My son hurt his arm at school and my husband had to leave them there to finish so he could get to his school. They were very understanding of our situation and trustworthy. Had I not come home just after they finished, they were willing to take payment over the phone. They were understanding of a family emergency...nice family business!

Description of Work: When we came home and found water leaking out of our garage, we knew we were in trouble. Our 13 year old water heater had finally sprung a leak. | |After going on Angie's List and calling several "Best Provider" plumbers in the area, I was disappointed that none of them could come out immediately to help me with my water leakage. Looking down the list, I saw Bill Fenwick Plumbing and recognized the name. Concerned about its lesser rating, I noticed their they received a nasty rating from a disgruntled AL user who claimed they didn't like their quote over the phone. Sounded like someone that just couldn't be pleased, so I decided to ignore that rating and call anyway. | |Glad I did. They said they could have someone there right away. Patrick showed up a couple of hours later and quickly diagnosed a leaky temperature pressure relief valve. A quick fix and only $140 later, the job was complete. | |I was concerned about the age of the water heater and asked for a quote for a new replacement. While he was generating a quote, I also complained about the length of time it took to get hot water to my Master Bathroom. He told me about a product that circulates hot water in your house plumbing so that you always have hot water without running a faucet for minutes waiting to get hot. He gave me a quote for the part itself and said the labor would be free since he was charging for the water heater installation. | |I did some price research and found the water heater for about $400 dollars less at Home Depot. But after doing an online quote, the Home Depot contract company (which was not on Angie's List) quoted the same price as Bill Fenwink. I found the recirculating pump availiable for half the cost on Amazon.com, but would have to pay for the labor if I ordered it separately and had Patrick come back out to install it. In the end, the price for everything was very fair (water heater, parts, recirculation pump, labor, credit for the earlier part they fixed temporarily, and a $25 online coupon). | |But what made me so very happy was the final product. Patrick accomodated my every wish for a perfect installation. He had to reposition the water softener to make the new water heater fit. He noticed my sink had plastic hoses and threw in metal braid hoses free of charge. And he did it fast. The whole evolution from the first time he showed up to finished product was 2 days (Wednesday afteroon temp fix, Friday morning replacement of new water heater). And the Friday morning job only took 2 1/2 hours. Patrick was a professional and I will DEFINITELY call him back for any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Only hot water was coming out of shower faucet. This was fixed, new faucet and shower head that we had purchased at Home Depot was installed.

Description of Work: The company installed recycling pump for hot water, and installed a Water softening system on the water line. I dealt with Mike Fenwick, nice guy and knows his business very well. I wouldn't use anyone else for my plumbing or gas maintenance, install or replacement.
