ELITE A/C

Do not purchase product or services from this company. I purchase a condenser and air handler on 6/1/2019. The condenser stopped cooling. The technician came out quoted $225.00. I asked him to call the manager as this unit is under warranty, he refused said that is the cost. So I proceeded to call their office. The technician went to his truck. I asked the technician to email me the estimate, he refused. I was standing behind the truck in clear view of the technician while on hold with their office staff after requesting to speak with the manager or owner. The technician proceeded to back into me causing bodily injury. The JSO police Case # is 355402.

Very poorly. Was told by Elite's office that the dryer vent was cleaned from the roof down. It was not. Our home is a two story with the dryer vented out the roof. There is a booster fan about half way up the duct. The tech cleaned from the bottom up and pushed all of the lint into the booster fan. I asked him if he got past the booster fan and he said he did (I had never removed the booster fan, so I didn't know that getting past it was impossible). He said he felt the fan and then was able to get past it. In reality he was only able to go up about 10 feet until he hit the fan (and did not get past it). He needed to go about 25 feet to get to the roof. Certainly a good tech can tell if his hose went 10 feet or 25 feet. When we tried to dry our clothes, it took about twice as long as it did before the duct "cleaning". I got to the location of the booster fan and took it apart from the duct work. It was totally clogged with the lint that the tech pushed up into it. I was also able to determine that there is no way that his cleaning brush got past this booster fan, it is impossible. After I cleaned the booster fan and replaced it, the dryer works well again. Also, when cleaning our a/c vents, the other tech knocked loose a bunch of material. The material fell to the floor or whatever was under the duct and he never cleaned a thing. I vacuumed/dusted under each of the 18 vents. The office refused to give us any of our money back. They did offer to come back out, but there is no way I am spending the time to remove the booster fan again and I don't trust them to do anything right or without causing another mess. One last thing; when I called the Elite A/C office to complain, I explained the issues and was told I would receive a return phone call. I never did, I had to call them back. Actually after the poor quality work, it was what I expected.
