Do not use!! My AC went out last week. The unit is only 5 years old. I only started to have issues when they started serving my unit last year. I have since spent lots $$ with them. I called them on Sunday, 8/18 and was told no one works on the weekend and best they can do is Wednesday 12-4. They showed up at 3:40 on Wednesdays. Told me the compressor is bad but under warranty so it would be $2200 for labor, 6 hours, or (~$350 an hour). I felt like I had no options since they were charging me $1100 for the refrigerant (~$200 a pound). He said it would be taken from the price of the install. Plus he charged me $89 for the appointment and $89 for dispatch. All sounded wrong. But it was 88 degrees in the house what can I do? He also told me they would come back to add refrigeration if it stop working because he was not sure how bad the issues was. Fast forward to today (3 days later) it is once again not working. I called and they push me to dispatch. They tell me they do not add more refrigeration, only once, and that the $1100 is not to be taken off the $2200 labor. She was also very dismissive of my problem and needed to call her manager. An hour later, I get a text that they missed my call. I thought it had to do with her calling me back. I call back and she was very rude and told me she is still waiting Her manager. I told them I would follow up because I called on Thursday and Friday and they hung up on me. In the end they are over priced and run on commission. This makes it concerning on what is true and what is not. I would abound them and find a location shop that doesn’t try to upsell everything to you.

Hope you have better luck than we did with Fenwick. Tech came out as the outside part of our Heat Pump - the fan - wasn’t working. House was being heated by “Emergency Heat” - which means higher electric bill. $149 and 2 hours later, the tech said everything inside and outside was working fine - “It must be the thermostat.” He told me they could get one for 2524 or so. I said 25 dollars? He laughed and said $2524. He had a salesperson out in 3 hours, offering to sell us a brand new heat pump for $28k, or a cheaper one for only $22k. I said we’d get a second opinion. An a/c company we had used before sent a tech out, who said in 10 minutes (and $75) that the top circuit board was dead. He got us a new one two days later, and in 5 minutes, we had heat again. I guess the Fenwick tech was … wrong. We won’t make the mistake of calling them again for heat pump issues.

I worked there for 2 years. Hired on as a helper and was promised after a year I’d get a promotion. Not only did I not get the promotion, my trainer did not train me properly. They stuck me with a garbage technician who flooded people’s houses out like he was a walking tsunami. Management does not care about you. Management cares more about what time they get home not you. Sure the hours are long, but they complain when you take your PTO. Expect your paychecks to be short too. Not only will they not get your paycheck right, but when they correct it they’ll tax it too. Yearly reviews are also garbage. They’ll grade you on everything; call backs, non warranties, how much damage you’ve done to a customer’s home. It isn’t bad that they review it with you, but some will effect you negatively on your closing rate if all you did was assist a technician and you didn’t sell it. I’m extremely upset regarding how they went about hiring me and training me. Extremely unprofessional and service calls are extremely slow. They were hiring way too many people when there wasn’t any work to be done. Some technicians even complained because they weren’t getting their 40 hours. The place is a train yard with more wrecked than salvageable. STAY AWAY.

We currently have no compliants on the work done on our A/C unit. The work was done in July and no issues. The major problem is with the tech, the billing department and overall customer service after the work was done. It was explained to the technician, at the time of service, that the unit and all part were less than 4 years old. He did not bat an eye at charging us the full amount for the service provided. Low and behold, the unit had an all parts warranty for 10 years. I find it hard to believe, with how knowledgeable he was about the unit itself, that he did not know this was under warranty! Next, I call the office to discuss the need for reimbursement for the part from the manufacturer. Initially, was told they would look into and someone with billing would call me back within 72hrs. To this day, no one has called me back, despite several more calls asking for updates and further discussion. Eventually, a credit did go back on my credit card which was insignificant compared to the bill. At this time, they charged almost $900 for 45 minutes of labor and are refusing to discuss or provide an itemized invoice to explain how this figure was determined. My family, with multiple households, have used this company for many years. They will no longer be getting any of our business.

