Description of Work: Replaced a toilet. The plumber was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He worked efficiently and charged exactly the estimated price.

Description of Work: Developed a leak in shower necessitating turning off water to house. Called in early evening and received call back within 30 minutes. Messaged pictures of problem to Mike that evening and work scheduled for following morning. I think they would have come that evening but I had filled bathtub so had water to flush toilets. Plumbers arrived at 8:30 AM and work finished within a couple of hours. They were very neat.

Description of Work: We had Drainage problems in two separate bathrooms. One was a result of tree roots growing into the pipes. It took two separate visits to resolve but they were very professional and all seems to be clear now. They guarantee all work.

Description of Work: The reason I requested service was because the water line to the gas water heater had a pin hole leak. I discovered this on a Sunday & called Bill Fenwick Plumbing. The service asked if I needed a plumber right away. I did not. I was contacted early Monday morning & the plumber arrived around 9am that day. Due to the age & accessibility of the water heater, I decided to have it replaced. There was no pressure to do so. When the technician arrived, I asked if he could possibly attend to two other plumbing issues. One was moving the main water shut off valve from under the deck to just beside the deck. The other was replacing the faucets for an outdoor shower. Both issues were addressed & taken care of as well as the replacement of the gas water heater. All three plumbing jobswere taken care of in one service call professionally & to my satisfaction, including the price. The Bill Fenwick company has done numerous jobs at our home & I have always been pleased with the work. Plumbing work is never inexpensive, however, in this case I was quite pleased with the cost considering how much work was done.

Description of Work: No work was done. I had to give and F because I scheduled an appt for an estimate on a bath/shower remodel. No one showed up for the appt. I had to take time away from work. Very frustrating.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced two 50 gal. gas water heaters with automatic cutoff on one and installed a carbon filter

Description of Work: we heard a drip in the ceiling - he checked it out thoroughly - going into the attic. also had all our bathroom drains cleaned out - much needed maintenance.

Description of Work: George came out and gave me a verbal estimate of $750 to $900 to install a new bathroom sink, faucets for the sink and faucet, drain and shower head for the tub. I did not get a written estimate----please be sure you get it in writing . I did not get to choose my faucets; I asked for brushed nickel; he said he would choose something nice and he did, the most expensive! It took the workers two days to do what should have been done in 1/2 a day. They cut the tile in my tub and misjudged and left a big whole under the faucet and did a "lousy" patch job. The guys they sent out seemed like newbies or trainees to me. The next day the faucets fell off the wall in the tub. I had to call and have another man come out and take it down and reattach the faucets. There was nothing he could do about the whole they left unless I wanted the entire wall retiled. The final cost was $1541 and I complained to the owner and he took off $200; so instead of $750 or $900 I paid $1300 and was very angry. There was no apology from or a reprimand to George.

Description of Work: Fenwick installed a toilet that we had bought from Lowes. It leaked. They returned, tried everything and said it must be the toilet. We took it back to Lowes and got a new one. This time we had to pay again, but Fenwick made it work with the same model of toilet. This is a problem with Lowe's. We paid them to install the toilet. They could not do it because the old toilet's flange was defective. Therefore they refunded our installation payment and we called Fenwick [from Angie's List]. Because of Lowe's defective toilet we had the trouble of returning the heavy item [they would not deliver it ] and on top of that paying two installations to Fenwick. We will try to get some compensation from Lowe's.

Description of Work: Our home was re-piped due to thin copper pipe used by our builder. We also had a water softener replaced with a carbon filter and a new water softener. The estimate was carefully done, very thorough. The workers were Matt and Robert. They were consistently on time, extremely knowledgeable, polite, cleaned up really well each day (9 days)- they were impressive from start to finish. Matt managed to get a new dishwasher installed that had defied the attempts of two other appliance installers. These guys were the best service people we have had in our the last 17 years.
