and they reviewed appointment times, cost and acceptable payments. On the day of the move Jimmy and CeCe showed up promptly at the designated time and while one reviewed the contract with me the other got started. They moved quickly and efficiently all the while taking care to protect my belongings. I explained we would be making two stops so they took the time to keep deliveries separate. I full truck, two stops and three hours later the move was complete and I will never move myself again. Thanks for your service.

Helping Hands are a remarkable local mover who went out of their way to satisfy us. They were prompt, curtious, and I might add, entertaining. These young men were extrordinary! I highly recommend them in local or long distance moves. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, if I ever had to move again, they would be on top of my list.

Helping Hands Movers took what can be a very stressful time and made it as painless as possible. The office staff was great to work with in scheduling, even when we had a couple of date changes, and the moving crew was on time, respectful of us and our belongings, prompt, and courteous. I would recommend to anyone looking for moving services in the area. Thanks, guys!

They arrived 15 minutes late but worked efficiently so the finished in two hours. They were careful and moved furniture without a problem. I would use again.

The team of 3 men moved my furniture with great care. I had 3 huge armoires and a 5 x 6 glass curio which were heavy, awkward and valuable and they survived the trip without any damage. The team was courteous and extremely competent. I will definitely move with them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Israel, Jimbo and Carl. They came to my house on time, worked efficiently, and were careful, polite and friendly. When they realized the size of the move necessitated a bigger truck, they quickly called in a second vehicle to help with the move. We moved in the same day as closing, and they wrangled with the awkward schedule of the day admirably. There was no damage to any belongings or the properties. Even though I think they were there a bit longer than they anticipated, they were as professional at the end of the day as when it began. A+ on all accounts.

The movers were professional and timely. They were conscious not to damage anything. They were also patient with our very curious small children. We would use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Three strong young men in their early to late 20s showed up with their truck. It took a couple of days to pack and move everything about 5 miles away. They took great care in packing and loading and unloading. Included dividing out some items for a rental storage unit. They were fast and efficient even though the weather was brutal. Everything made it through without damage. The only delay was one day mechanical problems with the truck, but they got another truck and were soon back to completing the move. Very good service for a very fair price.

Arrived on time and willingly did all that was asked of them. Showed concern for our property and how it was handled. Charged the agreed upon price without any surprise add on. Pleasant staff but one person still training though he was well supervised. Overall, very happy and would use them again. Had to guess at price as couldn't remember. This was a very short move but a complete move none the less.

Excellent service by Robbie and Big Bird(not sure of his real name) Very prompt. Very courteous and Very careful. Great Job will be using them again.

Helping Hand Movers were by far the best movers that I have ever had. The movers were courteous and very cooperative with all of my request. They were on time and ready to work. My move took longer than I had expected because of stairs and that I have very large , expensive furniture, but they were careful and make the move go very smooth. I am well please and would highly recommend this company to others.

The guys from Helping Hands Movers were outstanding! They arrived 5 minutes early, covered our stairway bannister and doorways with blankets, and had all of our furniture (3 bedrooms, 1900 sqft) loaded into our PODS container in less than an hour and a half without as much as a scratch on anything. Outstanding service! We will be utilizing them again when we unload our PODS in a couple months. I would recommend, and have recommended, them to everyone I know. Thanks a lot for the great service.

The guys showed up on time, worked hard and were careful with our things. They only moved our furniture as most everything else was moved already by us. They underestimated the quote but overall still well worth it.

Overall, the experience was good.

I truly don't know where to begin. The young lady I spoke with Laurie was very kind but the movers were GREAT!!!!!! I'd used several movers in Jax and for the first time I can say ... I was very pleased!!!! I found them here on Angie's List because the other movers I'd contacted had given me incorrect pricing and I wasn't happy; so I looked here and walllllaaaaaa. The movers were kind, gentle, courteous, professional and all of them had the best sense of humor. They moved my items as though they were their own. One guy said 'ma'am if I didn't have you laughing you'd be stressed out in here'. I had to laugh again because he was right! The prices were fair but when it is measured to the service provided they are cheating themselves because the quality, care, professionalism and compassion far exceeded the price paid. I would truly recommend them to anyone I know; truly worth every dime. If there was a grade higher than 'A' I'd give it to them!