We are so please with what he did and how he worked to get us a great price. Fenwick should be happy to have him. Besides his work, what an incredibly nice man! I was charged $85 for the initial visit to determine how much it would cost and to work up the bid. I was then quoted $1,000 for three hot / cold faucets. I thought it was very high but really needed to get the job done on a specific date as the water has to be shutoff at my entire farm to do it , so I agreed. The day the technician showed up ( who was not the original person that nodded the job), I was told they did not bring the right faucets and could not perform the job. The new technician then went about designing a completely different faucet as the original tech did a poor job of notating what was necessary and taking proper pictures. I called the main number and asked to speak to a manager . I was told that managers can take up to 24 hours to call back . Not only do these people not know what they are doing, but they charged me for terrible service , and have I have yet to hear back from a manager with any sort of an apology or rush to make it right. The poor second tech who was just trying to do his job was put in a very bad situation by his company. He tried to offer a faucet that they would try and build , but I had lost complete faith in their abilities to know what was needed or do the right job. . I would not recommend them to anyone.

BEWARE Fenwick Plumbing is a predatory company that grossly overcharges for their work. I had the misfortune of my hot water heater breaking on a Friday afternoon, which resulted in them charging me an exorbitant amount to fix it. They charged us $1,700+ to install a 50 gallon water heater that I found out they are able to purchase wholesale for $300. This means they charged me more than $1400 for a less than 3 hour installation (more than $450 per hour), Doctors charge less. The only reason I’m giving them one star instead of zero stars is due the installer James be very courteous and professional. I repeatedly attempted to contact Fenwick to discuss my displeasure and never received any return response from them. DO NOT USE FENWICK PLUMBING!!!

Our toilets have been slow draining. We called for an appointment and two techs were able to come out the next day. They showed up on time and took a looked into both bathrooms and outside where the drain left the house, determined it was the septic system in about 5 minutes. They then asked for a payment of $179. I realize that they need to charge a fee for their time but $179 for 5 minutes of their time - even an hour - is too high, especially since they did NOTHING! Will not be using Bill Fenwick Plumbing again if this will be the price for a visit.

I hired today Bill Fenwick to replace shower head and check on fridge plumbing leak. The person came and said it would cost me $130 for changing the shower head + $89 for service fee, even though I had provided my own replacement shower head. We have used bill fenwick before (for replacing shower head) and they would not charge a service fee for this activity before. I just gave him the service fee of $89, for coming and told I would never use them again for price gouging[even though, I had 50% off service fee coupon, the guy was so arrogant not to give me a discount] and get off my property. I cannot see why I should give them another chance, for any issues. On top of this, when I called back the service number to give my feedback, they never wanted my feedback complaint and disconnected the call.

David and Lee arrived within the stated time window and completed the replacement within the quoted timeframe. The job was neat, clean, and professional. The only challenge we had was getting the pricing right. I should have reconfirmed the pricing quoted by Jennifer before David started the job. I did not do that since the pricing quoted seemed to be very clear to me. After the installation, the price billed by David was significantly incorrect. After about 6 phone calls to the office spanning two days, we finally got the price credited back to the original price quoted by Jennifer, per Brook Fenwick .

Working with Bill Fenwick Plumbing was one of the best contractor experience I have ever had. I called many plumbing companies to install a new gas line connecting a propane tank to a cooktop in a house that did not previously have gas of any kind. They were one of the few that I found that would provide such services. I had one other company come out to bid the project and they were extremely negative and indicated that it couldn't be done without ripping out walls. Bill Fenwick Plumbing did the job and only took out a 6" x 8" hole in the sheet rock, which was to be expected given that a valve needed to be plumbed to the cooktop. They ran the gas line through the attic (which was a nasty job!) and down through the walls. The technicians who performed the work were very professional and took care to make sure they were clean in the process. They were very efficient as well. The staff that organized service was SO friendly and when I ran into problems with the propane provider, they immediately intervened and straightened things out. The whole process was seamless. I HIGHLY recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have. They will be my "go to" business for any future plumbing needs.

I can say positive things all day long about the service we received from Bill Fenwick Plumbing, Inc in April 2018. Our JEA water bill went from 3,000 gal per month to 37,000 gal per month. On investigation, our only option was to take the water service through our attic, or as very commonly known in Florida, to REPIPE the house. I chose this company for its 10 year warranty on PEC pipe installation and the fact it had good recommendations from Angies List. The sales rep, VOLLIE, was very professional and the two installers, Matt and Dustin, were to put it simply great. I got a phone call every morning that the crew was on its way. I paid the estimated price of $4834 and consider it a bargain for the level of professional service that I got from these people.
