Green Energy Spray Foam Insulation

The 'Big Deal' seems to be what would traditionally be called 'False Advertising'. I was told the $149 voucher actually had no redeemable value and could only be applied to a much larger purchase, in my case about $2,500. There is no $600 service so the $149 'deal' is just a hook. After realizing the deceptive nature of this deal there was no way I'd commit to a much larger purchase from this company.

It went fine. I just didn't realize how expensive insulation was. I had gotten estimates from other sources that had a much lower price, but I think that was due to them using a lower grade of product. I need to get a better understanding of the cost and types of insulation before I purchase something like this again. Thank you for issuing me a refund and sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Dear Angie, the big deal for the spray foam insulation, is miss leading, after the representative visited the house he said that the $149 is only a coupon. This type of work cost Thousands of dollars. and the ad said a value of $600 and the member price is $149 with a savings of 75%... valid for the whole-house attic insulation projects for existing homes. I didn't read anywhere that its only a coupon or a credit towards the cost of the whole project cost.. Please kindly reply.

It was not as thorough as I expected. I believe his goal was to sell us foam insulation.

The experience was overall enjoyable and somewhat informative. I'm not sure if it is worth $111 though, well at least the inspection I got. Maybe the rest of the house is in good condition but it did feel like the visit was more to sell insulation than to inspect the house. However, with that being said, I did go with this company for spray foam insulation and I was pleased with that experience too.

This is the 2nd time I have used Green Energy for my needs. Camille's team came in and provided window tinting over my large 3 windows in the front of the house which now has made a very quick impact on temperature coming through these windows. Camille is talented when it comes to evaluating what types of upgrades will provide you the biggest bang for the buck. He can calculate the time for you to get a return on your investment based on a very precise and educated experience level. Green Energy treated my attic to a generous level of a spray foam package that allows you to go in the attic even on the hottest days and allowing the temperature to be only slightly above the temperature in the house. This is amazing on the difference it has made in keeping our house more comfortable and saving me money. Camille also completed a energy audit and helped me come up with some great ideals how to save money and sort them out on least expensive to most expensive options in which I have already incorporated several of these great ideals. I am actually having my plastic bubble skylights changed out at his suggestion this Thursday which should also help make a big difference in sunlight shining in which previously had a temperature of 130 degrees which was radiating into the house. I am very impressed with his company but his business has increased due to the number of customers asking him to come back and provide more upgrades. If your looking for a honest guy that will treat you right this is the guy to call. Total professional team of employees here. I have ask him to give me a quote for a solar hot water heater which I am hopefully planning this for my next big upgrade.

Overall, this was a very positive experience. I feel the company represents themselves well. I had an estimate by another company and, I can say, the professionalism and care taken by Green Energy is head and shoulders above that competitor. The character of the people who worked the jobs over the course of the weekend were respectful and courteous. It was the little things that meant a lot like taking there shoes off before walking through the house for inspections or adjustments without being asked. The company talks about finding the right people for the job and I think they have succeeded in that goal. Everyone was extremely pleasant and hardworking. I can't wait to see how the new insulation in my 1927 Avondale home will perform in the hot summer months to come.

Green Energy worked their schedule to fit our many other projects being done to our home. Arrived when they said they would. I used the special offer for insulation through Angies list.

Things went well. The only thing that I was not comfortable with is that I thought that I was paying the advertised price; maybe I failed to read the FINE Print. I also was not comfortable with the receipt being emailed which I have never found amount over 800 emails in my account; I would much rather preferred a paper copy.

My experience with Green Energy Builders & Solutions was okay. I mean, I didn't have any reason to complain, but I wasn't overly impressed. I do know that someone was going to charge me $300 for it one time, so $99.00 was a good deal. I really felt like he talked down to me, though. So I don't think he was very professional. I would absolutely not use their services in the future.

Easy to work with . Professional installation. I am very pleased with the service provided and would recommend Green Energy for blown insulation for the attic.

Green Energy Builders did a fine job. JEA came and preformed an inspection of the work and agreed. The house instantly felt warmer and i am sure this summer it will really help the air conditioning costs. It was a bit more money than i expected but it is going to pay off in no time. My JEA bill is almost 1/2 what it was last month! I will and have recommended this company to friends.

Sales man showed up when promised and did what appeared to me to be a good investigation of attic condition. Asked what I was looking for and what I was trying to accomplish. I explained goals and he gave me a very good explanation of options that would get me where I wanted to be. Only reason I did not go with this company is that a good friend went with another and - well good experience carried a lot of weight. have to admit this was my second choice and missed being number 1 by a slim margin.

Representative of the company was the owner and he was very knowledgeable, but I didn't get many actionable suggestions.

I didn't like them. When they came to do an estimate they immediately try to start selling me a whole other stuff that I wasn't interested at all. I was very upsetting. Their responsive was pretty good and their punctuality; they came when they said they were gonna come. It was mediocre; it wasn't terrible but it wasn't great.

Using an infrared imaging device, Mr. Touma conducted an audit regarding home insulation. My levels were well below today's standards and I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Touma for 11/29/2013 to have insulation blown in. This service has also been performed and reviewed.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. They were good. They were very informative about energy consumption, very helpful in helping reduce that. The work was very good. The interaction was very good.

It was a very good deal. He was a good contractor and very nice. They were here when they said they would be and cleaned up after themselves. When they opened the attic access old insulation fell down but they cleaned up the whole mess. He helped make sure we knew how the vents in the house should be set up. I was quite happy. All the scheduling was done online and it was very efficient. He was able to schedule the appointment so I could take advantage of a local electric company rebate. He made sure to get the work done in time and turn in the paperwork. I didn't know about the rebate until he let us know. I was very impressed.

Camille Touma came to my house and the primary solution pushed was foam insulation in my attic. The price seemed high and hard to recover, but I am still interested. Comfort means a lot. Camille determined that my windows and doors were good and current insulation was standard and to code. He helped me understand the differences in temperatures around my house and how to improve them. Confirmed the my NEST thermostat was a great product.

He did great. He was on time, did exactly the price he quoted me, did not try to lay the price on me, and he recommended some things throughout the house that would help me save money on my electric bill. He did the service quickly and even gave me a tip on how to get an attic fan at a discount rate. He was an honest guy and he was good. I think the service had definitely helped my electric bill and he did absolutely what he said he would do. They were fast and the reason that he did that is because JEA, which is our electric company, was giving a discount if you had your attic insulated before the end of the month and he made sure he accommodated that too, so that was nice. Everything was excellent.
