From the beginning, the folks at Duval Lawn Services were nothing short of OUTSTANDING. They came out and did an estimate on re-sodding my front and back lawns within 3 days of contacting them. Their estimate was very fair, lower than others I had received, and they were willing to answer all of my questions and work with me through the process. I decided to have sod delivered myself, and we worked out a very competitive price for installation. My yard was sprayed a few works prior to the installation to kill all of the existing grass (or weeds!). They were kind enough to notify me when they sprayed and reminded me to keep the dog and kids off the lawn for at least a day. I had questions about how the process would work leading up to the installation, and they were helpful in answering everything along the way. I had my grass delivered onto my driveway the evening before installation. Two polite, hard working gentlemen showed up from the company on installation day and walked through the lawn with me, explaining how it would work and paying particular attention to where sprinkler lines/phones cables/drainage lines/power lines were run in the yard. I had some holes in the yard from trees that were removed, and they explaine dhow they would use fill dirt to make a nice steady grade away form the house before installing the sod. They set to work almost immediately using an edger and weedwhip to remove the now dead grass. This worked perfectly. They were extra careful around the sprinkler heads, driveway, and windows. They used the fill dirt and made the nice grade we discussed. I don't honestly recall them taking any breaks for lunch even! They worked extremely hard and cleared both the front and back, and laid down all of the sod. I was extremely impressed with the finished product. Both men offered suggestions on how to water and care for the lawn moving forward. They even guaranteed that if the sod died and I was watering it consistently, they would come back out and help me get it right. It has only been a couple of days since the installation, but everything looks great and I am very pleased with the result. I would DEFINITELY use these guys again for future landscaping projects. We are very happy with the service provided. We first asked for two pallets to be installed. The sod was of good quality and seems to be taking well. We ended up ordering one more pallet and it too looks good. Edgar was able to schedule us in in a timely fashion and the work was completed on the agreed upon dates. He also provided advice on how to care for our new grass. We would definitely do business with him again.

It went very smooth , I called they came right out. (I was lucky i believe to reach them at end of their day and jobs) quoted a fair price , they went to work and results were beautiful , .they are now my go to .I highly recommend.

Edgar Madera is the best- hands down!!! I contacted Edgar via Angie's List message service and his responses to me were incredibly prompt! We were having some construction done in our backyard and realized we needed to cap off a run of sprinkler. Edgar fit us in to his busy schedule. He and his crew were professional, prompt, knowledgeable and really nice too! This was a really pleasant experience and I highly recommend Duval Lawn Service and Mr. Madera and his crew!

It went very well. All sprinkler heads are working as they should. He arrived exactly when he said, and was very professional. I will use him to tune up my system probably once a year or as needed.

They were very prompt. My window was 7-9a and they arrived at 7:45 am. Tune up and repair were complete before 9am. He explained all the work performed. My system was programmed and ready to go. In addition he showed my how to manually run each zone if I felt it needed extra water. Mr. Madera and his team were very efficient. My lawn and I appreciate it!!

The crew arrived within the time specified, they were courteous, personable, and professional. These are no amateurs, they knew what they were doing, what they were up against, worked as a team, and were efficient in doing so. As a side note, it had not rained in my area for 2 weeks while everyone else got rain, and wouldn't you know it, just as they were about to complete the job, it started thundering/lightning and rained sheets. Yes, a strong downpour at an angle and sheets of rain. I was extremely happy, but was very sad for the crew because that rain stalled their work efforts at my house which I'm sure pushed back their other jobs. Unfortunate events tend to do that. All in all, I am extremely satisfied, will use them again, and will certainly recommend them to others. Thank you very much. My husband recommended I contact Angie's List and I'm so glad I did.

Jorge is very professional, conscientious and reasonably priced. We have had several other lawn services and Duval Lawn Services is by far the best.

The workers arrived as scheduled. They were courteous and answered my questions. The only problem was that they ordered one less pallet of sod than was needed. They returned promptly to install the balance of the sod. The lawn looks great and I'm very happy with the result.

The services are always very good. The man that comes out to do the service is very friendly. He is very realiable and very pleasant to do business with.
