D.R. Horton

We live in Florida and were contacted by Florida power and light that a new owner had applied for service at our address and that our account would be closed. This was very upsetting to us as we are not moving and do not want our service cancelled. I called FPL and was told that DR Horton had applied for service at our address and our account was to be closed. I have spoken to three people now at FPL and am getting voice mails that our account is closed all thanks to DR Horton???? I have emailed DR Horton and they do not respond. This is causing me much stress as I am ill and cannot have our power shut off because evidently someone at DR Horton messed up. I expect a response from DR Horton and would like to know how they can go ahead and have my service closed out? Any fees that I may incur due to this will be their responsibility and I will seek legal counsel if necessary.
