Description of Work: Delivered and put out 5 cubic yards of pine bark mulch. |They did a very good job, were courteous and professional. I gave them several instructions about where to put it so it could cover well enough the entire yard. They did it perfectly.

Description of Work: Needed a new lawn service and found Duval Lawn Services on Angies list with very good grades and comments so I reached out and received an email the same day (how great is that). They came out two days later, looked at the lawn, listen to me explain what I wanted done each week, they gave me a fair price and they are now my lawn guys. We scheduled the first cut for Friday the 25th and they did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for lawn care.

Description of Work: Removed damaged grass in a portion of yard and replaced with 500 sq yards of new sod. Even trimmed a small crepe myrtle tree for me, at no additional charge. Measured the remainder of property and gave an estimate for additional sod , whenever I decide to proceed. Gave instructions on care and watering. They had me turn on my sprinklers to ensure water coverage of my new grass. Even replaced one of my sprinkler heads that had been damaged. Very professional group. Would recommend them.

Description of Work: I hired them to install sod in the front yard. They gave me a two hour window when they would be there (between 9-11). They were four hours late arriving at approximately 3:00 p.m. Apologies were made. They did the job well and I hired them to do a portion of the back. They recommended a different type of sod because it was a shadier area. They has two pieces of sod left over and patch a bare area in the front. I noticed the grass was turning brown and thought maybe it was not getting enough water. Called Edgar and he came and looked at the grass and told me he was not an expert but thought it may be fungus or a worm and suggested I call a pest company. I think it is strange that the only sod affected was the back area and the two pieces in front. The sod came from A-1 sod who only guarantees their sod for 24 hours and said if something was wrong the installer should have noticed. A prime case of passing the buck. Will not use either company again.

Description of Work: They installed sod in areas of my yard where it was needed. They were professional, but quite late, and I hung around the house for about three hours before they got there, past the time they were due to arrive. However, to be fair, this might of been a hold up due to the sod supplier, Who is a different company than this. The sod was pretty poor quality. It was yellowed and thin. The owner said to just water it regularly, which we did, but you can still tell that it's poorer quality than the rest of the yard. I understand that it was not really within their control what was delivered from the pallet, but I wish there would've been a solution they could have offered to somehow get another pallet delivered and pick up the one that was poor quality. Again, this may be out of their control.
