Had an internal scheduling issue but took steps to make sure service was completed on the day promised. HVAC technician was very thorough and competent. I will use again in the future.

We had Hammond install a new American Standard 15 seer heat pump. We were able to get 0% financing for 12 months as well as a 10 year parts and LABOR warranty through American Standard for an additional $500.00. with this unit we also received a $500.00 instant rebate from American Standard and a $250.00 rebate from JEA. (The rebate from JEA apparently is quite a hassel so Tammy at Hammond said that they discount the unit and then they apply for rebate for their customers.) Our old unit had a very bad leak so Brandon came out two days before the scheduled install and added freon to our old system to get us through until Monday. THANK YOU BRANDON! The installation went smooth and we were very happy with the workmanship performed. Hammond also gave us a 1 year maintenance program free (spring and fall tune-up /inspection) . We are planning on having Hammond service this unit yearly . Hammond gets an A++++. Thanks!

Our existing system was 20 years old. We started out thinking we needed air duct cleaning, but soon learned that our existing system might need to be replaced. The system air handler had dirt and mildew and the condenser coils were showing signs of corrosion. The blower motor was also starting to make the sounds of a failing bearing. I contacted Hammond and Brandon came out to quote on duct cleaning and a replacement system. Brandon is very straight forward and he takes the time to explain what will and will not work and why. He comes across as an honest and sincere person. He takes pride in that his family name is on the company. His price was not the lowest, but very competitive and the system he recommended seemed to be a good value for the money. I did not want to get a low price but have to compromise on the quality of the installation. I decided to have Hammond do the installation. Our old system started to fail a few days before our scheduled new system installation. Brandon offered advice on how to keep the old system running and what could be done if it did fail. (it was a holiday weekend) On the install day, the old system finally gave out. The technicians showed up on time and got right to work. The team was very professional and showed respect for our house. By the end of the day, our new system was up and running. The cool air was a welcome relief on a hot FL day. Brandon followed up after the installation to ensure that the work was done properly, to explain the new thermostat and to answer our questions. We are very happy with the results. From the estimate until the job was completed. They were very professional and courteous. We did have one problem, the guys broke a waterline in my ceiling (causing damage to the ceiling and walls) HOWEVER, they jumped on getting it repaired IMMEDIATELY. Me being in business myself, I can say that sometimes mistakes happen...it is what you do to correct those mistakes that really makes your company. They handled the problem very quickly from the start. The guys were wonderful. I would highly recommend them again and again. They were not the lowest in price, but they were not the highest. They were right in the middle. Awesome company to work with!!!! They went over and above to make sure that I was pleased.

I sent an email request and followed up in the am after not hearing anything. The email request had not been processed. I asked for a repair and overall maintenance on the system and told they should be able to get to it today. At approx. 4:00 pm I was contacted by tech and told they would be right out after running a part to someone else........... At 6 he arrived as it was getting dark and was told they cannot do maintenance that day. Tech decided it was dirty coils and if they had to cut the tubes and lines they would have to do that tomorrow and it would be around $500. If he can reach the coils the price would be about $200. He decided he could reach the coils and then came back with a $300 price tag. I asked why he could not remove the front panel and he did and he could easily reach the area. He sprayed a chemical and used a shop vac. No parts were proveded, only labor for about an hour.

We recieved our estimate the same day we called. The price was much less than I expected. We contracted for a 13 seer system that should save us 20% on our energy. A couple of days later a team of nice men came and cleaned our ducts, spraying them for molds and allergens. The next day another team of nice men came and installed the heat pump with its new pad, the air handler unit and the thermostat. We had cold air blowing within 4 hours. Both days the owner stopped by at the beginning and again at the end. We will recommend them to everyone.

We had done our research on them. They were excellent. We got rebates which brought the price down by a few thousand dollars. We desperately needed it. There was nothing that we disliked about them. My parents got free estimates and Hammond?s was in the middle. They were very nice and prompt. They also offered my parents senior citizens? discount. The people that came out were hard workers. It took them the whole day to finish the work.

Every person was professional and talented. Mr. Hammond came out on the first service call and explained that the prior repair was with a generic motor and the fan blade was on incorrectly. He showed me the issue on the equipment. I asked if I should replace the equipment and he said it didn't need to be replaced yet. He noted that had they had the original motor he could get a new one under the warranty, something the Ocean State never mentioned when they replaced the fan motor with a generic one. He did get a fan blade under warranty, which took a while, but was at no cost.

The estimate was free and very detailed, which we really liked. If the logistics of the installation had been different they would have gotten our business.

They offered a fair price for the equipment that I wanted. The equipment seemed to be suitable for my home after reading the reviews on the website and after talking to some people. The owner came out to take measurements. It is a family business and I felt comfortable working with a family business. The price that they charged was the best out of the 4 vendors that I had called out to give me an estimate. There were a couple of issues with the system itself but they came out each time to fix it. I had them out about few days ago since the air conditioner wasn?t working in the evening. They then came out on the following morning to fix it. There were some hiccups in the installation but I wouldn?t blame them for any of those hiccups. They were very friendly and personable. I would use their services in the future too.

He was really good. My experience was excellent. He was an honest contractor and reasonable. He was fair. He stuck to his price unless he had to do some extra work. He would keep me informed on why there were any changes. He even donated about three hours of work. He is an honest and good man.

Steve's boss called the morning of the service call explained that he was running late, but was on his way. He arrived , diagnosed the problem and resolved the problem by checking the pressure levels and determined it needed some additional freon. Since this problem has been ongoing for some years just getting worse he determined it was a very small leak and we could see how it responded to the additional freon. The unit has preformed well for at least 3 months without any problems.