Jimmy and James were on time, very polite, careful with the house and items to be unloaded. They were very efficient. We will use them the next time we need to move because it isn't easy finding good, dependable and friendly movers. They were even done ahead of schedule!

After I posted the below review Jim Hamelton contacted me the next morning. He personally apologized and came out to look at each piece of furniture. He than setup Tony his repair guy to come out to fixed each piece like they were new. Very seldom do have a bad experience and get such great follow up from the business owner. Jim is a fantastic Christian guy and his number one goal was to resolve the issue to my satisfaction and above. You can trust Helping Hands will be there on time and if anything goes wrong you can trust Jim will make it right. Thank you Jim. They showed up on time and showed a good attitude for much of the move. Damage: During the move they broke a crockpot and after I paid them cash I asked about it. I was shown where I signed their document stating they are not held responsible for anything not boxed. They documented it on the bill and said I would receive a call that was about a month ago so far I've not heard from anyone. We?re almost unpacked now and the other damages are a cabinet, antique radio, vanity and washing machine. I?ve not said anything to them because I?m sure they will show me where I signed their document stating they are not held responsible. The cabinet top is coming apart, radio is chipped, vanity lid does not close correctly and the washing machine is leaking somewhere from the back. I've only replaced the washing machine at the cost of $600 because momma was not happy. By the hour: I was quoted over the phone and for a 3 bedroom 2 bath house move and assured it would take one truck load. I assumed they would come in with a 48ft trailer but they came in with a box truck, I should have asked. Long story short it took 2 trips so I was charged twice as much as I budgeted for. Total charge was $915 for a 3bedroom move and 15miles between homes. Recommendation: Do not leave anything in your cabinets or desks because they tip everything up on a hand-truck to move as fast as possible. I was spoiled by my last moves, they used straps and two people to move the furniture. Have a rep come out to your home and give you a quote. If it?s valuable move it yourself.

We had a great pair of movers. They moved everything quickly, no issues, or damage. We were nervous about hiring movers as our family has had horror stories of moving. But this was the opposite. They were polite, moved our items with care, and didn't waste our time. We will use them when we move again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Movers we're extremely pleasant, friendly, and efficient. I can't say enough awesome things about the company, from the initial call to the last piece of furnishings placed in home. They were very professional, and ensured no damage to furniture or walls. I have, and will, continue to recommend them to anyone needing something moved.

Everything went exactly as it should. I found the company on the BB website as a member and in good standing. I contacted them through email and received a prompt and informative response with a detailed quote. The woman in their office was friendly and specific in answering questions during phone calls. They called to confirm the day before as promised. A 3 man team arrived and was friendly and effecient. They quickly moved all of our items out of our apartment and down the stairs. I was nervous about the stairs- I do recommend to all to wrap special items carefully. We did not have any items break, but rolling boxes down stairs on a dolly does involve impact to the boxes. The men did not make me (a woman) feel uncomfortable in any way, and were friendly to our dog. The entire moving process went quickly and smoothly; a stark contrast to all other aspects of our move. We are thankful for the way our move was handled and eagerly recommend Helping hands to anyone.

Although they showed up slightly behind schedule, once they got going they moved the items out quickly and moved them into they new unit even quicker.

My experience with Helping Hands was great. They showed up on time and were very efficient at loading a Storage Unit into their truck for delivery to our new home. They even took a little extra time to pick up a couple of things from the condo we were renting, so I wouldn't have to get another truck to move the big items myself. All in all, the experience was great and I would highly recommend them. If I ever need movers again, I would use them for sure.
